It was a good experience great breakfast very friendly people shuttle drivers fantastic the big problem was only one elevator was working with a lot of people staying there I realize that sometimes that's beyond the control to get good help to fix the elevator so can't really blame them but it did make for more problems especially when you stay at the fifth floor

Unfortunately, their airport transfer vehicle is a mini-van (holds 2 - 3 people) and it was already booked so we had to pay for an Uber. The front desk staff apologized about the inconvenience. We chose this hotel because it said airport transfer was included. Very disappointed at this lack of service. Will not stay here again.

This Hampton Inn (HI) is a few minutes from San Jose Airport (SJC). I arrived at SJC at about 9:30 pm, called the HI for the shuttle, and the shuttle arrived in about 10 minutes. Quick and courteous service. The staff at the HI were also quick and friendly. There is a breakfast provided that was fine - maybe not a 5-star feast, but certainly adequate. The room was clean and well maintained. There is a VTA (light rail station) directly adjacent to the HI, which is convenient, but also potentially noisy. My room looked down onto the VTA station but there was not enough noise to be bothersome. The local neighborhood has very few restaurants. The only dinner dining within walking distance is a coffee shop across the street and half-a-block away. The neighborhood is strictly business with few amenities, so this HI is best for business or a base of operations. Rideshare response is quick (this is, after all, Silicon Valley).

I like the convenience of having an airport shuttle, clean rooms, only disappointment was I requested housekeeping once during our 5-night stay, and nobody came. I also don't understand why almost the entire lobby and common area is closed off, together with the breakfast area, when breakfast time is over. Only two lounge chairs near the check-in counter are available where you can sit while waiting for pickup. It was like this our entire stay, it was a disappointment for those like us who expected a spacious area to relax outside the room without having to leave the hotel, as shown in pictures online. The breakfast choice was ok for one day, but it can become repetitive if you plan to stay longer. We were expecting rotation of sausage, bacon, or corned beef hash, but only had sausage daily for our entire stay. I would still recommend the place for a short one-night stay.

Did not like the added $10 parking fee at time of check in. TV didn’t work was told by the staff oh yeah they are new and don’t work sometimes… sorry, the elevator was next to our room so the chime kept all of us up every time some one got on or off. Will definitely stay at Holiday Inn next time.

My husband parked his truck in the parking lot 12/9/2025 and unfortunately 2-3 cars were broken into. Even though there’s a sign that shows 24 hour surveillance, it did not deter the crooks. Hotel accommodations was fine but hotel security needs to improve parking safety.

Pathetic barely edible breakfast with nothing fresh. Ants in the room. Bathroom door kept coming off rails. TV didn't work. Phone in room broken so I couldn't even call for help. When I went to front desk to ask for help, the person they sent up was unable to actually fix any of the issues.

We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times and found it enjoyable. We stayed there when it first opened. I was using my credits for this stay and am disappointed I did. The room they put us in was handicapped and near the tram. When we got to the room it had poor lighting and we found a used condom on the floor . My husband and I were disgusted and asked for a new room. The second room they gave us was the same exact location only two floors down. The lighting was a little better because the lamp was missing in the first room. They didn’t allow my husband to change rooms without me coming down to verify my ID. Then they asked if we were charged the parking fee of 10$ per night, so they didn’t charge us double. There was no ice bucket plastic bag so they gave me a laundry bag to fill. My husband liked coming to this hotel because it had an actual step in shower and not a tub shower. But of course we got a tub shower. I am a Hilton Honors member as well but I was using my credits for this stay. We probably will never come back even though we liked it in the past . The hotel is not the same . I saw a handful of small ants when filling my water bottle at the filling station, but just thought it was a little gross. Unfortunately as I was about to go to bed, I found the same ants in my bed four floors up. No one came to clean until the next morning, and that evening I still had ants.

I genuinely had a very very nice stay, I have absolutely no complaints! Everything about my stay here was fantastic, from the convenient airport shuttle service to the hotel, to my super clean room, amazing front desk staff, overall excellent service all around! Thank you very much, I will definitely be coming back here next time I plan a trip to San Jose!

This hotel was good, not great. The breakfast was a great perk and the food was okay. The beds and pillows weren’t the most comfortable and the sheets were badly made on the bed. The sink’s faucet was off to the side and it was impossible to wash our hands at a comfortable angle. We had to leave a towel down because 90% of the water ended up on the counter. The bathroom could have used extra cleaning and the cabinet where the refrigerator was was gross. These were minor compared to other hotels and wouldn’t prevent me from staying here, again.

