Title says pretty much all. Nicely updated apartment close to the heart of Portree. Easy walk to everything in town. The showers are amazing rain showers; so lux!! Despite it being busy, parking was fairly easy. We found a spot for our large SUV each time we left and returned. We were there Wed-Sat so weekends may be harder but they offer an off-site alternative if needed.

Comfortable accommodations close to everything but expected more for the price. Dishwasher had "out of order" signed taped to it. Had issues with showers in both bathrooms. Smaller bath shower drain was clogged, water overflowed onto floor. When toilet was flushed, water would gush up from shower drain. Larger bath shower spray would drench surrounding floor & walls. Neither shower layout was practical. No towel warmer in larger bathroom. Power was off in portions of the unit the morning of check out. Some lights & switches wouldn't work.

Great location in Portree. Short stroll to shops pubs and restaurants. Comfy beds and really good to have clothes washing facilities. Well set up for self catering even though we didn’t use it. Loved the Isle of Skye. A treat for all the senses.

Lovely updated apartment in a prine location for exploring Portree. Don’t be concerned about parking. We never had an issue and the property does has an alternate arrangement with a local church if you cannot find street parking. The takeaway Fish & Chips place down the street was the best we had in Scotland. Amazing chips!!

Cat was very helpful at virtually guiding us to the right door and lockbox. However, we entered into a beautiful apartment at night with no heat and it was about 32 degrees Fahrenheit and raining outside. Cat was sweet and came right over to help us, but unfortunately she didn’t know how to turn it on and we ended up having to sleep the night in the freezing cold. Cat did bring space heaters for us which helped, but my daughter got sick with a cough and cold due to the severe cold temperatures. Someone came the next day and fixed the heat, but that morning, the hot water wasn’t working anywhere in the house. We had to leave without showers (and my daughter feeling ill) and someone came during the day and fixed the hot water. When we arrived back home that afternoon, sweet Cat had left us a sorry note and some gifts to express her remorse for the situation. While we think the world of cat and the quick response to our issues, for the price we were paying, the home should have been heated before we arrived and the proprietor/helper should be more knowledgeable about the property. We are grateful for the kindness, but my daughter is very sick now and we spent an evening freezing and a morning without hot water which is really un

Really nice apartment. Well appointed and in the middle of town. Parking options at local church was brilliant as the quay side was a busy place. Hardest part was getting meals — staffing issues make it tough for restaurants. Reservations were for hotel guests only or a couple of weeks in advance. Kitchen was well equipped and take-away fish and chips right up the road.

We had an excellent stay at Bayview in Portree! Everything about the appartment was just wonderful, and also the situation of the appartment couldn't be better. The view at the harbour was as beautiful as it gets! Lovely restaurants at the harbour, just a few steps away. Parking place in front of the door. Heating in the livingroom didn't work as it should, but small electric heaters were placed, and they warmed the room up in just moments and the warmth and snoring that came from heaters in fact was rather cosy... we very much enjoyed our stay!!

This flat on the harbor of Portree is as beautiful as it appears in the pictures. Spotlessly clean and perfectly appointed. We did have some issues though in communicating with the management team first before checkin getting our final payment confirmed and later with no television. We were there 4 days when it was raining all the time and not having tv in the evenings was a real minus. Also the problems a previous review had sited on the second bathroom may not have been resolved. My daughter had a terrible time trying to use the shower which consistently flooded the entire floor. Parking was fortunately never an issue in the rain as we were always able to find a spot open out front.

We always found a spot on the street to park but the church parking lot is very close if necessary. Really, the place is perfect. We loved every minute of our stay.

We were so happy with our stay here. It was very clean, comfortable beds and great location. So easy for check in and check out which is always wonderful. Had a washer and dryer combo and we’re glad to be able to do a load of laundry. Would recommend to anyone staying in Portree. Also Sea Breezes is a fantastic restaurant to doors down, which is an added plus!

Location is outstanding and the view lovely. The living areas and bedrooms were welcoming and comfortable - loved the deep window seats! Tall guests might need to take care with ceiling elevation changes in the bedrooms.

Loved the location. Spacious unit with modern feel to it. Parking can be tough, but we were able to find parking each day on the dock and didn't need the church parking. We were there in August and the area was very busy.

Our family had a wonderful stay in this Portree home in June. Location was fantastic and we were able to find parking even though it is a busy area. The weather was unseasonably warm and the management team was kind enough to provide fans on request. Thank you for your hospitality!

Wish we could have staid longer! Couldn't have chosen a nicer place to stay while we were there. I missed the email with check in details, but was easily able to get in touch with someone on the phone and get access right away. We were also given an extra hour to check out without any hassle. I hope this space is available on my next visit. Rebooking will be a no brainer!

Can’t say enough nice things about the apartment and the owners. Convenient to everything we wanted to see and getting around choices are abundant. There is a car hire service close by (our choice) but there is also local bus service as well as a taxi service that has tours. Plus Citibus has a stop there. As far as the owners, we lost our keys and after a quick call and a few pints at a local pub, they met us with a new key.That is first class. We couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else

This apartment is stunning and so smartly fitted, but we specifically booked a property with two ensuite bathrooms and one of them was non-functioning for the duration of our stay. A plumber appeared to have come, but the issue was not resolved and in fact, the bathroom was left in a worse state than when we arrived. We received no communication, or response to messages. This was such a disappointment because the location on the iconic pier and easy, walkable access to Portree's shops and restaurants was ideal. I expect this was a exception to an otherwise ideal holiday let for visitors, but sadly, our experience was not what it could or should have been.

Very central place, spacious and comfortable. Once parked, you can do everything by foot. The beds are of high quality. Watching the light going down on the port in the evening is a pleasure you won't ever have enough.

The location couldn’t have been better, and the amenities were superb. Absolute comfort for our 4 day stay. Hope to return next autumn again.

The location was the envy of the tourists. It felt like it was located on a working pier with fisherman going out, a fresh fish shop and tour boats going out, apartment is located above a charity shop. But it's where all the tourists wanted to be with prime restaurants and on the harbour. We felt like it was the prime spot when we saw magnets and paintings throughout Isle of Skye featuring the colored buildings on the water with the boats. Our apt is the white one. Both bedrooms are ensuite masters with harbour views and large bathrooms. A wine bottle waited for us on the table and fans (requested) were waiting for us as we arrived the week of sunshine. This is the place to stay in Portree!

This place is a beautiful spot smack in the middle of a very busy little town. Perfect for two adult couples. We were lucky and found parking on the busy pier each day. We were surprised by how busy, crowded and touristy Portree is (September) Between the cars, tours buses, cruise ships and foot traffic, we were a little overwhelmed yet I will say the apartment was a quiet oasis. Every single restaurant was full our first night, with lines out the door. We got smart and made dinner reservations for future nights. There are nearby grocery stores and the kitchen is great and nicely equipped if you prefer to cook in. Of note: one of the bathroom showers has only two walls, we couldn't figure out how to keep the water from flooding the floor a bit. Luckily, there was a combo washer/dryer unit in the apartment and we could dry the towels we used to sop up the water.
