The room was nice, clean, and had a great bed. Breakfast was nice. The trains are a huge issue. I am hard of hearing, and they woke me from dead asleep at 4:15 am and never stopped. Not the hotels fault, but it is so close to the tracks it is crazy loud. We arrived at 3:35 pm and waited in line to check in. As we were finishing the checkin process the lady casually mentions a $65 charge for the early checkin fee. We declined and came back 25 min later to avoid the fee. The right thing would have been at the start of the checkin to notify us of the fee, not at the end.($65 for 25 min is crazy). They also were not pleased we declined joining their rewards club.
