We booked the hot tub suite, it was nice overall. The only thing is that the carpet in the room was wet. Not sure if they shampooed and didn’t allow it to dry all of the way but that’s the only thing. The room was very nice, quiet, and clean. The hot tub was great

The hot tub was fantastic. The bed was great. The room was spacious and everything was squeaky clean., especially the hot tub. No chemical smell. The guy in the lobby who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. The room is separate from the rest of the motel so very private. It was great but oddly missing a few hotel stations like an in room coffee machine, tissues, or anywhere to actually unpack your clothes. Not very important when the star is clearly the hot tub :)

Staying at the Jefferson Hills Motel was a wonderful experience and a property I would highly recommend anyone looking for a comfortable night's stay to consider if you're in the area. The grounds are well maintained, well-lit, and safe. The room was spotless and modern; while a little small, it was still pleasant. The staff here are top-notch and are incredibly kind and accomodating to their guests. Fantastic motel, especially for the price!

Everything is a hill here ... driveway is steep and the parking lot is all sloped. The sidewalks when slope up everywhere. Over all great safe place for the price. Would stay again if in the area.

We stayed in the hot tub suite for two days. It was amazing, but there was some cons of the room. The ice bucket came with no cups, the fridge froze everything's in it even when we turned the temperature down, there was no coffee maker. It says on the details they offer pastries, and coffee for the morning, but we didn’t get pastries until we checked out. The coffee in the morning for guests was very basic. The room itself was nice along with the hot tub, but they should put a dining table in the room with chairs for eating. The tv cable was going in and out so we didn’t get to watch anything but our phones. We also noticed our shower pressure was very slight in the room. Overall check in and out was very easy. The parking was great. There was no noise that we heard. The staff was very friendly.

We booked the suite with the hot tub in the room for the weekend. Location is pretty unique, you have to go down stairs to get to the suite, it's a motel, so really at first look it's pretty strange... BUT there is an actual hot tub in the room, which was HUGE and very clean, the room itself was pretty clean. Staff was always friendly and helpful. I would have liked a better mirror situation (mirror in the bathroom was hung too high for me and my partner--we're shorties), like a full length mirror somewhere in the room, and maybe a desk or table, though I don't know where that would fit. But that's me being picky! Otherwise, I definitely want to go back next time I'm in the Pittsburgh area.

Jefferson Hills Motel was the perfect place for our stopover while traveling to the west. The motel was very clean, the staff were extremely polite and helpful and check in couldn’t have been easier. The area around the motel had plenty of casual dining options. Anyone traveling through the area looking for an overnight stay should definitely consider a stay at Jefferson Hills motel.

The motel is very cute from the outside and the staff were lovely. Our room was very musty. Our shower didn’t drain. It just needs a very deep cleaning. I would imagine removing the carpet and updating the bedding would go a long way in helping with the smell of the room. It was so bad we had a tough time sleeping. It’s a shame because the place is really cute.

The room was clean, that's the only positive thing. All other things are not good at all: - Terrible chemical smell, most likely from cleaning liquid or so. We had to keep the door open for several hours after we checked-in. - There is no closet. You're supposed to hang your clothes just next to the fridge. - There is no "Do not disturb" sign. We had to make our own sign. - There is no tea/coffee in the room. -The hairdryer didn't work. I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

I absolutely adored this property! We came in town for 3 nights for a wedding. Our room was incredibly clean, and I'm one of those people who typically brings my own clorox wipes to clean hotel rooms when I check in. I was so impressed with how spotless it was! All the staff we interacted with were wonderful.

It’s a motel with cars parked just feet outside your window (people locking their cars remotely, car radios etc) and people hanging out until about 11pm. However for the money it is a great value and I would stay there again.

Tiny rooms but recently nicely renovated and priced right for the Pittsburgh area. The only dings are for 1) the room key only worked every now and then and 2) the bathtub drain was clogged so ended up standing in 5 or 6 inches of water when showering.

Traditional type motel where you pull up to the door of your room. Makes loading and unloading easy. Great value and convenient to Pittsburgh. Most amenities provided: microwave, hair dryer, good sized fridge. Did miss having a coffee maker in the room. Coffee in the lobby was fine, but stopped at noon.

I booked this because the price was great and the reviews were very good. The people were very nice and there was nothing in particular wrong but I wouldn’t rate it as high as what was online. The gentleman at check in at night is AMAGINGLY WONDERFUL!!!!! Nicest man you could ever want to meet! The rooms are cozy, clean, beds are comfortable. Will definitely be back!!!

Standard clean motel. Nothing to complain about it. However I booked a room for a Tuesday night and the room next to me started blasting music off their room TV. There were at least 5 people partying from midnight to 4am. It’s not the best area so I didn’t bother knocking and asking to turn it down. The staff didn’t do anything to help. This music was LOUD and could be heard from the parking lot. Kind of ruined my whole vibe and felt like I was stuck in my college apartment. These were undesirable/trashy people. Any of which could have had a weapon so I was in a tough situation. Who parties in a motel on a Tuesday night? Might be better off paying more $ and getting a room downtown. Certainly a learning moment when visiting Pittsburg.

I have 3 ESA dogs ! Never had to pay for them in any state or country they also fly with !!! I booked 2 nights stay through Expedia ( they were no help ) I even called 6 hrs prior of me arriving. Told the man that answered what time I would be there and that I was bringing my 3 ESA Dogs. He replied “ that’s ok that’s not a problem “ I get there and he ask me for 120 20$ per dog per night !!!!!! I told him they are CERTIFIED THROUGH A DOCTOR ( MILITARY DOCTOR ) he then said that the manager said ESA ANIMALS ARE CONSIDERED REGULAR PETS AND IN THE STATE OF PA THAT IS THE RULE . By then my PTSD and my anxiety sets in ( they can watch cameras ) I thought I was about to faint. IF HE WOULD HAVE TOLD ME THERE IS A CHARGE FOR ESA ANIMALS I WOULD HAVE CANCELLED AND FOUND SOMEWHERE ELSE . But I was there and had no choice since I was traveling with my minor kid but to take the room . I asked for a refund for the deposit and it was denied . There was a young lady there that did give me 20$ off my deposit. I was honestly very disappointed of how a Veteran was treated .

