This property was extremely clean, check in was smooth, the staff was friendly and it was pet friendly! I was only staying for 1 night because I was just in town for a cousins party. The surrounding area was very quiet as well as wide roads. This will be my go to choice of accommodation for all future stays I have in the Chula Vista/San Diego area. When i booked it, I did not realize that the breakfast was complimentary as well. They had a wide selection of choices for breakfast and it even tasted great. I was very satisfied with my stay and I hope to come back soon.

Staff were very friendly. Hotel was nicely decorated and brightly lit. Parking felt safe and well-lit. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Beds and pillows were surprisingly comfortable! We traveled here with family and the kids were very happy. Especially with breakfast! Plenty of options, including waffle-making station.

Front desk staff was friendly and appreciated the easy check in process. Plenty of parking and nice that it's included. Did find a hair on the towels but nothing to throw a fit over. Enjoyed the breakfast as well. If i ever find myself on that area again, would definitely stay here again

Weather was raining but found several entrances to the hotel near the elevator. Liked that they offer free coffee or tea though out the day near the lobby. Nice clean rooms

Staff super nice, cool fireplace. We got room away from elevators so it was uber quiet. Clearly marked smoking areas. The pool looked nice and the grounds are kept clean. What a deal for the 4th of july, breakfast included. I like that its tucked away, dont like too much traffic. Great experience.

Very clean and quiet. All employees were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice with multiple choices. The room was well equipped with multiple plugs for all of our electronics. The TV was intermittent and channel choices were very small. The bed was very hard. The toliet was too low for senior citizens and there were no grab bars to help. The grab bar in shower was unattached at the bottom, otherwise the shower was well equipped.

Stay was wonderful. Hotel property was clean all around -from the outside areas of patio, pool, and walkways. Also, the inside of hotel lobby area, hallways, and dining area. Stay was enjoyable and nice. Staff was always around and easy to ask for assistance if needed. Only negative thing I can say about our stay is we didn't stay many days! That was on our end but overall our stay was wonderful and location was away from busy area so that was a nice change of scenery for us. Keep up the great work!

Pointing out a couple of issues. Check in was easy, room was what I was expecting, being I have stayed at Hamptons before. Breakfast on Saturday was ok, not what Ive experienced before at the Hampton's. Issue 1, When my room was cleaned on Saturday. The towels and wash cloths were taken but not replaced. Not nice when coming in late and wanting to get cleaned up. Issue #2, Whoever cleaned the room left a trail of sticky stuff on the entrance floor into the room and down the center of the bathroom, we used the hand towels to clean that up. On Sunday, no cleaners, no towels! I had to go down to the check in to get them. While down in the lobby I needed to use the rest room. The rest room wasn't cleaned; there was no paper in any of the stalls or Seat protectors. It seemed as if the crew takes weekends off ? After all this and more I would still stay at the Hamptons just not this one!

Room fridge had bad smelling rotten food in left in it. The front desk hotel guy came up and put it in a ttash bag but the room smelled bad for the next 20 to 30 minutes .

Love everything about this hotel. Staff were super friendly. Breakfast was great. Pool was clean kids had a great time. Room was excellent ice cold AC big TV with Netflix and other apps. Everything was very clean. Free tea and coffee anytime. We had a great 2 day stay.

Pros: This is a very nicely updated Hampton Inn with new furnishings and decor. Very clean, spacious lobby and rooms. The included breakfast had all of the usual items plus a few extras like breakfast burritos which was nice. Cons: The check in was slowed down due to an issue with a guest checking in ahead of us. There seemed to be at least 3 staff members involved with that which maybe at least 1 could have been diverted to assist those waiting. Also, there appeared to be only 1 elevator working, which slowed those down quite a bit. Overall, neither of the cons were a big deal, and we would stay here again.

Wonderful place overall but there was a very loud groaning sound in our room which I initially thought was from machinery outside/next door. Turns out it appears it was the A/C in our room and it kept me up a large portion of the night. And I’m a deep sleeper. I was told by staff that management would make good by giving me points or similar but was never contacted by a Manager. I still am giving a good rating overall but that’s really poor customer service for an otherwise nice place.

Staff was nice and helpful, room was really nice and beds were comfy. We enjoyed the breakfast for the time we were there. Overall experience was great! I liked that there was a set check-in and check-out and they gave you until midnight to check-in.

Disturbing heavy guests on the top floor. Very noisy. The younger people Running upstairs. The ceiling felt like vibrating. Big people should be accomodated on the first floor. Specially if they are under 30 yrs old. Elephants go on the 1st. Floor.

We appreciated the free parking. My only complaint is that the bathroom door is a sliding door and doesn't lock. No privacy, especially when you have small children. I would have loved to lock the bathroom door. Or even close it all the way without it opening up on its own.

I had a problem with my TV. But the stuff was great about trying to be helpful. I left with a really bad headache and I needed to buy some pain reliever and the gal that worked the front desk was so kind that she actually ended up just giving it to me because she wanted to make up for the inconvenience but I was having the staff is really great and I really appreciated them.

We arrived at 2:15 and were told our room wouldn't be ready until 3pm the official check in time. We were waiting in the pool area for the room. After checking several times, our room was ready at 3:45. We suspect they gave our room to others because they had a big conference they were checking in. Our room key didn't work after we got back late that night (midnight) and the night shift couldn't fix it. We sat in the hallway for over an hour waiting for them to figure out the issue! When we checked in there was one staff member that was over the top dramatic and so rude. The rudest person I have encountered in public service. The shampoo and conditioner bottles in the bathroom were empty. My friend works for a major resort in San Diego and said this staff was the worst she has ever seen and the hotel itself is very poorly run.

I was placed in a handicapped room. It was so far from elevator that I could not walk to breakfast. Asked front desk to have someone bring food to me. Couldn’t or wouldn’t do it. Asked for clean towels, was told housekeeper had gone home. Room phone did not work. Could not reach front desk. Called on my cell and was on hold for over five minutes. Offered to move me four doors closer to elevator. Still too far for me.

They tried to put us in a room with two queens claiming there were no king rooms available. I showed them my reservation, insisted on the king and eventually a second clerk worked it out. So clearly they were treating us as a lower priority to other guests.

We have stayed at this hotel several times and have always been happy. This time we were a little disappointed because we were supposed to get our room cleaned every other night if you stay for 3 or more nights and that never happened. We needed more towels and our trash was overflowing. I had even called the front desk asking if we were on the list to be cleaned that day and they told me yes but it never got done. That is the only bad thing that happened this time around. So we had to go downstairs to get our towels because housekeeping was gone for the night and so was the supervisor. The front desk did try to make up for it to us by giving us some water bottles and snacks which we appreciated.

Alexander was amazing! We drove in from Las Vegas and got into San Diego earlier than expected. We were able to do an early check in with no added fee and this place is pet friendly 🙏 breakfast was amazing as well! Will be returning for sure.

Nice room. Beds were comfortable. We had to unplug the phone since it was flashing red and we didn't know how to turn it off. There was only one chair that had a back and it was at the desk. not a high-quality chair. There was plenty of room for another chair with a back. As an older person I had to sit in the bed a lot. Shampoo container in the shower was empty. We always travel with shampoo, so it didn't affect us too much. Breakfast was mediocre at best. It will sustain life but without much flavor to it. One morning had an egg-white center with a yellow yoke-looking ring. Meat was pork sausage link with no flavor. Because of the location they will always be busy but if they had to rely on breakfast to bring in the customers they'd be hurting. Lobby and foyer were very nice looking and modern. Staff was very courteous and helpful.
