Stayed 2 nights

After paying more than normal for a weekend reservation, parking was an additional $35 a day, was completely off site,( like on a different block) inconvenient, and very confusing having to constantly get tickets and have them activated at the desk every time you come and go. The bar /restaurant was considerably over priced for what it was and mediocre as well . But, that's not unusual . I'm no stranger to luxury hotels and usually try not to choose a chain, but Grand Rapids doesn't have much to offer in the independent/boutique hotel arena. That being said , it was in a convenient location with lots of walkable sites around, it was very clean , and the staff was friendly.

No valet on a Saturday, no parking at the hotel. When you are from out of town, not great
