I read reviews on this bed and breakfast, and liked what I saw. It did not disappoint! It felt like an oasis, being surrounded by so much foliage and charm. There were little trails that led to fountains, and a few little outdoor coves that had either seating/kitchen area, hot tub, or just another option to sit at a different part of the property. We stayed in the pool house, which is separate from the main house, and definitely felt like we had the place to ourselves. It isn't the high end modern style but more comfortable and like being back in time (in a good way). The breakfast was delicious, and the inn keepers were great! We will definitely be staying there again!!

Clear directions, clean and welcoming, spacious and private. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub as well. The breakfast was included and fabulous! We are GF and the couple made us something special. So thoughtful.

We chose this B&B in part because of it's location to the venue we were going to in the evening. The check-in was very easy. An email had been sent to us facilitating our arrival. A packet had been prepared for us and left in a location we found and we simple 'let ourselves in'. No formal check - in was necessary or required. The outdoor pool was very clean and inviting. The room was lovely and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was wonderful and the grounds impeccable.

Overall, the property is one of the cleanest and quietest properties I’ve ever stayed in. Our room was on the small side, but was really charming. We enjoyed our breakfast that was made by the property owners. They were very nice and came to our table several times.

This was a beautiful old home and I’m sure that once the spring yard work gets started the grounds will be lovely as well. At this point it seems a bit unkempt but the inside is beautiful.

Comfortable and a lot Of Charm. Had a bad experience when we called with a question just rude. Had someone else’s old food in the room fridge. Nothing major and only stayed one night so didn’t get to use all the amenities but the pool and such looked great.

Would have given an excellent rating but our room was tiny. It was very clean but only had one chair which was located in the closet area, no place to really put things to do makeup, hair, etc. No place in bathroom to put things. The grounds and estate were beautiful and well kept. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was great except the size of the room. The pics in the ad did not depict a small room.

Lovely property and built in 1923 so it's showing it's age. Stayed in Library Room. On the first floor and nicely appointed but as with most old buildings you can hear any noise in the common area adjacent and especially the sounds of footsteps in the room above you. Great breakfast with very enjoyable staff.

It was like a mini-resort. Our room (Garden room) was smaller than we realized, but it was a good price for all the same amenities, including a real breakfast. We were only there one night so it suited our needs fine. We would stay there again, but if we stayed more than one night, would get a different/bigger room.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Far View-A Bed and Breakfast Estate. We stayed in the Balcony Room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was decorated beautifully. The view from the balcony was very pleasing to the eye. The whole property was gorgeous. Steve and Lynda were a wonderful hosts and provided a delicious breakfast. We plan on staying there again and we would highly recommend It!

We stayed in the Carriage House and it was charming for a girls' weekend. The proprietors are lovely and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! Plenty of A.C., as well as hot water for the luxurious deep tub. The cabana and grill on property must be seen to be appreciated. Highly recommended for a romance weekend or a family gathering.

This is a real B&B built in 1920’s so some of the newer modern accommodations are just not there however if you know that going in, well then you’ll be fine. Like there is no elevator, the rooms are not suites and there’s no menu for breakfast. It was built for a family of 5 I think in 1925 so the rooms and bathrooms are small but lovely. The history of the house should be appreciated if you chose to stay here. Breakfast was wonderful, meat fruit eggs coffee juice etc. Very nice. Staff was extremely friendly. Clean home, beautiful period decorations, quiet surroundings yet close to Main Street and we would stay again.

It was a wonderful stay; house was very clean and even as a solo traveler you felt safe. Innkeepers were friendly and attentive without being in your face. The Garden room is cozy and comfortable, but it is very small. Breakfast was a delight. Hope to be back for the Round Top fall show.

Beautiful setting close to downtown. Loved the claw-footed soaking tub. Breakfast was delicious! Fascinating history of the property in a binder in the room made great reading. We stayed in the Carriage Suite which was private and spacious.

