Nice little cabin walking distance from margaritas a great mexican restaurant Friendly staff, breakfast at American was great. Check-in was easy. Pond area was a nice touch but would be nice if someone would clean up a bit- there was broken glass and a knife randomly by the play area

This property was nice, but I was very disappointed to find out there is No Pool, they have a key to the Rec center when someone else doesn't have it and if it is open swim, after noon. I feel that should be more clear on the reservation. I also do not feel I should have to request my room to be cleaned.

Misleading and Uncomfortable – Filing an Insurance Claim This campsite was advertised as a serene retreat by a beautiful river, but it was a disappointing letdown. The cabins sit by a mucky pond behind a hotel parking lot, surrounded by litter and debris in the so called 'campground'. A strong chemical odor inside made it hard to breathe, even after airing out. Other guests were leaving, equally let down by the false advertising. I had to check out shortly after arriving to find another place. I’m filing an insurance claim with photos of the unkempt area. Look elsewhere for a peaceful stay—this isn’t it.

Pond was nice to look at and it was lovely to sit outside but very noisy with highway traffic. Breakfast was not great and I do not recommend. There is NO pool on sight or nearby. At the front desk they said they would provide a key fob for the local rec center but they only ‘had one and the people they gave it to never brought it back’. Tons of trash in property and in the parking lot.

We really loved the individual cabins. The only thing that brought the rating down was the area around the pond kind of needed picked up, but that could be a challenge with wind blowing trash in from the surrounding areas. Cabins were nice, breakfast nice, staff friendly. We would not hesitate to stay again!

Check in went well and then we experienced our “cabin”. As you walk towards the row of six cabins there is trash everywhere, discarded men’s undershorts, excrement. The cabin itself was filthy, see pics, and many things broken inside. This establishment is overall dirty and upsetting. The laundry facility smells rank and the breakfast that we heard so much about was low quality carbs and coffee. This property has so much potential to be lovely with the lake behind it. Instead (see pics) there are encampments with human excrement beside the “playground” area.

The only thing that brought the rating down was the area around the pond kind of needed picked up, but that could be a challenge with wind blowing trash in from the surrounding areas. Cabins were nice, breakfast nice, staff friendly. We would not hesitate to stay again!
