NH Collection Merida Paseo Montejo

Excelente servicio, el baño de la habitación huele a caño se regresan los olores de las coladeras, las habitaciones que dan a la calle demasiado ruido de un motor toda la noche. Ponen en primera foto su alberca pero solo tienen 3 camastros y sillas con mesita? Porque en los spots de las sillas y mesitas no ponen otros camastros.

Reservé en dicho hotel por que me gustó la amenidad de la piscina en la terraza. Me comuniqué al hotel para reservar vía telefonica al número 999 964 0400, donde entre otros servicios y amenidades me mencionaron la piscina en la terraza, al final no le pudieron hacer la reservación mencionando que estaba fallando el sistema y que me regresarían la llamada, misma que nunca llegó, por lo que lo hice por medio de expedia. Por la noche subí y no estaba llena, me supuse que por la noche la vaciaban sin embargo, el siguiente día permanecía en las mismas condiciones, al preguntar a personal del hotel, me mencionaron que estaba en reparación debido a que se habia quebrado el cristal. Al realizar el check out, le menciono a la recepcionista que no estaba conforme por que nunca nos avisaron que no funcionaba la piscina, misma que nos pregunta; ¿no les mencionaron a su ingreso que podían hacer uso de la piscina del hotel del lado (City) cuando fue la misma recepcionista que nos hizo el check in, manifestando la misma que no se acordó de mencionarlo. Deberían ser claro en los servicios y amenidades que ofrecen, ya que de haber sabido que la piscina no estaba funcionando, no habría reservado en ese hotel. Agradezco a la agencia que se preocupe por sus usuarios.

I loved the pool cleanliness The quiet space i had.

The pool and that view were amazing! Very few towels at the pool side for use.

Lo único que no estuvo bueno durante mi estancia fue que la alberca estaba sucia… había restos de hojas y plumas de aves.

The staff was very friendly and courteous, the breakfast was pretty good for the price, and the location was excellent and super convenient for exploring Mérida. Our only real complaint is that the roof pool area didn’t look like the pictures and the hotel in general looked a bit rundown and in need of cleaning/maintenance. Nothing extreme and we still enjoyed our stay, but it is disappointing when photos of a property are a bit deceiving.

The worst NH experience I had, no signs to park, dirty room, almost couldn’t sleep with my nose blocked of allergy. As a frequent customer of NH in Europe I was negatively surprise by the poor service and lack of cleaning of the room.

Property ok but need an update in certain areas like the pool, halls...the towels are very old.

The worst service I have seen in the NH collection group. Offer mini bar service and is empty, then put some drinks and the mini bar is closed with safety key, air dresser with out of service. Doesn’t have swimming pool bar service. Really they need to fix a lot of thinks I will never come back to NH Merida. There is many offers better at the same price

Entire 5th floor smelled strongly of mildew/mold. Multiple dehumidifiers running throughout our stay and almost every time we walked through the hallway, the units said empty bucket. We left a parking ticket at the front desk area and never got validated so we had to pay $15 USD to leave the garage. Pool was disappointingly small and not that clean.

La habitación estaba sucia al momento de llegar, el piso, el baño, la cama. La limpieza estaba hecha, no es que no habían hecho limpieza, si no que estaba súper mal hecha. A pesar de la queja, el tema mejoró poco y la atención que recibí cuando reporté el incidente fue malísima, me llevaron ropa de cama limpia pero me pidieron que yo la pusiera y para hacer el reporte nunca me facilitaron el acceso al canal correcto, sino que yo tuve que estar “cazando” a la encargada de atención al huésped, cuando al menos ella debería haberme estado buscando a mi ya que el equipo de recepción ya tenía mi queja.

