We stayed 2 nights for a music festival. Hotel is in a nicely renovated old downtown building with a free city parking lot across the street. Walking distance from Blues Museum and Ground Zero Blues Club. Area around the hotel is kind of rundown with not a lot of people walking around the streets at night but it felt safe enough. Hotel felt kind of like a large bed & breakfast in that it has a shared kitchen and a self-service bar in the lobby and there’s lots of opportunities to get to know the other guests and manager/owners. We would stay there again.

Honest, it was great. The accommodations appeared to me to be brand new or just renovated. Extremely clean. Room great. Slept great. Temperature great. Met some people in the lobby I doubt I would have achieved elsewhere. Location is ideal for attractions. Walked where I wanted to go. Parking simple. Interesting concept. Self check in which worked fine for me. Hotel felt quiet even tho there were a number of people staying. Rooms won’t be to everyone’s taste but I liked and enjoyed my stay. One point of note: if you have luggage rooms on first floor don’t have lift access and the stairs are steep. Wouldn’t recommend if you have heavy luggage as I did. Hotel does have rooms on ground floor. Easy to walk around historic area and parking is right across the street.

Eclectic. All you need without the trappings - no tv, sparse Provençal with high end necessities, free parking beside hotel, 24/7 Open bar and kitchen, left to the honesty of guests. Perfect location to visit all of historic Clarksdale - the amazingly low cost only icing on the cake. Most delighted, delighted meeting international travelers of all ages. We’ll go back for sure.

Imagine your rich uncle is traveling & you're staying in his mansion. That's what this place is like. Rooms are minimalist & the bed was the best I've ever slept in. So comfy & quiet I slept a full 8 hours. Whaaat?! BONUS: A huge common sitting area, a serve yourself house bar (you handwrite your own tab) & a full kitchen. Love this because it opens the chance to chat with other guests if you choose. You're not holed up in a room unless you want to be. Everything is super close & walk-able. Parking is immediately across the street & you can see your car from the lobby. There's a convenient unloading zone right immediately out front. One of the absolute cleanest places I've ever stayed. Met the owner as she was cleaning the rooms herself. IKR? This was my 1st self check-in but the owner was in total contact & available if I needed anything. Love the experience & the hotel. I travel a lot & this spot is now my #1 favorite.

Travelers Hotel in Clarksdale is an amazing place. The rooms have so much character and are spotless. The community area on the first floor is like visiting someone's home. We arrived around 5pm and guests were enjoying Happy Hour - instead of that uncomfortable 'new kid' feeling, it felt more like entering 'Cheers' - everyone was so welcoming and warm. Fabulous bathroom (Malin + Goetz products - yeah!). Best night of sleep yet on this trip - pillows, bed, linens all added to the good rest. The location is perfect for visiting blues clubs in Clarksdale. Highly recommend -- Can't wait to return!

AWESOME!! If your looking for a great experience book this hotel. It is in and older building converted into a hotel in Clarksdale, MS. The rooms are large and clean. However, there are none of the static distractions like chain hotels. There are no stairs to the second floor and no tvs in the rooms which affords for a quiet stay. The beds are clean and comfortable. If you want a quiet and restful hotel while in the area this is it.

This hotel is targeted to a specific market. If you’re a tech-oriented, limited interaction person who likes a ‘hipster’ jibe, then you might really like this place. I was texted access codes and arrived and departed what felt like an empty hotel. The owner was there briefly in the afternoon, but that was it. Some old fruit was in a bowl downstairs and there was a really good high-tech self-brew coffee machine. The area around the hotel looks REALLY sketchy, although I didn’t have any problems. Since I was there on a Monday night, almost nothing was open and the whole town felt desolate. The hotel was clean and impeccably kept, but it just wasn’t a good fit with what I look for in a hotel.

Traveler’s is absolutely the place to stay in Clarksdale for Blues Trail tourists. It’s an easy walk to the Blues Trail Museum, several top blues clubs, and some really legit diners. Great parking. It’s the real deal. Travelers is a boutique hotel and a little quirky, but in a good way for adventurous tourists. Be aware there isn’t always someone on duty at the front desk. Travelers will send you an email with codes to the entrance and your room. It worked great for us, just be ready to use your phone email to get in, especially if you arrive at an odd time. If you’re familiar with using your phone for emails/texts you’ll be fine. Would definitely stay there again.

Travelers Hotel in Clarksdale is an amazing place. The rooms have so much character and are spotless. The community area on the first floor is like visiting someone's home. We arrived around 5pm and guests were enjoying Happy Hour - instead of that uncomfortable 'new kid' feeling, it felt more like entering 'Cheers' - everyone was so welcoming and warm. Fabulous bathroom (Malin + Goetz products - yeah!). Best night of sleep yet on this trip - pillows, bed, linens all added to the good rest. The location is perfect for visiting blues clubs in Clarksdale. Highly recommend -- Can't wait to return!

We stayed 2 nights for a music festival. Hotel is in a nicely renovated old downtown building with a free city parking lot across the street. Walking distance from Blues Museum and Ground Zero Blues Club. Area around the hotel is kind of rundown with not a lot of people walking around the streets at night but it felt safe enough. Hotel felt kind of like a large bed & breakfast in that it has a shared kitchen and a self-service bar in the lobby and there’s lots of opportunities to get to know the other guests and manager/owners. We would stay there again.

Honest, it was great. The accommodations appeared to me to be brand new or just renovated. Extremely clean. Room great. Slept great. Temperature great. Met some people in the lobby I doubt I would have achieved elsewhere. Location is ideal for attractions. Walked where I wanted to go. Parking simple. Capuchino/Latte machine in lobby with other beverages available. It's plush.

I wish I could give it more stars. The place was just right for me. All the amenities were there for their guests. They have a kitchen with coffee, cereal and fruit with milk and creamer. The living room area is really relaxing with alot of seating and interesting books available to read. There is a dining room table to eat. My room was very comfortable and the bathroom too. I will tell you, the pillows were exceptional. I plan to buy them when I get home. They are flat and perfect for people with cervical neck issues. Also, the location is walking distance to everything. There are no staff on the premises all day, but there is a number to reach them if you have any issues. You are given a code to enter the building and also a code for your individual room. Its set up very well and as a single woman traveling, I felt 100% safe. It was also great to meet the other guests coming and going. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Clarksdale. The free parking lot is right across the street.
