Richmond Hotel Premier Kyoto Ekimae

Wow. The breakfast was amazing. So many tasty Japanese foods. The room was compact but clean clean!! The staff was delightful. Great location near Kyoto station. Would definitely recommend it.

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at! Convenient location, 5 minutes walk to the train station. Clean room with separate shower and bathtub and a small separate room for the toilet, Access to a broad range of toiletries easily accessed in the lobby. Breakfast was ideal: A buffet with high-quality options of both Japanese and western styles. Very friendly staff. Evening happy hour with free sake and variety of wine! There’s even ice cream and sweets served in the afternoon, also free, an added bonus and a nice gesture! Will stay again if traveling Japan again. Definitely recommended!

Loved the room and wish I could have stayed longer. The location, amenities, and breakfast were all great. Will definitely be staying here again when I visit Kyoto. Also if you want to do laundry, you can only do very small loads because their machines are wash & dry in 1. Meaning if you put too much it will not dry. The limit is very low as well so anything over 5 tshirts or maybe 2 jeans and a sweater might be too much and won't dry. There is a 10min coin laundry nearby though.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are great and very clean. Good location with nic places to eat nearby.
