Great hotel, literally steps from the Vatican. The breakfast included was simple, but it was available 24 hours which was a huge bonus, recovering from jet lag. Very small but had everything we needed, especially in a great location!

Rooms were clean and nicely appointed. Very near thee Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel. Our stay was in August when it is very humid, and AC only works when you have your key inserted so it took quite awhile for the room to cool down. Breakfast is self serve snacks. Check in was easy.

Our U.S. family of 5 stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Vatican. All communication and check-in was all done through messages via Expedia and Whatsapp, be sure to have that downloaded on your phone. These are simple, no fuss rooms with a bed, nightstand and bathroom/shower...steps away from St. Peter's basilica on the other side of the Vatican City wall and about an 11 minute walk to the Vatican museum (Sistine chapel). Once you're in the courtyard, it is very quiet. Rooms have air-conditioning. We stayed in one room while our 3 children stayed in a room next door. There was a common area upstairs where they had grab-and-go juices, teas, coffee, pre-packaged breakfast items, and a microwave and mini fridge. If we arrived before the rooms were ready, we would have left our luggage in this common space. We were lucky to have the rooms ready by 1pm. It is situated in the heart of a touristy area so the restaurants are pretty mediocre and expensive for what you get, but there are 1-2 restaurants tucked away that make homemade pastas only 5 minutes walking distance. If you walk 15 minutes across the bridges, you'll have more options. This guest house was perfect for our short stay. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Metro which is how we arrived since we took the train from Florence. The train Metro is only 6 stops on the A line and costs 1.50Euros/person/way over 10yrs old.

This is hands-down the closest accommodation I’ve ever stayed to the Vatican. Exit the gate and in just a few steps you’re at the right colonnades of St. Peter’s Square—literally that close. Within a 10-minute stroll you’ll find countless great shops & restaurants lining charming streets. Check-in Process: Seamless. Install WhatsApp before arriving in Rome—it’s the easiest way to communicate without an EU phone number. Owner/manager responds instantly with crystal-clear instructions. Early arrival? Leave luggage in the secure common area (cameras cover space and stairwell). Double security: coded gate to courtyard, then separate code for building. Room: Comfortable, but no slippers, so wear socks or shoes. Walls near floor show scuff marks—clearly from guests putting on/off shoes or dragging luggage. Same wear on floor. Suggestion: add wainscoting or short protective wallpaper to keep it fresh. Bed linens clean but one had a small tear under pillow—needs a quick housekeeping check. Bathroom: Standout! Shower and toilet area is significantly larger and more comfortable than my previous Vatican stay. Plenty of room. Minor confusion: diverter switch between fixed showerhead and handheld spray isn’t intuitive. Daily Delight: Every morning at 7am and again ~ 5pm, hundreds of birds fill the air with song from nearby trees and rooftops. Not noise—a joyful, natural alarm clock. Highly recommend for location

The second floor is a walkup, no elevator. The room had a small over the door air conditioner. It was clean, cute and very conveniently located to the Vatican and the hop-on-hop off bus stop.

I liked that the place was relatively clean and had gates security. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was great as well. The only con was that it was very loud in the hallway when other guests would come in and out as the door slammed and echoed. It also sounded like someone came through cleaning the hallway at 6am. Otherwise it was a great place to stay and the staff was very friendly via email.

Having a common kitchen was convenient and the location is the best!

The problem are the stair for the second floor. Nex time will ask for the first floor. Every tine was very good.

If you want the luxury of staying less than a 5-minute walk from the Piazza San Pietro, just outside the walls of Vatican City, and the convenience of a much larger hotel (code secured gates, free wi-fi, a lovely little breakfast kitchen stocked with snacks, teas, and coffee that are just perfect before a morning adventure) at an incredibly reasonable price (under $100 night!), this is the place to be. It's a little on the spartan side, but clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and it's exactly what we wanted. Bonus: It's located just down the sidewalk from Pasquale's, which had the best pizza and jovial atmosphere I've experienced in ages, right out in the mid-February sun and paired with a lemon soda.

Location AMAZING! Few steps from Vatican. Te rooms were very clean organized. Air conditioned working perfectly very quiet and comfortable. Only thing was the coffee machine needed some cleaning and maintenance but other than this highly recommended

Given the price, I wasn't expecting a WOW but I was expecting to at least feel safe, and to be comfortable. The room on arrival itself was clean enough, however the bathroom was covered in black hairs, as were our towels. The bathroom itself is mouldy in the shower area. The room as you can see im my image, was a simple large white box, with little, to no natural daylight and certainly not comfortable for our stay. The walls were so thin, you could hear the other bathrooms flushing their toilets. There was also work being done from 8am on the Saturday so woken early due to the noise. The final straw was when we arrived back on the Saturday to freshen up for an early dinner reservation - to our absolute horror - our door was WIDE OPEN, with guests waiting around to check in to their room next door. It turns out, Room 11 has a locked cupboard inside that is used to store cleaning products etc. Our personal items were out in the open, for anyone to walk in and steal! There was no explanation from the cleaner and it was almost as if we had inconvenienced her by coming back to our room! Finally, the area, whilst close to the Vatican, it also comes with a lot of social problems in this area. It was heartbreaking to see so many people on the streets, and as you can imagine, this also comes with sanitary issues. I wouldn't feel safe walking back to this property alone at night. This was probably the worst experience I have had at any hotel. Would not stay again, or reccommend.

