Loved the fact that it was pet friendly for real. However the room was very smelly (poopy) and insanely cold. Was not able to warm more than 17.5 / 18 degrees Celcius for the whole 48 hours we were there. The gym was nice but very small.

This property is too expensive for the amenities provided. Shower tap lacked proper caulking, elevator, while functional, was noisy and seemed in the anachronistic 1930's. Also, no car parking onsite. Valet parking was available but actual parking spot was unknown to us.

I had made two separate reservations for two rooms from 1-3 Jan and 3-6 Jan2026. However, I cancelled the second room today and cut short the stay and checked out on the 03Jan. the concierge staff was rude and defensive. This was pathetic to say the least. She could not locate the two separate reservations and blaming the customer. She should not be at the reception. Also the put door freezing parking is 40 CAD/day which is a bit much. So overall the Hotel was not that good.

Overall a good hotel and will stay there again in the future. The elevator is somewhat noisy especially if you have a room nearby. It would be good to hear from the hotel management on how they can reduce that noise. Perhaps the elevator needs some maintenance.

Staff wonderful. Room clean. Pot lights dimmer in living room and bedroom bed light didn’t work. Valet service full and had to park our car outside, but that was no big deal. Still a great stay! Highly recommended

The Property is centrally located, quiet and convenient, I ad valet parking, call 30 minutes before needing the car, the car was not ready consequently being LATE for my appointment, very very poor

The staff was courteous, but I would say some of the bedsheets have some stains and wr didn’t have the chance to complain since we just noticed it in the morning — but overall it’s an easy fix and the staff and valet officers were nice and the place was nice.

Location is good, walkable to most areas of interest and a short Uber to others. Breakfast was overpriced for the quality, room condition was fair however our room the wall paper was peeling off in multiple areas and the flooring and baseboards were in quite rough shape in areas. Bathroom is a bit small but fine for one person at a time.

The staff is very kind and helpful! The room was beautifully decorated, and the hotel is very well-located. However, the cleaning was poor (I found hair on the floor and walls in the shower, as well as food in the fridge). I also found the room very noisy, with a loud and constant machine operating (it seemed to be the elevator motor, as the room was located beside it).

Front desk was friendly and accommodating. Stayed 3 days, 1st day awoke to a dog barking non stop, the 2nd day room was not cleaned while we were gone during the day so when we got back in the afternoon to rest we just put the do not disturb sign out and left it as is. Shower and edges of the room had hairs and dirt when we arrived, room needed a good vacuum. Overall the room was a nice space but not sound proof, we could hear the neighbors a lot. Good location to walk to nearby restaurants. Valet parking is very expensive at $40/day.

Great location, lovely, flexible, and effective staff. Fair price. Only complaint was that the bathroom door offered zero privacy. It was a barn door (sliding), with no sound protection at all. The room was perfect for a solo traveller but very awkward for two friends travelling together. Would stay again on my own.

Room was spacious. You can tell it's an older building just with some of the doors and walls needing repair. Shower was great. TV volume kept going up and down. If you use Netflix, the hotel screen won't go away so you cannot see the entire screen. Hate the new a/c heat systems that automatically shut off and you cannot keep the fan going. I had to keep waking up to turn it back on. Very annoying.

The room was very clean and very large. There are signs of wear in and around the bathroom. The chair/ottoman was a bit wonky, needs some repair. There was lots of noise from the elevator and the heating system. The room was NOT overheated which is a great thing during a winter visit.The restaurant was closed so that was a disappointed on a very snowy evening. Staff were friendly and efficient. The beds were comfy so overall it was a good stay.

First and foremost, the windows don't open and there is no fresh air. The AC isn't cold enough and there is no way to keep the fan on; it turns on and off annoyingly. No art in the room. Scented air in the room is abrasive to the nose. The room service menu is a QR code. Handle on the toilet falls off in your hand.

The staff at Sens Hotel are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. Housekeeping does an exceptional job. Returning to my clean, comfortable room after a long day always felt like a treat. On my most recent trip, a flight cancellation led me to rebook an extra night at Sens. I had been up all night at the airport and contacted the hotel to see if I could check in early. Not only did they accommodate my 9 a.m. arrival, but they were also genuinely sympathetic about the airline chaos. Their compassion and readiness to help meant so much. I always choose Sens when I visit Montreal, and I’ll continue to do so. The rooms are spacious and spotless, and I especially appreciate the absence of carpeting. Such a plus! Highly recommended.

We arrived at Sense Hotel and were given our room cards. We also paid a deposit. After the long flight, we were very tired and went to rest, as I needed to prepare for a meeting. Shortly after, I received a phone call from the hotel asking again for my ID information. About 10 minutes later, they called again to say they had given us the wrong room and asked me to come down to reception. At that moment, I was in the middle of an important meeting, which I had to cancel. I was told to pack my belongings and move to another room within 15 minutes. The staff seemed inexperienced and disorganized. Additionally, the weather was very hot, There were very few water bottles provided in the room.

DO NOT STAY THIS HOTEL! I paid for the vallet service to have my car parked which was already expensive. Last night I went to the front desk to ask them to bring my car, and they could not find the valley guy for ONE HOUR. I lost my reservations at the restaurant and they ruined my last day on the trip. The vallet man disappeared for 1 hour and they had no idea where he was and refused to send anyone else to get my car. They called him and just continued to tell me “sorry ma’am we don’t know where he is”. They left me stranded in the hotel lobby for an hour and all my plans got cancelled due to this. They vallet was already very expensive, be very careful, they are a scam. There are so many other wonderful hotels in the downtown area that are more reliable to stay in.

This is my go to hotel in Montreal. The location is great - walkable to Crescent Street/Ste. Catherine and the metro is 2 blocks. Customer service is out of this world and better than several 5 star hotels I’ve stayed at. The team here anticipates needs and are happy to help at every turn. Rooms are modern and very clean. Always a pleasure to stay here!

SENs Hotel is ideally situated in a leafy part of Montreal with easy access to museums and restaurants. Many sights to see around the area. Accessible by foot if you like a walk or transport. The Staff were helpful and friendly. The room was very clean with amenities provided. Recommend this place to stay.

Stayed here during my first trip to Montreal and couldn’t have chosen a better location! The hotel is just steps from the STM Guy-Concordia metro, making it easy to explore the city. There are lots of great restaurants close by and it’s only about 10 minutes from the train station, which was so convenient. The property was very clean and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, even accommodating a late check-in when our train arrived late. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again next time I’m in Montreal.

Stay at SENS Hotel was a great experience. Close to the Green Line. Being near the University gives you great options on places to eat and entertainment. The room (Twin Double) was clean and comfortable. I will stay again when I come back to visit.

Restaurant was great, smaller menu but excellent food. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice, some small things about it that could be fixed like the shower hose but a minor detail. Bed was comfy and overall the room was clean! Loved our stay.
