The restaurant service was extremely slow. We paid for underground parking and it was not available one of the days that we paid for. We had to park outside and our car alarm went off because someone tried to break in. On our last day, we left our door locked and the hotel service person that cleaned our room failed to close the door all the way. When we returned in the evening, we realized our room had been left unlocked since it was cleaned with our valuables inside. I was told the manager would contact me about this, but the manager never did. We have stayed at this hotel 3 times. We had good experiences in the past, but it was terrible this year. We will not be back.

Over priced, parking is a nightmare. Front door hard to open, entrance unclean. No concierge, getting luggage in and out was cumbersome. Heating needed servicing when we arrived. Homeless in walkway to downtown eating. Not recommended

Difficult to access because the freight trains block the recommended access. Also, parking is far away from the hotel. Only one working elevator made for a long wait. This was an expensive room that was nice, but very difficult to get to. We just wanted to get back to our room, but a train blocked the road entry.

Hotel is beautiful. you could take nice walks around the area. The parking was a problem. there are 23 spots at the hotel, the rest are 3 blocks away. I was lucky twice but but had a long walk 4 times, once in the rain.

Hotel was clean, staff was professional and kind, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If I had to say what I didn’t like it would probably be parking when underground or directly outside the hotel was at capacity, was a bit of a walk to get from their off site parking to the hotel. Also no stair access, was forced to wait 45 mins in lobby as maintenance worked to get the elevators fixed.

I booked a room with a window view, and it was absolutely perfect. The room was spotless, and the overall stay was incredibly comfortable. Room service was prompt and courteous, and the hotel staff were consistently friendly and helpful. While I do wish breakfast had been included, it didn’t take away from what was truly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. I would highly recommend this hotel—especially for the stunning views it offers. A memorable stay!

The staff were very welcoming and friendly but for the price I paid, I wish the room was a little bit nicer. Upon checking in we got to our room and it smelt funny, like body odour. The room was nothing special and there was no microwave. This was my first time staying in a fancy hotel, so checking in a hotel room that looks just like all the others, was rather disappointing. Also there is little to no parking available.

Arrived late at night. Had to drive to an offsite parking lot, which was less than ideal from a safety perspective. Then, was unaware of the fact that my room would be right next to train tracks. Was not able to sleep the entire night as a train went by every hour.

I was given my room key and went up to my room only to open the door to a room with a husband and wife in it. I went to front desk to report it and was given an "upgrade" to a room with a balcony to which i answered thats handy in northern Ontario in ate november where it also gets was and gets dark by 530pm i checked in just past 6pm...... so not really an upgrade nor made me feel better for the fact i was given a key to someone elses room.

I booked the room through expedia.com for 2 nights stay and the reservation comes with full breakfast for 4 people. I also paid additional fee for the full breakfast and when I check-in they said breakfast were not included in my reservation. Expedia booking advertises the room with full breakfast with additional fee and the hotel staff did not know anything about it. Good thing I took a snapshot of my reservation that shows the full breakfast. The front desk at the hotel said they will honor it and when we went to breakfast the first day there was an issue again and have to explain it all over again with the restaurant manager. It is really frustrating considering the extra fee I paid for breakfast. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were very nice and try to assist me but due to the fact that there seems to be miscommunication in the booking information between expedia and delta marriott, my stay at the hotel became frustrating and stressful instead of enjoyable. It felt like I am trying to get the hotel to honor something that I have already paid for especially that I have to explain it again the next day we went to claim our for breakfast. If you are booking through expedia make sure that you take a snapshot of the reservation details that shows the full breakfast option or else you will have an issue. Expedia and the hotel needs to provide more information about the full breakfast and improve and work out the reservation details transfer, what menu will be included.

Great overall hotel. I only wish they had their restaurant or room service available during the day. They have limited times they have the kitchen open. Not many places in thunderbay are opened during the day between 3-5pm which made finding restaurant foods limited.

We needed a new battery for our car fob. The front desk called Jordan in maintenance. He inspected the fob and then located exactly the necessary battery in his workshop, installed it and all at no charge! Thanks Jordan for a wonderful job! Delta's restaurant was excellent, especially the salmon which I highly recommend.
