Prior to our arrival, we messaged with the property and provided time of our arrival since they are not always at the property for check in. Received no response. Their normal check in time is between 10 am and 5 PM, we arrived at 10:30 am and rang the bell, and called the property over and over again. Messaged them through orbitz, texted them, and called and messaged through whatsapp. At 4:30 PM, we finally received a response from the property "hello, sorry i was by the doctor. is all ok? :)" After being out in the cold all day with nowhere to go, we were forced to stay somewhere else. Would strongly advise against booking this place.

So it was an easy 20-30 minute walk to the big attractions and food, which was nice. The inn itself is almost a hybrid hostel/ B+B. So separate bedrooms and showers but there’s a communal kitchen and dining table, and a check in cutoff of 5pm so be mindful if you’re using public transport.

Generally okay, comfy bed, but big note is this is more like an Airbnb and NOT a hotel. Also, as some of the comments mention, the bathroom leaves a lot to be desired. Our shower tiles had quite a bit of mildew and the bathroom smelled foul, we had to keep the door closed while in the room.

Fantastic location. Convenient to everywhere. Very pleasant. Only issue that I wrote I was arriving at 23.00 and miscommunication between property and esite meant they weren't there to open. Needed to wait 30min

The property manager as very helpful on how to get around on taxi and recommended a great place to eat. The room did not come with items for showering, and was provided. No bed cover, only bed sheets are provided. No daily cleaning. The AC made a strange noise/ loud which affected the night sleep. Room was clean. Shared dining area and kitchen available. Close to restaurant and walk to nearby tourist sights. Good location for the price - except the loud AC. :-)

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Tula Inn. Roberto was an incredible host, he worked with us on check in to store our bags for a little while when we arrived early, gave recommendations of places to eat and visit (which ended up leading to some of our favorite memories of the trip), and the location was great! I will definitely be staying again. Very clean, pretty quiet, and we felt safe being just us two girls! 10/10!

Super mooie locatie, TOP personeel heel vriendelijk en helpful. De kamer was heel schoon met een prachtig uitzicht , elke dag werd het opgeruimd en krijgen we schonen handdoeken . En niet te vergeten : de coffee was echt goed 😊. Wij gaan zeker nog een keer terug !!! 💯💯💯☑️

Stayed for one night only. Check-in process was not easy. Very difficult to communicate with someone to make arrangements. The entrance is odd and not well indicated. Room was not very clean. Glad we weren’t staying for more than one night. It’s a low cost for a reason. Location was good though.

great location, Roberto was amazing, couldn’t do enough, only slight negative, should have been 32” tv in the room , ( i get you’re not in rome to watch tv ) but while getting ready it’s handy to have on , we g gf and a14” also the last guests before us,had stolen the remote, sounds like a moan, it’s not it’s just an observation. but on the positive side Trastevere is 5 mins walk , great restaurants and bars , colosseum 15 mins away, pantheon and trevi also 15 mins, would we go back,yes definitely .

The gentleman was very kind and the facilities were nice. Very nice private room overlooking the road. Cute little park across the street and excellent coffee around the corner. Easy access to the sites and mass transit. My wife and I loved the place.

We were on our honeymoon. We enjoyed the bathroom (showerhead was broken however) and the centrality of the location. Didn't enjoy the bed. Staff were 10/10 and even left us a little something to celebrate our wedding. Would stay again

So it was an easy 20-30 minute walk to the big attractions and food, which was nice. The inn itself is almost a hybrid hostel/ B+B. So separate bedrooms and showers but there’s a communal kitchen and dining table, and a check in cutoff of 5pm so be mindful if you’re using public transport.

great location, Roberto was amazing, couldn’t do enough, only slight negative, should have been 32” tv in the room , ( i get you’re not in rome to watch tv ) but while getting ready it’s handy to have on , we g gf and a14” also the last guests before us,had stolen the remote, sounds like a moan, it’s not it’s just an observation. but on the positive side Trastevere is 5 mins walk , great restaurants and bars , colosseum 15 mins away, pantheon and trevi also 15 mins, would we go back,yes definitely .

The location of the property was ideal however due to this, there was a high noise level at night by surrounding restaurants & courtyards which often kept us awake at night!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent stay in Rome! “My stay at this hotel was wonderful. Roberto’s attention and service were truly exceptional — he made everything easy and made us feel very welcome. The hotel is also in a perfect location, very close to all the main attractions in Rome, which made it extremely convenient. Everything was spotless and very clean. Highly recommended!”

Super mooie locatie, TOP personeel heel vriendelijk en helpful. De kamer was heel schoon met een prachtig uitzicht , elke dag werd het opgeruimd en krijgen we schonen handdoeken . En niet te vergeten : de coffee was echt goed 😊. Wij gaan zeker nog een keer terug !!! 💯💯💯☑️

Very good lication. Ro erto is very helpful with details and business information. 4 locks get one into the room, outer doors x3 and room door. Felt very safe and quiet neighborhood. Little fully stocked kitchenette in common area.

While I barely saw my room because I was out being a tourist, I did appreciate how clean it was. The staff was nice. It was semi close to food. It was close to public transportation in the area.

The Tula Inn is in a great location that makes it easy to explore all that the Roma City Center has to offer. What’s not made very clear is that this is a shared/communal living situation. You have your own bedroom/bathroom in a shared house. Instructions are rather unclear for late check in on how to get into the units. Sheets were clearly washed and bed was clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was disgusting and had urine stains throughout the shower. The toilet seat was taped together where it had cracked and the walls were covered in scuffs. Our unit did not have any of the furniture picture in the listing photos outside of the bed/bed frame and storage. Overall not the worst place you could stay, just was not represented accurately in any sense. If cleaned/painted this place has great potential if you don’t care about sharing facilities with others.