Premettendo che la struttura si trova in una posizione ottima e che la persona con cui ho scambiato msg per documenti,check in era molto didponibile,gentilissimo e veloce nelle risposte , la camera era in condizioni pessime. Polvere e ragnatele ovunque,peli sulle lenzuola ,nella doccia e sugli angoli della stanza. Per finire,aprendo l'asciugamano per la doccia,è venuto fuori un pezzo di crakers o tuc.Stanzino colazione ,non commentabile, nessun posto per sedere e merendine commerciali. La signora delle pulizie avrebbe fatto bene a tacere e non farsi trovare appena fuori dal portone a fumare.

Location near Vatican was remarkable. We very easily got to all the sites and tours we wanted with a 20 minute or less walk. Room was very nice, bed was comfortable, and having room cleaned daily was also nice. Additional pillows would be nice for reading and relaxing in bed.

Excellent place, few steps away from Vatican, excellent service, communication and impeccable room. Convenient stores near by. Safe.

Otroligt trevlig personal och dem städade och bäddade sängen varje dag. Enda jag kan klaga på är att duschslangen inte fungerade så man fick bara vatten ovanifrån. Annars var allt jättebra och jag kommer definitivt att komma tillbaka.

What a delightful surprise in Vatican City! I loved the location and ease while staying. Unbelievably quiet, especially at night. The host readily responded to any question or request, they were very helpful. Our room was spacious, the sink separate from the shower and toilet. The whole guesthouse is recently renovated. We enjoyed our stay there and look forward to returning!

Rooms are claimed to be soundproofed but that’s not true. The split AC unit is however loud enough to drown some of the noise. They also don’t offer some basic amenities, like no iron, etc. Which is also fine. Breakfast is included which is pretty basic but good to have. On the day of my checkout I asked for some guidance on booking a taxi but they didn’t even bother responding (compared to very fast responses earlier – those conversations were mostly redundant as they didn’t either have those things, or dint want to assist much). Could have atleast said No like everything the responded back to. So not only do they don’t offer much, but lack common courtesy too.

Property is located in a very convenient area, the rooms are small, bathroom is pretty small, the sink is outside of it. Main advantage is location and the self-service breakfast is decent. Everything else is a compromise but for us it made sense and it worked.

Bed was comfortable, could have maybe used an extra pillow or two. Very nice bathroom. The property managers are communicative and responsive. Check in instructions were simple and we were able to store luggage until the room was ready. They helped up book a return to the airport which was very helpful. Extremely convenient location for visiting the Vatican and the rest of the city. The gate of the property is between the wall of a building and the Vatican wall, you are just steps away. The neighborhood is very lively with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. About a 10-15 minute easy walk to the Vatican Museum and metro stop. About 5 minutes from bus stops.

I really appreciated the accessibility of the location! We went there as a family of three and the stay was comfortable and we felt welcomed. The workers were quick to help us whenever we needed them and that was also one of their main characteristics.

Very nice entrance area, somewhat hidden, quiet and peaceful. The room was neutral but with some wear and tear. The bed was full of crumbs, but otherwise clean. Tried to call to get information via email. But was met by a grumpy lady who was unhelpful and rude. Was told to find the email address myself to send important details for check-in. Will not be returning.

Very close to Vatican if you open the door you can take the bus to the airport 13min walking time owner very helpful

A pure gem in Rome. Calm and secure area and as close to the Vatican as you can get. Would highly recommend it! Only issue is that 99% of the restaurants in the area will scam you for hundreds of euros, so eat somewhere else.

Positiv war definitiv die Lage! Man kann vieles ablaufen dadurch. Das „Frühstück“ sollte in snackbar umbenannt werden. Nur süße Sachen und Zwieback. Der Kaffee war okay. Leider keine Sitzmöglichkeiten .. als vierer-Gruppe ein wenig problematisch. Frühs bzw. spät abends wenn Gäste ins Haus kommen ist es sehr hellhörig und da das Licht im Gang dauerhaft an ist, ist das Zimmer dann auch sehr hell..

The room was okay, a bit small for two people. Room number 25 they only served cereal and package bread for breakfast which was included. The area was pleasant and ample places to eat and dine. We were within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Ie: Trevi fountain, Vatican, coliseum, and the steps. All in all was a good couple of days spent in Roma. One thing though I found Rome very dirty.

Helt ok sted å sove. Ikke noe særlig frokost, cornflakes,kjeks,syltetøy, juice, melk, kaffe, te + litt annet. Rent og pent, men vi hadde ganske lite rom. Like utenfor Peterskirken og nære buss og metro. Koselige restaurantgater og shoppinggater like nedenfor. Helt stille om kveld og natt. Kunne bo der igjen om jeg skulle til Roma flere ganger.
