Amazing hotel. Very modern and clean. Pool was heated which was AMAZING! Breakfast was delicious. Hotel was walking distance to a shopping center and other great restaurants. Will most definitely be staying here again.

We have stayed here multiple time and this stay was for a very long weekend. I was very surprised with this stay though. The bars poolside and in the lobby were never open. After a busy day out and about on Saturday I thought I would sit down and have a nice cold beer and watch a little TV. Instead we had to walk down the street. The elevator call button was also not working. I notified staff but it wasn't fixed by the time we left.

Wonderful hotel in a nice area. We really enjoyed our stay. We loved that they had full size playpens instead of the dinky cribs or pack n plays we get at most areas. Unfortunately the EV charger was of the "app required" variety which I hate but I suspect the hotel was unaware of this when they were installed.

Very large spacious modern room . Comfy beds good blackout blinds. Large bathtub and nice shower over it . All staff friendly. Good hotel gym modern equipment and nice view from it. Good location lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Nice breakfast enough choice, the made fresh omelettes are tasty like that it is proper crockery and cutlery rather than disposable. Pool area very clean and towels provided saw the chlorine levels being checked and added . Large bubbling hot tub. Very good stay

This hotel is modern, clean, and appealing in every way. Large room, very nice dining room and dining patio, pool, spa, BBQ's for guests, and walking to shopping and fast food. The staff is great and we especially enjoyed Alex who prepared cocktails and had good advice regarding both nearby restaurants, and city transportation.

Hotel has a very good fresh cooked breakfast to offer. Enjoyed the hot tub. Room was very comfortable. Patio on the weekend was a bit loud for us though. That was the only negative. Would have stayed longer but room prices were too high to commute to San Diego.

Excellent customer service. Very clean throughout the hotel and inside room and bathroom. Room and bathroom is spacious. Tub shower is excellent. Water pressure is super. The family loved the Pool and hot tub area. Also outdoor area is available and there’s an outdoor bar that opens in the evening. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with waffles, pancakes, eggs, a protein and potatoes. Can also request for kitchen staff to make an omelet if you prefer. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The amphitheater is a short drive away, but the amenities are somewhat lacking. The pools are very basic, the courtyard bar was not open and seemed pretty lack luster compared to the pictures, but the check in process was easy and the staff was nice.

Everything about hotel is fine but ants being in the room is not acceptable. I don't meant a few ants, I mean ants popping up in the restroom every 5 mins and within the rest of the room as well.

It was comfortable and clean. We had clean towels daily and beds were remade while out for the day. It’s a small thing but a lot of hotels stopped during Covid and never started back up. My only complaint was the hallways had a weird odor. They were renovating so that may have been it.

From check in to check out everything was great. This is a newer property in a really great location. There are many stores and restaurants within walking distance. We just stayed oned night before heading out on a vacation from Tijuana airport but it was clean and comfortable. The rooms are large and there is a divider between the two queen beds which I appreciated since we were traveling with our daughter and her husband (it gave us just a little extra privacy that we wouldn't have in a typical room with two queen beds). We will definitely stay here again if the need arises.

I rated 3 stars under property condition and facilities because first the shower has very low pressure of water coming out. We stayed at a king size bedroom. Second, the room is very spacious with very little furniture. Theres no coffee table and couch. Third, the bathroom is also spacious but the bathtub is very small and they still put a built in bench on it, which made it even smaller. Then, the bathroom sink is also small especially for a husband and wife sharing it. Lastly, theres no separate vanity area for ladies to use for doing make-up and such.

I love the convenience that it offers me for shopping I truly enjoy the breakfast options it provides and the friendly and polite staff. I unfortunately had a bad night my last stay because of the guests above my room who were very loud, stomping and running until late at night.

Very, very loud on 1st floor! People coming in late & shouting down hallway. Can hear *every* step from upstairs neighbor. My bed was broken & made thunking noises whenever I'd move. Rooms are spacious, as is bathroom. Separate tub & shower! Tub was deep enough to soak in. Microwave in room. Free hot breakfast was nice: eggs, potatoes, bagels and waffles. Noon checkout reigns supreme. Alijah at check in was wonderful: pleasant & informative. Plenty of parking. Lots of awesome eateries in immediate area. Pricey, but nice.