The hotel is inside the Paseo 60 shopping center and a block away from Paseo Montejo. Lots of restaurants, cafes and historic places to visit on a walking distance. Unfortunately the room floors, desk, night stand, and all the bathroom was extremely dirty, there was mold inside the shower. Hallways leading to the rooms were dirty and smelly as well. Rooms are small. We make the reservation for 3 people and only receive 2 (old and very used) towels we call once when we arrive that day and twice the next morning to get a third one and the towel finally appear right when we were leaving to check the city… The beds were comfortable and the breakfast buffet ($17 usd pp if you pay at the property) was good but not many options as you may expect for a buffet,

Als wir ankamen war die Toilette noch mit Spuren von vorherigen Gästen versehen. Als ich die Reinigungsdame kam, wollte sie mir sagen das dies eingefressene alte Flecken seien. Ich musste ihr dann zeigen mit einem feuchten Lappen das diese einfach zu reinigen wäre. Bei dem Rooftop Pool gab es nie Tücher und Toiletten dort waren ebenfalls schmutzig. Es stand überall Geschirr rum und als es gewindet hat- flogen die leeren Petflaschen umher. Unser Zimmer wurde am nächsten Tag um 18 Uhr gereinigt…Auf Google zeigt es eine andere Adresse an, anscheinend wissen sie aber Bescheid. Warum das nicht geändert wurde- keine Ahnung. Betten bequem, aber ebenfalls mit Flecken versehen, welche man wegkratzen konnte..

Excellent service and clean rooms - as always

El hotel se ve descuidado y sucio. No se cuidan detalles ni en habitaciones ni en otras áreas como baños por ejemplo. La limpieza es superficial y tiene mal olor. Se ve muy viejo.

It's an excellent location in middle of the historical centre though blink and you'll miss the entrance to the hotel: look up to see the hotel name. A couple notes: VERY firm beds. I had to buy a supplementary foam cushion from Walmart, which is around the corner. Also, 1 side of the hotel (east) faces the inner patio/courtyard which hosts public singing performances, which last until about 11pm, so if you're an early sleeper, request a room that faces west.

Location is perfect a lots of restaurants around at night.Music at night however the shows are from 9-11 that is a little late and you can hear the music in the rooms. The rooms need more attention on the cleaning. The nestle coffee machine did not had a lid where you put the water. No water bottles replenished everyday. Mini fridge locked unable to used. Head board with stains no enough towels for hand and face . The hallways smells humid.

Overall ok, but the TV is all in spanish and there is no option to use our Netflix account which is quite common in all hotels.

Well located and safe, and a fair price for Mexico (cheap by US standards). The elevators are hot -- both the one from the courtyard to the reception area, and the one to the rooms. There is live music every night in the courtyard, and my room looked directly over that area. Loud music until almost midnight on Friday and Saturday, and until between 10 and 11 on Sunday and Monday. Just because of that, I will not stay again, or I will ask if they can guarantee an odd-numbered room (but then, that will be on the street side, which can probably also be noisy).

It was okay, I thought it was better, kind of smaller than I expected maybe thats why my rate. Overall was okay. I though I would have bathtub per the photos but I didnt.

El ingreso al lobby no es fácil de encontrar si no se pregunta a alguien. Por la noche se cuela mucho ruido (música) del exterior a pesar de tener las ventanas bien cerradas. Por la mañana se escucha mucho ruido de una bomba o un motor aunque estén las ventanas cerradas.

I loved the extra benefits, I got upgraded to a Junior Suite with a hot tub! The pool was literally on the ceiling/top floor, and even though it was warm at night, not the best idea to get in during a thunderstorm. The room, considering it was a Junior Suite, was a bit small... I mean, it was fine, specially the bathroom, but I can't imagine how small a normal room would be. About the bathroom: Yes, it was very big, but I didn't like that there was no door for either the hot tub or shower, so all the water splashed out. About the breakfast buffet: For the price, it was okay... a little bit of everything, but not a big variety. The only thing is that there was no hostess, only one waiter doing everything, which was not very efficient. Experience during check in: Great! The person in charge at that moment was very nice, helped me print out some documents I needed, made the upgrade to the Junior Suite, etc

The rooms had an strong musky smell due to the HVAC system we ask to be transferred to other room because the smell but still the same unfortunately the glass windows can’t be opened so no fresh air can come into the room

Me entregaron el cuarto pasadas las 5pm. Tenía una boda obviamente no llegue y la del lobby mega grosera y ponía caras por todo. Tenía tanta prisa que ya ni me queje pero sin duda no regreso a este. Hay muchos más por ahí que probar

Service too slow 20 minutes to check in, the lady didn't even know how to use the card machine Ai had to do it. Restaurant takes forever