Enjoyed our one night stay. The weather was rather stormy while we were there so really did not get to explore the property/grounds. Though there is no front desk for check in, check in instructions were easy to follow and our reservation packet was waiting for us at the front door. Enjoyed our visit with Steve during breakfast. Room was clean and food was very good. We'll be back for another stay.

The Far View Bed & Breakfast in Brenham is lovely inside and out. It is furnished with antiques and was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, all fresh and homemade. The grounds were nice, and I’m sure they will be spectacular come spring. The innkeepers were very nice, taking time to get to know guests and offering suggestions for excursions in the area. I enjoyed my stay very much!

This property is lovely. It's surrounded by trees so you can't even tell it's in a neighborhood. The owners were friendly and hospitable. And the food was a delicious work of art. I definitely plan to return.

I knew within 10 minutes of arrival that I wanted to come back. I thoroughly enjoyed the decor, quiet places to enjoy outdoors and the hosts were wonderfully attentive. I could not have asked for a better getaway experience.

This property is lovely. It's surrounded by trees so you can't even tell it's in a neighborhood. The owners were friendly and hospitable. And the food was a delicious work of art. I definitely plan to return.

I've never stayed at a B&B so this was new to me. There is no front desk, but getting to our room was easy. This is a nice quiet neighborhood and the room was very nice.

Beautiful setting close to downtown. Loved the claw-footed soaking tub. Breakfast was delicious! Fascinating history of the property in a binder in the room made great reading. We stayed in the Carriage Suite which was private and spacious.

It was very welcoming owners who showed great hospitality. The breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed learning the history of the house. Very convenient to the Blue bell creamery.

Area pleasant and accessible to shops in town. Management for property friendly and breakfast was excellent. The property offers pool and courtyard with sitting areas it also offers hot tub but was not very clean and the paths were not cleared for safe walking could cleanup around the property. The room was comfortable but shower would run of hot water.

This is a wonderful place to stay. I stayed for two nights along with other family members. The people are nice, and it was a quiet and comfortable place to stay. I appreciated that it was very clean. I plan on going back with my husband sometime soon. One small thing - it's a small business so I totally get it, but they do not ask about dietary restrictions. So you might have to leave out parts of breakfast if you have sensitivities. But it was delicious anyway. Absolutely charming.

Clear directions, clean and welcoming, spacious and private. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub as well. The breakfast was included and fabulous! We are GF and the couple made us something special. So thoughtful.

Great breakfast! Be prepared to spend some time there for it. It’s at 7:30 & is served in courses. Hosts were great. It was a little like staying in a great grandparents home as far as decor. It was cozy though. Bed was comfy and room had a private bath.

We chose this B&B in part because of it's location to the venue we were going to in the evening. The check-in was very easy. An email had been sent to us facilitating our arrival. A packet had been prepared for us and left in a location we found and we simple 'let ourselves in'. No formal check - in was necessary or required. The outdoor pool was very clean and inviting. The room was lovely and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was wonderful and the grounds impeccable.

Absolutely Beautiful and perfect for a couple of days get away. The owners genuinely care about every guest on their property and are always on site for a friendly conversation. Breakfast is fantastic and adds a real home cooked feeling to the stay. Getting the chance to mingle with your neighbors is quite refreshing. Located perfectly in town - extremely close to all the downtown excitement, and a welcome escape when the day’s festivities are done. Will be back over and over again!!

The Far View was a pleasant stay. I think the furniture needs to be updated. The mattress was very hard and the couch appears to be well used. Overall enjoyed the stay and would consider returning.

A beautiful little jungle with a delightful old world embedded in the center. The inn occupies what looks to be an entire block of property, heavily wooded and planted. Rooms are wonderful and are in several different buildings. The pool area and other outdoor relaxing areas are fantastic. The management family are friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were OUTSTANDING. We’ll be back for sure.