I had booked my room at the end of June for a 1 bed king size 3 nights 4 days. When I got there at check in, they said they were overbooked and I’d have to downgrade to a double queen room. Didn’t really mind at first. My dad showed up the next day and got a king bed, he said the lady at the front almost told him there were not rooms available until the manager came and corrected her. I went to the front desk and asked to be put in a king room since they said they had plenty. They said today is possible, it just wasn’t possible yesterday. The manager said “I’m gonna upgrade you for the rest of your stay” and I ended up just getting the room I initially paid for. When we moved rooms. The tv wasn’t working. We called the front desk and asked for maintenance. They never came within an hour so we went out and put the do not disturb sign up. They still came into our room with the sign up saying do not disturb. When we came back. The tv STILL didn’t work and they left cables on our table. We called again. They said it should be up again. It never came back up. We spent the last 2 days there with no tv entertainment. Not the best EXPERIENCE but I’m grateful I had a place to rest my head while I was in San Jose.

Room outside noisy from the street was terrible. Trolly dinging all night long prevented sleep and the external door seal was loose so very loud. Breakfast was below average quality and selection. Huge positive for the airport shuttle though, very convenient and easy.

John was amazing at check-in. He helped me set up a transport back to the hotel after dropping off my rental car. We thoroughly enjoy staying in Hampton Inns when on vacation, but this was by far the best one we've been in. The room was much larger than what we're accustomed to, and the water filling station was used often by my family. Wonderful shuttle service, too.

I went to the front desk and asked to be put in a king room since they said they had plenty. They said today is possible, it just wasn’t possible yesterday. The manager said “I’m gonna upgrade you for the rest of your stay” and I ended up just getting the room I initially paid for. When we moved rooms. The tv wasn’t working. We called the front desk and asked for maintenance. They never came within an hour so we went out and put the do not disturb sign up. They still came into our room with the sign up saying do not disturb. When we came back. The tv STILL didn’t work and they left cables on our table. We called again. They said it should be up again. It never came back up. We spent the last 2 days there with no tv entertainment. Not the best EXPERIENCE but I’m grateful I had a place to rest my head while I was in San Jose.

We were extremely disappointed as we were moved to the hotel next door. They claimed to be overbooked. I prepaid for two rooms and our party was separated and ended up staying in two different hotels. I can't rate the Hampton because we were denied our prepaid reserved room.

I like the convenience of having an airport shuttle, clean rooms, only disappointment was I requested housekeeping once during our 5-night stay, and nobody came. I also don't understand why almost the entire lobby and common area is closed off, together with the breakfast area, when breakfast time is over. Only two lounge chairs near the check-in counter are available where you can sit while waiting for pickup. It was like this our entire stay, it was a disappointment for those like us who expected a spacious area to relax outside the room without having to leave the hotel, as shown in pictures online. The breakfast choice was ok for one day, but it can become repetitive if you plan to stay longer. We were expecting rotation of sausage, bacon, or corned beef hash, but only had sausage daily for our entire stay. I would still recommend the place for a short one-night stay.

Took 5 calls to the hotel for someone to answer the phone so I could get a shuttle from the airport. It would ring and ring until it finally went busy and ended the call. Once arriving at the hotel, I had to wait another 10 minutes minimum for someone to even come to the front desk. Then the guy acted like he was put out having to check me and another guest in.

This Hampton Inn (HI) is a few minutes from San Jose Airport (SJC). I arrived at SJC at about 9:30 pm, called the HI for the shuttle, and the shuttle arrived in about 10 minutes. Quick and courteous service. The staff at the HI were also quick and friendly. There is a breakfast provided that was fine - maybe not a 5-star feast, but certainly adequate. The room was clean and well maintained. There is a VTA (light rail station) directly adjacent to the HI, which is convenient, but also potentially noisy. My room looked down onto the VTA station but there was not enough noise to be bothersome. The local neighborhood has very few restaurants. The only dinner dining within walking distance is a coffee shop across the street and half-a-block away. The neighborhood is strictly business with few amenities, so this HI is best for business or a base of operations. Rideshare response is quick (this is, after all, Silicon Valley).

It was a super busy weekend, when we stayed. There was only one guy working the breakfast that was provided. Poor guy was running around trying to keep up, he did great, but could have definitely used some help. The food provided was not very appetizing at all. Not that I expected 5 star, but definitely the least we have enjoyed.

Pathetic barely edible breakfast with nothing fresh. Ants in the room. Bathroom door kept coming off rails. TV didn't work. Phone in room broken so I couldn't even call for help. When I went to front desk to ask for help, the person they sent up was unable to actually fix any of the issues.

Our room was clean, but i could hear the train horn in the early morning. Parking was a mess; looks like it was under construction. Breakfast is continental style, but both days, trays were empty & long wait times for them to refill items. Elevators were slow at times.
