Property is very nice, plenty of parking with electric car charging stations, clean, and smells good

Liked everything about the property, but didn't like not knowing about paying for parking.

New hotel with modern decorum and room was very clean and ready for use. Beds were comfortable and A/C worked perfectly. Outdoor pool was really nice, minus the temperature due to the recent rain. Towels were provided and linens in the room were nice and big. The walk-in closet was wonderful and very spacious.

We arrived early (before check-in) on Thursday and was told the rooms were not clean. No problem, we were early so we left for some lunch and light sightseeing. Came back around 3:45pm and only one of our 2 rooms was ready. Official check-in is at 3pm. Breakfast on Friday was blah - sausage patties were completely overcooked/overheated. Breakfast on Sat/Sun was far better and more robust. Pool was out of commission for 2 days of our stay, which we were not informed about upon arrival. Also, housekeeping is on an every other day schedule - maybe we missed the notice in the room, but would have been nice to know.

Alot of parking but no cameras around in parking lot. They dont seem to care if anything would or should happen to your car. Ive seen reviews of breakins and luckily our car was fine but made us uneasy.

Comfortable and spacious rooms, good location. Functional gym. Don’t think the need to charge for parking given the area and cost of rooms.

This was a great location to use when on vacation. The room was clean. I loved the sitting area inside of the bedroom. The beds were comfortable. I wanted to use the gym but they were doing remodeling when I came. I wish I knew before hand because I wanted to workout but that is the only not so good thing I have about this hotel. Staff was amazing and nice. The hotel was close a lot of things. No more than maybe a 5 - 6 minute drive to stores and shops.

Good sized rooms, clean, decent gym, convenient location.

We chose this hotel because it was close to Carowinds, but cheaper than the other SpringHills on the Carowinds grounds. It was perfect! Breakfast was tasty. The room was in great condition. Nice and spacious. And the best news was when we came back to get our suits to go to the waterpark on Monday, the pool had finally opened, so we skipped the waterpark and enjoyed the pool all to yourselves.

The only thing I would mention is that the parking lot does get packed and you have to park around the back. But that’s about it. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Property and staff were nice, however our rooms were not cleaned. Lots of misc. items paper, bottle caps, bandaid wrappers on the floor. We did notify staff, they sent a member to "Look" at it, She determined it did need to be cleaned and said someone would be up shortly. They never arrived. WE did notify them and the next day was told they "cleaned the room instead of a refresh. Bottle caps and bandaid wrappers remained on floor.

Room was not clean. Sheets were dirty and had stains on them. Mattress to trundle had stains as well. Mold in the bathroom on floor outside shower. Shampoo dispenser was broken off shower wall and laying in the shower when we walked into the room. No hand soap left in bathroom to wash your hands. Molding missing on bathroom walls.

Everything was clean ! I recommend staying here if you looking for something nice and affordable

At my stay one of the pillow cases had some many stains on it I couldn’t believe someone would put that pillow case on a pillow I went to the front desk to show the clerk she didn’t care all she did is write what room is was in so she can have someone remove the pillow case no apologies, no sorry for the inconvenience nothing. Normally Springhill Suites are really nice but this one in Charlotte. Southwest is a no go

The first thing i noticed upon walking into my room, 234, was an acrylic fingernail on the floor. One of the most concerning things that bothered me was the lock didnt work on the door. Besides that, staff was great, breakfast good, and variety of stores nearby.

Very clean, spacious rooms. Beds were very comfortable. Rooms had everything you need. Will be using Springfield Suites again!

Nice location. Modern style property. I did not like that our sheets were dirty upon arrival, leading us to believe they were not changed after the previous guest. Also the refrigerator did not work at all. This was an important factor when booking this room as I am a breastfeeding mom. It was completely hot the entire time even when switched on. Thankfully the worker Michael was nice enough to store my breastmilk in their fridge/freezer.

Hotel seemed cleaned but room smelled like pee

Great stay, very clean. Only issues was hearing those in the room above me was disturbing. In their defense it was a lot of kids and families that weekend. Overall, great stay and one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in!

First time ever staying in North Carolina and we truly loved our room it was so spacious and clean.

Good place and roomy space

The hotel itself is okay, and the room is clean. I would not stay at this hotel again due to the room layout, and not getting a good nights rest - the whole purpose of staying at a hotel.The pillows were so soft they got almost flat. We layered two and still didn't help. We requested firmer pillows and they seemed to be like the ones we already had in the room? No difference at all. I kept waking up to fluff my pillows. The layout part is the big kicker. It was atrocious. The bathroom door is a sliding door with a frosted glass panel, and the bed is right in front of the bathroom. As we started to get ready, or had to use the bathroom during the night, the light was a nuassance to whoever was sleeping. It was annoying enough even if you were at the sofa bed at the room entrance. It seemed as if other lights were one but it was the bathroom light through the door panel. We asked about switching rooms, and were told they are all the same. The breakfast was subpar and coffee was burnt. I walked to the coffee place 2 min away and police were in the parking due to smashed car windows. This was at 8am. When we checked out at 13pm and left, the glass was still in the parking lot. Not a sense of safety for everyone else leaving or arriving who had otherwise not even known about the incident. I included photos of the room layout.

