The staff are amazing and very attentive. If you thought you knew what amenities were.. think again! This place has amenities you didn’t even know you needed! Got jet lag or back pain from a long flight? Don’t worry, they’ve got you covered with the massage chairs in the lobby. The massage hits harder than a 21 stone sumo wrestler. Long day or exploring? Pour yourself a whisky from the free bar in the lounge! We didn’t even get a chance to use the hot stone bed.. there are just too many amenities! They say the rooms are small, but the service is big.. and we would definitely agree! Easy walk to Shin-Okuba station, so great access to Shinjuku and other areas.

The hotel is in a vibrant area of Shinjuku - there are MANY PETIT BAL hotels so check carefully which one you are heading for on maps. The hotel is very nice but reeked of tobacco smoke- the room amhas no smoking signs but has ashtrays and lighters in the room. I would stay there again

This place is wonderful! The amount of free amenities offered by the hotel is astonishing & makes packing light for your trip a game changer! From the entrance & beautiful exterior decor to the lively lobby & the rooms themselves, everything is so clean! In the rooms/lobby there are free toothbrushes, toothpaste, face wash, nail polish remover, nail file, hair ties, hair brushes & so much more, all FREE! There is a dining room with board games, snacks, light breakfast served in the mornings, an alcohol bar, a soda/juice machine, a coffee/espresso machine, hot & cold teas, vegan/vegetarian items are limited but its also all free! There is a karaoke room, a stone spa, a foo bath, massage chairs & bike rentals that are once again all free! This is not a negative, just a warning, because as a guest in another country I dont expect them to know my language, but they only have a couple of english speaking staff, however the one that helped us had a handheld translator which was helpful and made things easy for us. All staff were friendly, helpful, & professional. The room sizes are quite standard for Japan but are much smaller than you might find in the US or in europe being that space is so limited. It was still very comfortable aside from my 1 complaint...the pillows on our bed were so flat that we had to use the decorative pillows underneath the sleeping pillows to have some structural support. The bathrooms are awesome tho, and this is overall an amazing place to stay!
