CASA MX alameda

Me encanta el lugar, me caen genial los del personal y es en general un sitio muy cómodo. Le falta presión a las regaderas de hasta arriba, pero todo bien. Había un chicle pegado en la esquina de la litera, pero es culpa del marrano que se quedó ahí antes.

Son agua caliente, sin presión en las tuberías, todo un desastre!

Colchones viejos y duros, almohadas malas, sábanas y edrerdones viejos y apestosos, la higiene en los sanitarios es pésima!!!! Los baños están llenos de moho, batallas para que salga agua, y cuando sale no hay caliente….

El personal es muy amable fue atento el chavo Marshall Alexander que me llevo a mi abitasion y la terasa es muy aplia gran ambiente y cosina con lo que se puede nesesitar

Creo que lo que aún podría mejorar es el aspecto de la higiene en la cocina. Entiendo que si bien la convivencia tiene que ver con éso, pues el que los espacios estuvieran sucios.e faltó comida y los utensilios no estaban a la mano hicieron de ésta experiencia algo menos cómoda. Pero los chicos de recepción son divinos y siempre estuvieron predispuestos a ayudar.

Está virtualmente vacío el hostal pero le suben el precio a la noche por los eventos en la ciudad. La propiedad sigue en deterioro y ni siquiera han removido el moho de algunos baños. Está muy descuidado.

The beds are good with full privacy curtains. They don’t include a private lamp however. The electrical outlet in my bunk was loose, so cords fell out too easily. Staff were very friendly. The kitchen and bar area need better signage. The neighbourhood is a bit seedy but I didn’t feel unsafe walking around and it’s not that far from downtown.

Me gusta el hecho de que limpian las habitaciones todos los días y si requieres algo especial, los chicos de recepción siempre están atentos para resolver. Me hospedo frecuentemente en este lugar.

This was definitely not the place to try and get any kind of sleep as they would play weird techno music (not the cool kind of techno) starting very early in the morning, during the week and on weekends. Some of the employees were rude, and they would not talk to you when you would greet them in the morning or at night. Since the place is low budget you do get many interesting characters that stay there, also on a budget so you feel like you have to watch your belongings from thieves. I had a few low cost items stolen, they were inexpensive, but it wasn't the cost it was the act. The only good thing I could find about this place, is that I met some interesting people from different places. And that it wasn't too far from the subway, and one of the main strips in the area. But I also met many people on budgets who were probably looking for help or some kind of come up. I definitely would never stay here again. Horrible experience.

The Hostel was good in general, close to bus and subway stations, it was not a party hostel so there was no noise, rooms where spacious and clean. What really needs improvement is the cleanness of the showers. I stayed there for 3 nights and the floors inside the shower were discusting, old soap, toilet paper and this big chunks/balls of hair on the floor. Took three showers in seperate stalls and everytime the floor was not good.

Aceptable por el costo, falta más limpieza en los baños, y el mobiliario empieza a deteriorarse pero en general bien, solo que cobran aún cuando en la página indicamos que se pagará en el lugar.

They wanted to milk you as much as possible and when you don't spend money there they want you to stay elsewhere. Felt unsafe, unwelcomed. Overheard various racist and homophobic comments. Would never stay there again, unless they hired brand new staff.

It's a party hostel, nothing more, and the people going there are the shady sort. The place is filthy & desolate. COMFORT: The room itself seems fine in photos, but is poorly engineered. Your bed shakes violently every time someone steps within the 16-person room, which is quite often. You get woken up easily. LIGHT: The bed curtains are placed poorly, allowing a wide gap of bright light to enter as people enter the room between 10pm and 3am. Again, waking you up. NOISE: One night, the hostel hosted a party that started at 11:30pm, waking me up entirely. I have professional earplugs, and they were of no use. I also tried earphones & blasting music, but I could still hear them. Also, the hostel supposedly enforces silence from midnight onward, but all they do is say "shhhh" every now and then, but just allow conversation to continue. The sound echoes into your room, which has doors & windows open. HEAT: There is no AC nor fan in the room. Good luck in the Mexican heat. Instead, the door and windows are left open. You couldn't even close the doors if you wanted because you're never given a key, so you'd be locking everyone out. If you close your bed curtains to combat the noise/light issues, the heat issue just gets amplified.

Nos asignaron la habitación “Máximiliano” que está justo en el patio central por lo que se escuchaba demasiado ruido (voces, el timbre, bullicio,etc) habitación bastante amplia pero le hace falta un poco de mantenimiento, las toallas estaban sucias con manchas de no sé cuánto tiempo, podría mejorar

I know it's a hostel so my expectations were accordingly. The route from the subway to the property felt unsafe at night, I was not given a key to the shared room as the were no more keys available, and I had to rely on the staff when re-entering. The floor is made of wood, which is noisy when walking. I mean, if you only need a place to sleep and take a shower for a small price, it's okay, but IMO, the Casa MX hostel near Zocalo is way better.

Habitación ruidosa, personal amable

Fue buena. Creo que el hostal puede tener más lugares de descanso, hay lugares mal aprovechados. Como otro punto de mejora es el nivel de cobertura wifi

El lugar, las instalaciones, el ambiente y la ubicación todo estuvo bien lo que para mí fue una MALA experiencia fue con una persona en especial de recepción la señorita Karina pésima atención al cliente grosera déspota y nunca daba solución a mis requerimientos deberían darle capacitación para que aprenda atender al cliente

Es un hostal muy cómodo, sus ambientes son muy familiares y acogedores, el personal de servicio siempre están atentos a los requerimientos de los huéspedes

The Hostel was good in general, close to bus and subway stations, it was not a party hostel so there was no noise, rooms where spacious and clean. What really needs improvement is the cleanness of the showers. I stayed there for 3 nights and the floors inside the shower were discusting, old soap, toilet paper and this big chunks/balls of hair on the floor. no brinda mucha confianza quedarse a dormir ahí y la zona está fea, el lugar algo descuidado

Es una propiedad con bastante potencial pero le hace falta mantenimiento no es la más limpia, en las habitaciones privadas hacen falta más amenidades, hay demasiado ruido que no descansas bien La zona es bastante insegura por las noches no se les ocurra caminar por ahí por que corren el riesgo de ser asaltados (como en nuestro caso)

Great place to stay for a few days, the staff is very attentive and surroundings all though it's not the prettiest i promise it is quite safe at least in my opinion. The best part is it is located near a public transit station!

El personal muy agradable; las instalaciones muy bien. Estaría bien que las literas tuvieran luz como en el hostal del centro; mi colchón tenía una mancha sospechosa pero con las sábanas se tapaba. Uno que otro huésped vandalizó el lugar con stickers pero nada grave. Lo único que no me encantó fueron los desayunos; lo demás muy bien. 7.5/10

Nunca espero algo del hostal; pero siempre logran decepcionar. Esta vez, bajo la monumental mediocridad de Viridiana Mendoza; un drogadicto agredió físicamente a dos huéspedes en plena madrugada. Vociferaba que solo fue a fumar piedra y que era miembro de “la unión”. El tipo pidió a sus amigos, visiblemente armados, que fueran a ayudarlo. No se puede descansar, no se puede tener un espacio limpio, adecuado o digno, y tampoco se puede estar seguro. Un empleado incluso abusó del perrito y le pintó las orejas, y la cola con pintura de plomo. Es la última vez que me hospedo aquí. Si la cadena MX tiene una pizca de vergüenza, debería reconsiderar si vale la pena conservar a alguien tan inepto administrando su hostal y dejando que pierdan dinero. Voy a extrañar las hamburguesas, los cocteles y a Tyson.