Had really noisy neighbors with loud Music, arguing and yelling. Upstairs neighbors wouldn’t stop stomping.had dirty mattress Other than that great place just really thing walls

Easily the best hotel in the Charlotte area. Stayed at a few including some of the expensive ones Uptown for a conference. But this one was far and away the best hotel that I stayed at in the North Carolina area. Huge rooms, everything is clean and new. Highly recommend.

The only thing I would change is the orientation of the bathroom in our room. When traveling with others and you have to share a bathroom, the door is transparent so the light shines through even when you are trying to sleep. Other than that the room was nice and spacious

Rooms were very spacious and clean. Our room had a massive walk in closet. Clean bathroom. Our stay was enjoyable.

Hotel was in a very convenient location , as only staying one night to connect for an early morning flight Mike who checked us in , very friendly, and answered any questions we had confidently, and passed relevant information without having to be prompted Check out again very simple and efficient, especially at such an early hour in the morning (0430] Room was spacious, clean , and everything we needed for the short stay Beds very comfortable, had a great sleep Excellent

I stayed at this hotel on 5/8/2024, and try to Check-in about 130 pm, and front desk would not allow me to however upon checking out and waiting I noticed he allowed someone else to Check-in early.

Friendly staff, clean quiet room and delicious breakfast

love that the place is pet friendly however i didn't bring my fur baby as i was there to relax however the room next to ours had two fur babies one sounded small the other large as they barked for over two hours continuously . I reported that id been listening to them yap for hours attendant looked as if she couldn’t care less but thanked me for telling them . We went out to eat trying to get away from the noise 1 1/2 hours later you could still hear them barking from outside . After i realized no one cared but us I went next door and asked if they could try to get the dogs to stop . The family was nice and did do better with the continuous barking . we decided to not stay in the room as much we changed from a relaxing weekend to exploring the area so that we weren't so focused on the barking . Not that this place cares but other hotels could learn to put people with dogs on one corridor as with everyone with dogs maybe will not be disturbed so that people that come for relaxation don't have to be disturbed. Paid a good price for the room to not enjoy it .

Although the front desk rep requested housekeeping service at check in for me and I asked the housekeeper in the hall if she would just remove the trash from the night before and bring clean towels nothing was done after the room was empty for over 4 hrs. Will not be staying at a Springhill Suites again I expected at least minimum service

Could not even bring us sheets to our room… less than impressed

For some reason, apparently standard operating procedure at this property is to leave the front desk unstaffed UNTIL someone yells "is anyone here?" I had waits ranging from 2-3 minutes to get service to step from the office behind the desk - apparently there\'s no camera system to show that a customer is approaching - between 2:45-3:30 for various reasons. But the topper was when I informed the clerk who took over at 3 that my television was not working - this after trying various remotes. All she offered was a "what is it NOT doing?" I explained that it was inoperable. Did she respond with, "So sorry, sir, we\'ll have someone come by the room to investigate?" NO. Did she offer to put me in a different room, given that I had just been in this one less than an hour? NO! The lack of followup was really disconcerting.

Clean Room convenient to downtown Charlotte

The hotel itself was ok, but our vehicle was broken into overnight. We found out after filing a report, and speaking with front desk that it is a common occurrence at this location. Had I known that, I would’ve chosen a different hotel and location.

This hotel is one of the best for any stay in Charlotte. Great location, access to any part of Charlotte.

The property was clean and the customer service was excellent. In addition, the hotel is located right off of the interstate and is accessible to many restaurants and shopping options.

Perfect stay, away from the heartt of the city but close enough to get to everything quickly.

Veey nice room for four people. The breakfast wasn't great.

The food for breakfast was not great. Limited choices and the eggs tasted like rubber. We were there for a week and it was the same two options overstay, and they just rotated. Then on the final day they had a third option. Not impressed

Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. Staff was extremely friendly and the location was very convenient.

Clean room, staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast was typical hotel stuff that comes out these days. The breakfast wasn’t that warm so a microwave would have helped.

Everything was really good. Breakfast was decent. To my surprise they had oat milk and turkey sausage patties

it was fairly comfortable. its bare basics. there is no hand cream in the room. the breakfast included with the room seemed very stale and that was at 7:30 am beds are comfortable

When I first got there, the front desk person was amazing! She was kind and patient. However, the property needs to be maintained. On the elevator, there was broken tile that you could easily trip over, the shower head was barely in the wall and the bathroom door was physically coming off the wall. The bathroom door locked from the inside and I called front desk. I needed to get my soap out the bathroom to check out. After about 20-30 minutes after I called, I went down to the front desk for help because no one showed up, I was given a screwdriver to open the door and was told it happens often due to the doors design. Typically, Marriott’s have a pretty decent breakfast, not here. All you got was paper thin bacon and pre made omelets not made with real eggs. The yogurts were spoiled and the juice machine was broken. Is a great location if you’re going to Carowinds but I probably wouldn’t stay there again.
