Hotel was close to the beach. The walls were thin so I listened to the ocean all night. Breakfast was good. I got a massage, which was wonderful. Very enjoyable visit.

Everything is perfect at the hotel. They are friendly, respectful and the hotel is very clean. The only bad thing will always be the parking. That would be the worst thing for me. Sometimes you struggle to get your car out or park your car.

The property matters not against the headboard, cold as hell no heating! Power to the elevator and building went out twice for two whole days. Loud music late at night from nearby clubs! Poor room service!

Great location right across from the beach. Hotel was comfortable and quiet.ac worked great and shower was hot.bed was comfortable Many eating options nearby.awesome ice cream and agua fresca eigh across street.many street food vendors across also We didn't try the restaurant but heard good things about it. The elevator does take for ever and steps are pretty steep if you have mobility issues. Overall good stay and quiet Good parking. I think they need an ice machine

The bathroom had a strong odor of sewer coming from the shower drain. The wife and I both developed a headache and upset stomachs. We had to cut our trip short by one day. We will not be returning to this hotel in the future.

The shower is big enough got water. The only thing that I didn't like is the carpet looks dirty and the blankets on top looks with stains of oil or something and the towels are old and smells bad.

El primer día tuvimos que pedir cambio de cuarto, porque las sábanas y fundas sucias y percudidas, un "pelo" en sábanas, el cuarto olía mal. Deberían tener más higiene. Al siguiente día solicitamos cuarto, estaba un poco mejor, sin embargo las almohadas parecían cojines con funda.

Worst experience with a hotel ever !!!!!! We even left one day earlier and transferred to another hote . We couldn’t absolutely not get any sleep, every day with the very lound sound of the night clubs adroit the steet . Second guests right across the corridor threw a party outside out door from 11 pm till 3 am . I called rhe fromt desk may times and nothing was done till 3 am . Definitely we will never stay at this hotel again. Stay away !!!!!!

Our room experience was horrible. The wi-fi didn’t work at all, I called the front desk, they said that they will reset the system but it never worked. There was no hot water, we had to shower with cold water in the morning. The AC did not work at all, it was extremely hot at night to top it off the AC light was ON the whole night, it was like sleeping with the lights on. Our window view was their back stock area, full or toilet paper, mops and cleaning supplies our beds were also very hard. I’m have never left a review before even with bad experience because I don’t like to talk negative instead I love to help business but this was very very upsetting :(

Great location if you want to go to playas Tijuana , place is clean , staff is nice , my only complaint is the bed mattress is hard to sleep in. If you are going with kids and you don’t want the music sound at night ask for a room in the back not in front of the beach.

I have no words to explain how awful night me and my family had last night, I was not able to sleep all night and still had to make a 10hr drive home, room 113 started having a party at around 1:30am, many people in the room having a karaoke night, I called front desk I was told someone will go to talk to them but they continued, they were having loud and inappropriate conversations, I called again around 2:30 am, I heard a staff member knocked their door and talked to them again but they continued with the party, around 3am I went and knock myself and a male opened the door and I asked to please be mindful, we had to leave in a couple of hours we had not Had sleep, he said they were having a good time but they will try to keep it low! They never did, my husband and I also reported it to front desk when we checked out, please please please pay more attention to this type of complaints and try to make accommodations, I suffer from seizures and lack of sleep will trigger them, we are extremely tired trying to get home si ve we had been stopping a lot!

Me asignaron una habitación que estaba ocupada, me volvieron asignar otra habitación y también estaba ocupada, no es aceptable que el hotel no tenga la información de qué habitación está libre u ocupada, los huéspedes se molestaron ya que tenían la llave y al abrir estaba ocupada, fue frustrante y molesto tanto para los huéspedes y nosotros tener que pasar por una situación de este estilo, además tengo una lesión que tengo que utilizar andadera y el estar moviéndome de piso a piso fue muy molesto….

Great stay, no complaints. Across the street from the beach, food nearby and I didn’t have any issue catching an uber or didi ride. Gio and Alfredo helped me and did a great job. They provided me with some great recommendations. I had a nice room with a view of the beach. Everything was clean and in order. I slept like a baby! Actually slept more than I wanted to I was so comfortable. I saw people talk about noise, It’s Tijuana so yeah there is outside noise, it’s on the beach and to be expected. I loved it. A nice experience to the Mexican culture. I’d stay here again when I’m Tijuana. A

Super friendly staff, a really great restaurant, and the ocean view rooms have an excellent view of the ocean. They accommodated my every wish, and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. If you're going to the playas of Tijuana, I can't think of a better place to stay.

The property is ok but the front desk personnel was totally tactless, when saying that if they found blood or any other body fluid on blankets or towels they would let me pay for them as they need to buy new ones. Before me there were more guess checking in and neither of them were warned about it as I described. As soon as I entered the room given to me I checked the linen. The bed spread was burned, it was changed for a second one stained from bleach. The towels …. Well not looking good. The housekeepers tried to do a good job but nothing help me feel better. I just stayed because I paid in advanced and that was my first time in Tijuana. (My last time in Jatay Hotel)

The staff was excepcional. Very attentive and caring. The hotel is extremely clean and well cared for. The top floor dining was terrible and the food quality is highly recommended. Unfortunately, the location made me feel unsafe and the beach area had too much trash left behind by the visitors. I feel it was a sign of disrespect for a beautiful location to enjoy a day at the beach.

Convenient Location near the border. good parking. Updated bathroom in the top floor room that we upgraded to. Originally the interior room we were assigned had no windows. Only to a hallway, but no outdoor windows. The hallway didn’t smell good so we upgraded to a room that actually had windows to the outdoors facing the ocean for an extra $23. The hotel is right on the waterfront. Steps to the beach. There are no mini fridges in the entire place. They do have an ice machine, but we didn’t use it. Bed was firm but comfortable and didn’t sag or feel old. Sheets were clean and air-conditioning worked great. Overall decent hotel for the price.

The Hotel Jaytay was an unexpected stay. It was across the street from the beach. In the middle of all the action. Music galore and the beach scene was very touching. Families just chilling. Venders on the beach along with the music with Tubas. The hotel was clean and the staff were superb. The underground park was sparse but they had plenty of parking in another secure lot next door. The bathrooms were spotless and the shower was amazing. All and all, the staff from the parking attendant, bell hop and front desk were kind and friendly`. They didn't roll their eyes when I couldn't speak Spanish that well.

The property itself was clean and well located. Tons of places to walk to. The only caveat is that the rooms on the south side are next to all the music and noise. And on the weekend it goes on late into the night. Otherwise it was a great stay. The restaurant upstairs has good breakfast.

It has a great location, right across the street from the beach, shops and restaurants. Dont plan to sleep cause you can hear all the local entertainment. The restaurant if super slow we canceled our order and left. The beds and pillows are hard, good if you like that and the toilet seats dont stay up.