The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Despite my non-existent Spanish language, the patience, kindness and warm interactions for support and assistance from the reception, to the restaurant and kitchen, my stay was very memorable. My arrival and check-in was seamless. I had booked through hotels.com and didn’t realize that it included the buffet breakfast which included a wide variety of local and traditional American breakfast items. My room was very clean and comfortable with strong air conditioning to counteract my slow adaptation to the hot and humid days of the Yucatan. On my departure, my flight was very early, and the kitchen and reception staff thoughtfully curated a healthy fresh fruit breakfast for me to take away which was such a blessing, given the time restrictions when dashing for your flight back home. Everyone from soup to nuts at the NH Collection Merida Paseo Montejo was absolutely stellar, kind and top notch hospitable. The central location of the hotel was also key to access lots of local eats. Highly recommended!!!

The hotel was modern and nice image, however my experience with the service was horrible. We arrived at 11am (we knew Chek-In was at 3 but wanted to see if the room was ready or at least to leave our luggage and go walk). At 3 we showed up room was ready but only a 2 beds when we required for a king bed. She said to wait another hour because they had nothing ready. 1hr waiting nothing she knows we are there waiting but no communication so I go see her and she finally gave us a room. The place is nice however you can hear everything, isolation is not good, the bed was uncomfortable. One night we asked for room service never come. We never saw the stuff with a sincere smile.

Nos fue muy bien en este hotel. Gran atencion del Manager Christian Gomez que esta muy al pendiente de que pases una estancia placentera, te hace sentir como en casa. Si vas a Merida no te pierdas este hotel, ideal par familias y negocios. Desayuno muy rico y excelente atencion amable y esmerada de su personal. Felicidades!

La recepción mala tardaron en entregar la habitación a quienes traíamos por hoteles.com pero a Lao pagarán directo en el Lugar se las entregan rápido

En general estuvo bien, en el restaurante muy amables. Quizá mejorar un poco en velocidad los servicios de la recepción

The staff service is terrible

The place is very clean and nice, however they have the worse service ever, which made the experience a really bad one. They gave us a two beds room when we paid for a King and to give us the right one they took over an hour and we lost our dinner reservations and a wedding rehearsal dinner. Once we were in the right room some people were trying to come into our room and turns out they were given THE SAME ROOM! Just a terrible experience. And then we were trying to rest and housekeeping where super loud slamming the doors and all their cleaning supplies since 7:00 am. Just terrible.

Inconsistent policies. Let me check in and pay for 3 dogs and then another member of the staff told me we could only have two. Wouldn’t let my husband and I book another room. We had to move to another hotel.

Great location: walking distance to Paseo Montejo, restaurants downstairs, Ado & Turibus stop downstairs. Clean property, friendly staff, comfortable beds, definitely will return there on the next trip to Merida.

The hotel sits very close to the beautiful Paseo Montejo and we were able to walk to all the beautiful museums, plazas and churches. The breakfast provided delicious options and the staff was very friendly. If I could get back to Merida I would select this hotel again.

El hotel está ubicado en una plaza con muchas opciones para comer. Es muy bonito y las habitaciones amplias y cómodas. Sirven un brunch de 1 a 5 muy bueno con un precio muy accesible $220. Sin embargo tienen muchos detalles que mejorar. La pantalla de mi habitación no servía desde que llegamos y en múltiples ocasiones pedí que lo solucionaran y nunca lo hicieron. Estuvimos tres noches y nunca sirvió. Un día tomamos el brunch y al siguiente, cuando llegamos al restaurante dijeron que ese día no habría brunch, pero tampoco sabían la causa. Y no pudieron hacer un frappé porque la licuadora se rompió y no tenían vaso. La verdad es que están muy desorganizados y eso se nota a cada momento

The breakfast options are limited, especially when it comes to the selection of cheeses. Additionally, the bed sheets are a bit rough.

El hotel excelente, el personal muy amable y siempre atentos y serviciales. Todo nos encantó. Invitados a regresar. Lo que no nos convenció: el desayuno buffet del restaurante. Ni la variedad ni la calidad de los alimentos. Sugiero den opción de menú a la carta.
