We had a great experience at the Residence Inn - Egan Minnesota. Stayed 3 nights to visit our daughter and enjoy the Minnesota State Fair! Clean room, friendly staff, awesome breakfast! Did not use the gym or pool but they both looked great. Nice outdoor area with grill and fire pit😍

We could hear ppl loud in the room above us. The sofa bed mattress was paper thin and in bad condition. The shower head sprayed awkward because of hard water build up. The good: they offer breakfast, the amenities were great, the room was clean and all the appliances worked. They have an heated indoor pool and gym.

Very nice hotel. My boys enjoyed the pool and the basketball court. Staff was very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The pet fee far too high; I guarantee you my three boys could potentially cause more mess or damage than my Golden Retriever ever would. I do appreciate them being a pet friendly hotel, I just think $100.00 fee is a bit pricey.

We really enjoyed our stay. However, there was still garbage in the kitchen garbage can. The shower hadn’t been cleaned and wrappers from the previous guest’s shampoo and soap was still in there. Breakfast was good with many options. We also loved the pool!

Clean, right down to the tub. Quiet for the most part, only downside was our last day we were woken around 6am to a dog left in the room next door that definitely didn't want to be left alone. Nothing against the hotel, though, as it's nice to see furry friends through the hallways! The suite we were in was quite luxurious. Breakfast was far better than most seen, plenty of options and everything was fresh. The best part of the stay... was the staff! We really wanted to leave a review for the staff. Everyone we saw during our weekend stay greeted us with a warm welcome. I'm not great with remembering names; Nicholas, I think, at the desk, whom we saw most of our stay. We would give that young man a bonus for being so genuine in service. There was also a woman at the desk that was so kind to our 4 year old son. Wholesome interactions that are sometimes a rare find for parents of young children. We will be coming back any time we need a staycation! Thank you everyone.

The property seemed to have been remodeled recently and things like the landscaping, lobby, pool, and the suite appliances were very nice. Unfortunately, the beds were uncomfortable including the linens, mattress, and pillows. The fold-away bed was horrible and you’ll need a visit to the chiropractor after using it! Some of the toiletries were empty. The room allowed lots of external noise including the nearby highway or other guests to enter.

All 6 nights there were kids running and jumping above us. AT ALL HOURS!! There were 2-3 different families during that time. We could not relax or sleep well in space!! For a newer build and high rating, this was NOT expected. IF we would stay at this property again, it would be on the top floor and away from busy street. Further there was conflicting info provided by front desk staff related to extending our stay by arriving a day early. The email from front desk sent after Expedia was comical — addressed to wrong person and wrong check in date. Attention to detail and resolving noisy neighbors was week. We had to abide by the pet policy but our dog was quiet while neighbors were not!

The pull-out bed is not very comfortable, and the tissue holder was broken. But, overall, it was very clean, and I loved the customer service and the area. If you’re not using the pull-out bed, it’s a great stay, but if you need to use it, you will be in some serious pain.

Very comfy suite. Nice furniture, good space, very clean. The breakfast, basketball court, and complimentary coffee were all nice touches. My only complaint is the roll-out couch wasn't comfy, and they supplemented us with an air mattress to help, but that had a leak. Aside from the sleeping issues for our 3rd person, it was a fantastic place and stay.

From asking to check in early, to request for room location - the front desk was helpful with all people that were working. Breakfast was good, pool area nice, and location is right by many great walking paths. Address location in Eagan puts you within 1/2 hour of almost all directions in the Cities. Quiet, clean rooms.

Absolutely fabulous! Would stay here again if I’m ever in the area again. Pros: breakfast is delicious- cooked food, great variety, yummy waffles, great coffee; we had a room with a separate bedroom (loved!); clean, amazing workout room; great pool, beautiful outside sitting area with fireplace, night lights and a grill that you can use, full kitchen to save on eating out, staff was so kind and helpful, beautiful flowers around the property, rooms are quiet and very clean, pull out couch extremely comfortable (according to my daughter), right next to an ALDIs where I went and grabbed food one day for dinner. Cons: the doors are pretty loud when you leave your room and when you have sleeping kids that’s hard to get out in the morning quietly, no hot tub (but the pool is not super cold so that’s great!), the kitchen needs a few more utensils (they only give you 4 of everything) and limited cooking pans, but we made it work. The price - for a 5 night trip it’s pretty expensive, but it is a Marriott - and you expect that and great service and amenities and that’s what we got. I travel quite a bit and am a bit of a hotel snob and I have to say this one is well worth the extra few bucks. I posted a picture of us enjoying an evening outside on their beautiful patio.
