Hampton Inn By Hilton Ocoee Orlando

Upon arrival, my daughter got in the shower and when she was stepping out of the shower, she looked down and there was orange/red throw up on the side of the toilet at the bottom of the base (it wasn’t any of ours), so I had to call the front desk Manager to come and clean it, he didn’t want to, but he was very gracious and cleaned it for us. He offered to put us in another room, but my granddaughter had already unpacked all of our stuff into this room. Then, we were going use the coverlet on top of the bed, but there was a stain on it and I’m not sure if it was blood or liquid so we threw those off the bed and luckily there was a blanket in the top of the closet that we used. The microwave smelled like something had been burnt in it and when I put a cup of liquid in it, it started flaming up, so I quickly took it out and cleaned it off and left the plate on the top of the dresser and told the front office staff. The property itself is newer and very nice. I really just think it’s the cleaning crew not paying attention to the details. When I checked out, I told the front desk manager and the maintenance man was standing there and heard everything and said he was going to check it out. I told them if they don’t replace the microwave they’re going to have a fire in the building because it really smelled every time we would use it like it was burning. The front desk manager offered to give me points on my account,,I’m not even sure if I have an account. Breakfast was good

It had been a while since I had stayed at a Hampton Inn. Their quality has not diminished during my absence. The room was big enough, the A/C functional and responsive, the breakfast hours were relaxed and consistent (not tailored to businessmen during the week and slightly more relaxed on the weekend, but 6-10 every day). I noted that the furniture was designed to make it difficult to leave stuff behind, i.e., checking the room for left-behind items was accomplished quickly and easily -- no crawling under beds, or opening countless nooks and crannies. This was also my first time renting an electric car, and the availability of a charger at the hotel was a big plus.

The hotel is very nice . I will stay there again. My next trip to Orlando.
