Great area with lots of restaurants and very walkable. The hotel was very attractive and updated however the TV’s were apparently all dim and nothing could be done about the poor visual and the lights were also dim around the room and several lamps were broken that could not be replaced because they were attached to the beds. The breakfast and common spaces like the lobby, pool and fitness room were great. Overall, we had a great stay except for the TV and lightening issues that could not be fixed.

Nice modern accommodations for a reasonable price walkable and we got to bring our golden retriever puppy for an extra fee, only thing I would have liked to know was that it would be an extra fee to bring our puppy when initially booking

I was so disappointed that the pool was closed during my stay. When I asked if they could compensate for lack of access to the amenity by offering free parking, they said no. So basically I didn't get what I paid for and was really disappointed.

After staying at this location a few times, this recent visit will be our last. In a nutshell: 1. They are pet-friendly, and the Folks nextdoor to us left their two dogs alone in their room for 4 hours (6 a.m. - 10 a.m.). The dogs barked and barked and barked and barked, and the front desk could do nothing about it - they hadn't taken the guests' phone numbers. 2. We left our room at 10 a.m. and didn't come home until 5:30 p.m. After 7.5 hours, the room was not cleaned. 3. Came home from dinner, and the television service did not work in our room. 4. Next morning, BOTH coffee machines in the cafe were out-of-service for breakfast. I had left a message for the manager about these items before checkout, but no response. And, upon checkout, we were told that bc we booked through Expedia, there would be no compensation/discount. Thoroughly dissatisfactory service. Time to find a new place in Decatur/Atlanta to stay.

The property was great except the overwhelming smell of cleaning products. They could not be avoided and permeated everything and kept me awake at night because of the strong smells. It is actually a deterrent to staying there and we will be checking into a Courtyard for the remainder of our trip. It wasn’t just my room as we had two and the halls also were overpowering.

The electric outlets nearest the bed are unreliable. The plug for a CPAP machine would not stay plugged in. If I didn’t travel with an extension cord we would have had a very bad night.

The hotel is new and very attractive. It’s located in the heart of Decatur, close to shopping and an abundance of cool restaurants and bars. The staff is pleasant, the rooms are immaculate, the beds are comfortable, and there’s endless hot water. I was disappointed that I didn’t have an in-room safe, which is pretty standard these days, so be prepared to keep your valuables with you at all times!

Property is very good. Staff is pleasant and helpful. The buffet while varied is very simple. The biggest issue is the Wall Mounted Air Conditioner in the room. Good luck sleeping, talk about loud. Newly renovated property / rooms and as always they cheap out on the AC units. If AC is important to you check other properties and verify if they have wall mounted units or actual HVAC.

Young man who checked us in had zero southern hospitality. Only one elevator working and it was slow and quite creaky. Shower doors very loud. Bathroom barn door cute but no lock and would roll back open.

The room was very good indeed, and the service was fair, too. Breakfast was minimal, but not a terrible quality. One thing that can drastically change your mood is the attitude that you may receive from some of the receptionists. In my case, the lady at the desk when I was checking out showed a nasty attitude. Plus, she refused to give me a receipt of payment, because she said I had booked the hotel through a third party. This didn't make any sense to me. I paid to the hotel, so why can't I ask for a receipt?! I didn't have time to argue with her, nor did I wish to engage with a single-digit IQ, but I hope the management considers this review seriously.

I checked in on Friday, and on Saturday someone actually walked into our room because the front desk marked me as a "no show" and checked in a guest to our room. There was no one at the desk in the evening. We called the front desk and asked for extra towels and no one actually delivered any. Terrible experience overall.

Our stay at the Hampton Inn has been probably one of the best experiences I’ve enjoyed at a hotel in quite a while. Check-in process was quick and easy, every employee interaction was pleasant and positive, our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the spacious shower was plenty of hot water and pressure. Our complimentary breakfast had far more options than expected and the staff were coming out of the kitchen to engage with guests and check on food and cleanliness. The little details all add up and I just wanted to share that they didn’t go unnoticed. Happy New Year!

This stay was problematic from the get-go. I have mobility issues, so having to lug my own bags was not fun. Front desk staff, for most part, was lackluster. Our TV had a blue cast the entire time + when i talked to the front desk staff, i got shoulder shrugs. Was like listening to the radio with dark figures visible behind blue clouds. Repeated efforts to contact the manager, named Chase, failed. I'll be calling. Beds too high. Coffeemaker sucked. The paper cups were horrible. I could go on. Overrated. I overpaid. Would NEVER stay there again!!!

Clean property and very friendly staff. Kitchen staff provided great service even refilling waffle batter 5 minutes before the breakfast period ended. Front desk staff was exceptional and held our baggage in locked area after our checkout until later in the day when our flight was leaving.

Although I only gave the staff and service a two above, I wanted to clarify that everyone I interacted with was both nice and helpful. However, when I tried to check out, there simply was no staff anywhere. There was a sign on the desk saying they were away. I had a question and tried the calling the number, etc., but was unable to reach anyone for quite some time. Eventually I gave up and simply left. I do not fault the staff that were there, but am assuming that the hotel is simply understaffed. It was an odd experience.

Wonderful trip except the breakfast area didn’t have high chairs. Listed as family friendly, high chairs would’ve sure helped with two little toddlers. The staff members were wonderful, always friendly and helpful. We had an electrical issue and it was corrected promptly.

The front desk staff was super friendly and kind. The breakfast has many options and an automatic waffle maker, yummy. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the hotel, but we really enjoyed the welcoming feeling we recieved from the front desk staff. In addition, the digital key access to the room was so convenient, we didn’t have to carry around the room card. We simply tap the lock with our phones and the door opened. Thanks for the modern technology.
