Mixed views of this hotel. Location, staff friendliness and rooms all very good, BUT the bar and dining facility were not open throughout our stay (and not part of info on hotels.com website). On top of which the balcony was closed and with no furniture on the patio, there was no opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the view over the river nor have a relaxing sundowner.

wesome get away place. Beautiful views on the drive and the hotel was perfectly placed. Loved the 2nd floor bar/resturaunt. This hotel was the perfect place to see the beauty of the Mississippi River.

The primary reason that we booked a room at this hotel was that they had a restaurant on site. However, when we checked in (on a Tuesday) we were told that the restaurant is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The website did not mention this! The woman at the front desk suggested the Bar and Grill across the street, but that was also closed! As we were interested in a restaurant within walking distance from the hotel (not wanting to drive in an unfamiliar city after having a drink with dinner) we chose to order a pizza. Again we were out of luck as the only delivery was with the DoorDash app that we did not have. On the plus side, the staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was good. However, our room was a little noisy as it was the first one down the hall from the breakfast area and we could hear the staff filling the coffee urns and setting up for breakfast .

The hotel is cute and up-to-date. I checked in on a Tuesday, and would have loved to stay in the hotel for dinner, but the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. There was no option for room service. The room had no desk, so it was difficult using my laptop. I was there for 2 nights, and there was no stay-over cleaning service. I don’t mind since I was alone, but I thought hotels were going back to that service. I wanted a room with a view of the river. My room was looking at a swampy off-chute of the river. The other end of the hotel would have had a better view, but I wanted 2 beds, so I suppose that limited it. The negative comments were just an FYI —the hotel was really very nice. The breakfast was better than a lot of hotels.

This property was very nice staff was friendly and it was close to attractions. Very nice bar area with nice outdoor atmosphere. Only negative was no daily maid service during multiple day stay. Was not made aware of this policy prior to booking.

Amazing stay… the thing I loved the most about this place is when you first walk in the room, you notice how clean it is. I’m the traveler who wipes down everything with Clorox wipes and I told my husband, “wow, first time I feel like I don’t need to wipe down the room”. The decor was beautiful. Staff very accommodating and pleasant. Nice touch on the drinks and snacks in the lobby. 10 stars for us. Highly recommend.

We were not impressed with our stay. The hotel is clean comfortable and modern. The staff were stand offish. We booked a River view for extra but had to keep the drapes closed because we were on the first floor and there were people walking past the window constantly until very late at night. The walls are thin and every time someone in the room above us walked we heard it and they walked around all night. Breakfast was ok. I do not see us ever going back

Very nice hotel, great location, loved the river views. My main issue was noise, specifically being able to hear the guest in the room above me, which is partly due to the rooms having no carpet… which also made for a cold floor on a cold morning. I also had an end room next to the stairwell and could hear people climbing the stairs and slamming the stairwell doors open and close all night.

Well.. unfortunately the shower had no wayer pressure available the 1st night. But worked for remainder of stay. The dining options were basically bar food.. and the street nearby and restaurant near my room were loud at times. View of street.

The property is clean, for sure, but overall, it wasn't as enticing as the photos make it look. A few things made our stay less than stellar: --No drawers to put clothes in. --No handles on the drawers and cupboards in the kitchenette, making it really hard to open or use the cabinets. --Our room had a couch, but no side lamps for reading nor a coffee table nor side table for setting down a drink or book. --A desk, but no chair that properly fit comfortably with the desk (the easy chair didn't cut it). Downstairs, there's a gorgeous great room overlooking the water, where you could relax for a while. But there was always a TV insipidly droning on somewhere (either in the nearby lobby or the great room itself) wrecking what could be a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. The bar is really pleasant (though we didn't try the food). The location is good--adjacent to the downtown. The hotel is on a busy intersection, so ask for a quieter room if this will bother you.

TV for local channels was not HD which made viewing sub-optimal. Didn't like the super heavy bathroom door, especially in the middle of the night because you couldn't prop it open.

The rooms were nice, clean and bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast was ok, not much for choices. The lady at the front desk wasn't very friendly, didn't provide any information about the hotel (breakfast, elevators, etc) just asked for our names, checked us in, handed us our keys and said your all set.

Lovely property and clean, tastefully appointed rooms. My second time staying at this property. Every front desk clerk is always friendly and helpful but I really must single out Jane. She goes above the normal. Extremely professional and accommodating to every guest. She is definitely one of those employees this property should hold on to. She is an asset to your business.

I booked online and got confirmation that my reservation was good to go. Once I got on the road to travel to the hotel, the hotel called me and said there was a mistake and there wasn’t actually a room available. The very apologetic lady blamed Expedia and their process. Either way it wrecked my planned birthday weekend with my wife.

Nice place near the river with plenty of places nearby to walk too for lunch or dinner. Room was comfortable and spacious almost felt like home with all the decor. Wife would love it but this was a business trip. Breakfast was great and you have a nice view to look out while you ate or just enjoy a cup of coffee.

Absolute superb place to stay while in PDC! Within walking distance to all the venues that my wife and I love, including St. Feriole Island and the Depot Bar and Grill. The Backwater Bar and Grill just puts the finishing touches on my review. We will definitely be back!

Everything was wonderful Check in a little slow but not a problem They had to make sure that our room was ready Located next to bridge over the Mississippi River so at times a little noisy. Did not notice the noise after falling asleep

You can’t beat the location. Love the attacked rooftop bar/ restaurant. Great for walking the historic main St. in PDC. The breakfast on site is very good. Actually the whole layout for amenities and extras is great.

Overall a nice location quiet as the bar was closed so cannot comment on noise levels but the rooms are definitely soundproof considering the location next to a major highway crossing. Biggest appointment was the breakfast no yogurt, no hard boiled eggs, minimal condiments. Limited fruit that was not stocked