I was so happy when they said my room was on the 1st floor. But then after getting to the room everything was great till time for bed. It felt like sleeping on a rock. As a matter of fact, my room was next to some kind of employee rooms and the loud talking is what woke me up. Then because the bed was so hard, when I got up I had lower back pain. I have stayed here many times before and never had that problem. Will I continue to stay there most likely, but I will bring a blow up bed just in case I need it. I do like the location and the employees here and they always are very nice to me. But the bed yah that was a problem.

Hotel appears brand new. Room was large and comfortable. Staff at check in was extremely welcoming. Restaurant recommendations, menus and list readily available. Located in the area of a large outdoor shopping and dining district. Hot breakfast starts.at 7am on weekends but coffee, juice, cereal appears to be available 24/7. Ayres properties always seem well run. We will definitely be back when we are headed across the border.

The place is very nice. There were a few concerns / issues that would improve my rating. The hours of breakfast end at 9 am, not giving time for people to get ready and eat before checking out. The other issue was that the cleaning staff knocked on our room door at 9:30 in the morning and we were still asleep.

Air a conditioning was old and noisy, I couldn’t sleep at night it all, also one of the house keeping employees was very rude and unprofessional, his name was Felipe, he almost ran over my wife and children with his house keeping cleaning car, he didn’t apologize or anything. Please educate your employees to be professional and polite with your clients. Thanks

I arrived early for check-in and was pleasantly surprised when the front desk was able to accommodate us right away. The hotel itself was modern, clean, and well-maintained. Breakfast was included and offered a nice variety—eggs, waffles, pancakes, and more. I always make it a point to use the hotel gym, and this one was excellent—well-equipped and spotless. Overall, a great stay. If I’m ever back in the area, I’ll definitely choose this hotel again!

Always a great stay! We come back to Ayres Chula Vista two to three times a year due to tournaments at the Easton Archery Center of Excellence. Ayres is in a very convenient location. Close to everything you can want.

I stay at this hotel to see my cousin who stays here on business trips. It’s a nice, modern hotel. The area has grown and there are a lot of great shops and chain restaurants nearby. The staff is friendly. It’s not too far from Seaport Village, Gaslamp and other San Diego attractions. It has a decent breakfast and bar but there is no restaurant.

Great location near restaurants, shopping and grocery. Room is in good condition. Room and bathrooms very clean. Lobby was very nice. Free breakfast in the morning was delicious and plenty of space for sitting. The hotel itself was nice and quiet making the stay very comfortable. Free parking with plenty of spaces.

Great hotel near lots of restaurants and walking distance to Otay Ranch Mall. Rooms are very spacious and clean. The hotel offers complementary full breakfast with omelette bar. Outdoor pool is heated. They also have happy hour from 5-9pm and taco Tuesday night. We will definitely stay there again. Thank You to the staff and chefs.

Great hotel, clean and modern. breakfast a bit disappointing. Only 3 hot foods, seasoned potatoes,scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon…and/or an omelette made to order….no croissants or similar. No jam on 3 of 5 mornings. Coffee not the best, no ‘English’ breakfast tea.

This hotel has the BEST free breakfast ever! So many options to choose from! The hotel is very clean and quiet. I did not hear a single hallway or next door noise. We came to SD for the Wonderfront Festival and this hotel is about a 28 min drive (With traffic) from DT San Diego, and so much more affordable than staying DT. For this price and the amazing breakfast, and spacious, clean rooms, you can't beat it! I don't care about it being eco friendly or not so that has no weight on my review.

The hotel itself was very nice but breakfast was bad for both days (7/5 and 7/6). On the first day, they cut off the omelet line 1/2 hour before breakfast ended. We weren't told about this during check-in. And on the second day, the omelet station wasn't even open. There was no sign telling guests about it. When we asked someone, we were told there's no omelet on Saturday. Again, we weren't told about that during check-in. The other breakfast choices were average at best. It's not even on par with Holiday Inn Express. I chose this hotel mainly because of the omelet breakfast and without it, it's not worth the money we paid.

Victoria was fantastic!! She oversees the kitchen. Tuesday tacos were wonderful, as well as the breakfast. Omelette bar was fabulous!

Hotel is beautiful, gym had great equipment and was open 24 hours. Breakfast options were bountiful. Had some issues with noise and staff made accommodation and moved us another room