The Jefferson Hills Motel is the cleanest hotel / motel that we have stayed in for some time. I have to say that the property is very charming, situated on a beautiful stretch of road, and is obviously cared for by the owners and employees. Upon checking in, the night desk agent, Tom, was very helpful and friendly. We had a problem with our card and he took care of it with expertise and calmness. The Jefferson Hills Motel is the cleanest hotel / motel that we have stayed in for some time. I have to say that the property is very charming, situated on a beautiful stretch of road, and is obviously cared for by the owners and employees. Upon checking in, the night desk agent, Tom, was very helpful and friendly. We had a problem with our card and he took care of it with expertise and calmness. Next time we are in the Pittsburgh area, we know where we're staying.

No way of letting staff know to not come into my room. Wi-Fi was completely unusable. Staff needs to leave personal issues at home. I didn't pay to hear about their issues.

Reminiscent of motels of the days of yore! You can tell how much work and love they have put into it. As one would expect of a motel, the location is better situated for driving than walking. It is a convenient drive from the U of Pitt campus.

Clean, affordable accommodations in Pittsburgh area. Check-in was fast and easy. Nice plants around the property. The room is very clean and the bed is comfortable. The motel is on a busy road and we can hear the traffic.

Great location ! Close to everything but tucked away from the business. I have lived in west Mifflin my whole life and recently relocated to Texas when come back to visit family I thought let’s give this place a try I always drove by never stayed. Wow wow wow amazing amazing staff great prices everything to offer 10/10

We were traveling cross country and stoped here to spend the night. Arrived a bit early but they still accommodated us as soon as our room was cleaned. Great motel, easy parking, room was clean and well maintained, beds comfortable, bathroom clean, decent sound insulation. Will stay here again if we are ever in this area. Location was good too, decent dining options nearby, gas station etc.

Great location as a launch point to Acrisure stadium. We got back to the motel around 1:30am and everything was quiet enough for us to fall asleep quickly. The room was fune, exactly what you would expect from a motel. It was clean, and the coffee and donut breakfast was a nice extra. Would stay again.

Clean, close to shopping area with restaurants and fast food (about 3 miles). 15-20 min to Kennywood. Had a refrigerator/freezer and microwave. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Everything is a hill here ... driveway is steep and the parking lot is all sloped. The sidewalks when slope up everywhere. Over all great safe place for the price. Would stay again if in the area.

Weird part of the city, rougher than expected, but the motel property was super nice and kept. Staff was very kind, check in and our process super quick, room was small, clean and quiet, perfect for what we needed. A hidden gem!

The hot tub was fantastic. The bed was great. The room was spacious and everything was squeaky clean., especially the hot tub. No chemical smell. The guy in the lobby who checked us in was very friendly and welcoming. The room is separate from the rest of the motel so very private. It was great but oddly missing a few hotel stations like an in room coffee machine, tissues, or anywhere to actually unpack your clothes. Not very important when the star is clearly the hot tub :)

Traditional type motel where you pull up to the door of your room. Makes loading and unloading easy. Great value and convenient to Pittsburgh. Most amenities provided: microwave, hair dryer, good sized fridge. Did miss having a coffee maker in the room. Coffee in the lobby was fine, but stopped at noon.

Jefferson Hills Motel was the perfect place for our stopover while traveling to the west. The motel was very clean, the staff were extremely polite and helpful and check in couldn’t have been easier. The area around the motel had plenty of casual dining options. Anyone traveling through the area looking for an overnight stay should definitely consider a stay at Jefferson Hills motel.

It was clean and gardens were excellent though no smoking policy it was clean I smelled cigarettes suppose some house keepers smoked outside but cigarette smoke lingered on them bed was soft for us overall the stuff were helpful unfortunately it was a bit far from the event we had visited for nice place beautiful gardens that is one good thing Wi-Fi was very good stuff accommodating did not know the restaurant just opposite the hotel is supposed to be good unfortunately we didn’t know till last day Steel Grill was ok not excellent but ok overall stuff fantastic helpful with everything directions to places and giving us help when ever required

Get what you pay for. Very inexpensive but absolutely no extras except coffee in morning and dry coffee creamer. Donuts picked over early so not available after 7. Lots of construction workets who are up early. Very clean. Towels limited to 1 per person, no shampoo' kleenex, and only 1 bedside table but workers were pleasant and grounds were well kept.

I was looking for an inexpensive bed to sleep in after dropping my child off at Pitt, and I found a great place for us to stay when we visit! The room is low frills but is clean and has everything you need. The motel - even though it seems to be in the middle of nowhere - is only 20-25 minutes from the university and Sheets is right down the road for a late-night snack. The friendly staff and free coffee in the morning are perfect bonuses! We definitely plan to stay here again!

This is a gem. Tucked away uphill from the road keeps it quieter than other small units around the area. Only negative is the best rooms have no parking in front so you park a bit away from your room which was miserable when I left in a heavy rain.

There is a welcoming feeling about staying at this motel. They only have coffee to offer guest. There is no area for breakfast. However they have a grill on the property and refrigerator and microwave to use. There are some restaurant that’s not too far from the motel. We would stay at the Jefferson Motel our next visit to Clairton Pennsylvania. Thank you for our stay. Tourist.
