Virgin really needs to change their policy with allowing “non-guest” to use their rooftop pool. I couldn’t even get a seat nor could I order a drink it was so busy. Definitely sucked.

Downstairs bar was understaffed on a holiday weekend. Was never patient enough to wait 20 minutes to get service Never had to wait in line before to go to hotel pool in my life. If they want to have rooftop pool parties for locals, give guests an option in August.

The hotel itself is very nice. However, I’m basing this review around the use of the rooftop pool. It’s very pretentious for what it really is. They open it to the public at 11 a.m. and the public gets preferential treatment over the paying hotel guests. We got a poolside table and were told that if someone else, who wasn’t staying at the hotel, came and paid for the table they would ask us to move. It’s a VERY small pool and area to begin with. I was very leery about the pool water itself. Didn’t seem clean as it had a yellow tint and most of the people in it were drinking all day and I never saw them get out to use the bathroom. The bathrooms themselves were dirty and unkempt. We expected more for what we paid for the rooms. The drinks were way overpriced. There are plenty of other hotels in Nashville that I won’t be staying at this one again.

This was a cute hotel and the service was great in the hotel, but the pool was not ideal. They allow people to come in for $20 that aren't staying at the hotel and don't seem to have any sort of max capacity. This place has 10 lounge chairs. The hotel has 14 floors. When we were there a run club came in and you couldn't even move on the pool deck. I certainly wouldn't recommend this over other pools in the area whose hotels are more concerned with their guests than people who are bringing them $20.

This Hotel should set better standards for the whole industry. They had a private party at the rooftop pool so hotel guests could not use the pool! The party they had allowed prostitutes and pimps to just walk right in the hotel and go to the party. The noise from the party could be heard from our 13 floor room. We ask to be moved and they did move us down to the 10th floor where we could still hear the music from the pool. So we demanded our money be returned and we left. The hotel didn’t seem to care that we left as well as 2 other guests at the same time! The lobby of the hotel was over run with the worst type of people that didn’t even stay at the hotel!!! We were so shocked at how bad this whole situation happened that we will NEVER stay at one of the Virgin Hotels ever again!!! It was really shocking to see what the hotel management was letting happen there. I hope the disgusting.pool party paid enough to cover the cost of guests leaving the hotel!!!

Great location, a quick uber ride away from music & shopping. Loved the design of the hotel, the friendly staff and common area/lounge/restaurant. Rooftop pool had great apps & drinks. Definitely recommend!

We loved it. The roof top pool was really crowded but overall a nice hotel and good experience. It would have been nice to have water in the room instead of asking for it and room cleaning was inconsistent. Otherwise it was great.

Unfortunately, my experience at this property was quite disappointing. The walls are extremely thin — I could hear everything from the neighboring rooms, including full conversations and even intimate activities, which made it hard to relax or sleep. Housekeeping was another major issue. I had to call every single day just to request basic cleaning and fresh towels. Even then, it took hours for anyone to show up, and when they did, the cleaning was minimal at best. The biggest letdown, however, was the pool area. While the hotel’s pool itself is fairly small, it allows outside guests to use the pool, which made it nearly impossible for actual hotel guests to enjoy it. Every day it was packed to capacity, and finding a seat or space to relax was a constant struggle. The only positives were the location — which is very convenient — and the overall aesthetic of the hotel, which is beautifully designed. But sadly, those few highlights weren’t enough to outweigh the lack of comfort, cleanliness, and guest consideration.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was clean and very nice. The hotel had a mini bar but no vending machines to get water or other drinks. Charged at check in a $150 a night incidental fee which was upsetting when $500 that you weren’t expecting came out. It falls off at check out. Also not sure how house keeping works. They came once when we were in our room on our two day stay but never came back when we were gone so had to request more towels.

No phone in room. Asked nightly for a phone or room service or even towels. No one was helpful. Sad because I stayed here exactly a year ago and was blown away with the impeccable service and rooms. Never got clean towels or sheets changed out and didn’t leave the door on private!! Was not let into pool with DI playing like last year and it wasn’t a private event and we paid to use pool. Horrible experience will report to corporate and never staying here again! Buyer beware!!

The hotel is conveniently located. The property has a tastefully done decor, nice bar area, good roof restaurant/bar and front desk staff were courteous and attentive. Cleanliness wasn’t the best. Empty bottles and containers on tables in hallways by the elevators. Also, room didn’t feel or smell well cleaned and they didn’t service our room one day even though we asked for it.

This was our first time in Nashville. This was a great property! Room was large and loved the ability to close off the dressing area. Loved that the restroom and shower were separate. Loved that the room had wood floors. I hate carpets in hotels! Staff was very friendly.

Beautiful hotel, outside of the busier areas of Nashville but still convenient. Gorgeous room, with high end furnishing and linen. Very thoughtfully done! Great food on site. View from the rooftop bar/pool is fantastic, particularly at sunset!

Room was small and our TV kept going out, very annoying. Our light for house keeping was broken and we only got our room cleaned once. Got bottle service at the pool and had to get a manager because we got sat and it took 30min and me complaining before we got to order anything. Manager did get us a round of shots so it did help the situation. Overall not bad but not great for the price we paid.

We had a great stay at the Virgin Nashville. The hotel is very well kept and the staff is friendly and professional. We liked the location because it was away from lower Broadway but close enough (20 minutes) to walk it. The hotel was quiet enough, and the beds were comfortable. The room was well appointed. The only thing that you need to know is that the pool (which we didn't use) gets packed on the weekends because non-guests can pay to use it. The frustrating part is that you pay a resort fee and I'm not exactly sure what for. We did use the gym and it was well appointed. Overall a very positive and enjoyable stay.

I was very displeased that my check-in was not until 515 when we arrived at 2:30. The website states check-in is at three and the website also states all fees and taxes are included in the price I paid however there was another $30 or so added onto my balance.

Great location next to Music Row and then a short walk to Downtown (approx 20 mins). Staff were so friendly and helpful and the hotel was spotless. Loved the coffee house there too. Would certainly recommend. Great room and exceptionally clean.

Very nice hotel. Utilized the restaurant, coffee bar, and pool during the stay. Restaurant food and drink were delicious. Coffee bar way too busy with just 1 person working. Pool very pleasant but somewhat limited seating so get their early. Only gripe was housekeeping - they just never really came so we gave up and just grabbed clean towels from them.

Check in was easy and accommodated our very early arrival. Had breakfast at the Commons restaurant, was wonderful, quick, friendly service, bog portions and great taste. Room was very clean and nice, though having a chair to sit in, rather than a long bench in front of the window would work better when doing business work. I wasn't offered any VIP upgrades, dinner 2 days later at the Comms did not go as well as the breakfast, but the staff took care of the issues we brought to their attention. Checkout was smooth and fast.
