Nice place to stay for the airshow. My husband is handicapped and everything met our needs. Pool very accessible, only wish it was heated. Bed was so comfortable. Loved that there is a Kuerig in the room. Breakfast was just okay. We were not a fan of the bacon or French toast. Overall happy that we picked this hotel.

Everything was perfect but absolutley no place to get food except for breakfaast. the bar was never open until teh weekend and the bar tender had probably one of the worst attitutudes to not only me but th eother guest while getting orders for drinks. This is not the firs ttime we have faced his unhappiness with what he does. We've complained to the front desk but not sure that will do any good.

This hotel is a gem, great location to downtown and the RP funding center. They have a shuttle that will run you down to the local restaurants, bars. They have their own small bar and the bartender is wonderful. We have stayed there numerous times and the rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is great too. It is close to our son at Florida Southern College, so we stay quite often. I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel so that I could go to my son’s Lakeland Highschool football game. Our train was delayed getting into town and after a very long ride they allowed us to check in 2 hours early. We were only 7-8 minutes away from Bryant Stadium. The room was big enough for him to come stay with me and his Grandmother. He slept on the trundle. We used the gym, we went swimming and had great breakfast! Had great quality time at a really nice hotel with very friendly staff!!!

Everything was great. Very nice breakfast. Beds were comfortable and nice. Very spacious room. Bathroom door was frosted glass so it was a little bright if someone used in the middle of the night. Would light up the whole room. Other than that everything was great. Very nice pool area as well. Very friendly staff.

The hotel said it had a bar and food they were closed. Firepit closed. These are things that should be told in the listing. After working all day these were things we were looking for. We ended up walking to the hotel next door that had both.

They offered a shuttle to downtown which was FABULOUS. It was quiet and clean. We never interacted with staff outside of checking in.

I enjoyed my stay. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the shower pressure was perfect. The room was very clean overall however, the bathroom floor wasn't mopped.

The girl at front desk that checked me in didn't say hello, maybe she had a bad day. The cleaning in the bathroom is not the best, there is mold in the corners of the shower, the sheets and the covers of the pillows are dirty.

Mold in the upper corner of the shower growing. Hair on the bathtub walls when we checked into our room (we had to ask someone to come in to re-clean). There were two shampoo bottles, you couldn’t tell which one was body wash and shampoo. The smell in the room smelled wet and was very strong. The couch also had crumbs on in and didn’t look clean. The beds looked clean and were comfortable. The pool area was decent. Breakfast had a big variety of items for food. Overall, i would never stay here again.

The front desk was so friendly and lovely. However, our room smelled musty and gross. My son kept saying he couldn’t sleep because it stunk. It was a swamp cooler style AC and the humidity was so high in the room I kept waking up feeling sticky. The bed was hard as a rock and there was only 1 pillow for the sofa bed.

The room was spacious, including the closet space and the beds were very comfortable. Two things i found lacking: 1. Only two small drawers for clothing - no dresser & 2. Water pressure in bathroom sink was very low. I want to point out Housekeeping is stellar. The ladies were accommodating, professional yet personal. The front desk, breakfast staff and the gentleman at the bar made our stay enjoyable and relaxing. We will return when visiting FL & recommend Springhill Suites to family & friends.

Nice big rooms but prefer a door between bedroom and living area.Shower curtain needs replacing, discolored slightly from mold and needs new pillows, WAY too flat. Style and design impressive and modern. Loved being able to check in early! Bathroom door allows too much light waking everyone up. Need a mirror in the big room not just bathroom. Complimentary breakfast was great:-)

This was very conveniently located next to the convention center and the room was nice and clean. The AC was. super loud and woke us up most of the night when it turned on. Other than that it was great.

We enjoyed are stay, right next door to the venue which was great! Staff very friendly and our accommodations were clean and spacious. Only draw back is the bathroom, even with the sliding barn style door closed the light shines thru the frosted panel. It illuminates the entire sleeping area. Pillows could also be more firmer. We definitely recommend staying here!

The hotel is very nice but the service was not great. I had requested an early check in online and then I got there they said there were no rooms available, but they should by 2 and they would call me. I waited and after 2:00 passed and no call, I went to the front desk to ask. The girl told me no again but luckily the manager was standing there and got involved and all of a sudden a room became available.

The front desk agent was less than welcoming. There was a man smoking a joint at the entrance of the side by the pool and it seems there was a large group staying in the hotel that was less than respectable for quiet hours, slamming doors, loud music, loitering in the hallways, screaming. Security was not enforcing quiet hours. Raise the rates and keep the hotel classy or your going to loose more clients.

I booked the room for 2 nights.. My girlfriend got there first, I got in from work about 5am & noticed it was pretty warm in the room.. So I turned the AC down some more & collapsed on the bed.. about an hour later, we woke up, drenched in sweat.. the AC was blowing warm air & it was 80 degrees in the room.. Called the front desk & spoke to a very uninterested gentleman who told me, “well, there’s no one here to look at it until 8am” I asked about switching rooms & he chuckled, saying “Nope.. we’re sold out.. Things like this happen sometimes” ..8am came & went.. we of course heard nothing.. we finally fell back asleep & woke up about 10.. still nothing.. So we called the front desk again.. This time greeted by a friendly, helpful woman who immediately got us another room & apologized.. She was not informed of the issue at all, so if we hadn’t called again, we never would have heard anything back.. She also said “I’m not sure why he wouldn’t switch you to another room, I will pass this info on to the manager” The hotel/rooms were nice enough.. seemed clean.. But when you pay $500 for 2 nights, you should be able to rest comfortably, at a bare minimum

Very comfortable stay from check-in to check-out. Friendly desk staff, modern decor, clean, spacious, comfortable room. Felt safe and so many dining and entertainment options within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Lakeland, FL.

It said restaurant on the web site and there was none. The area in front where there is breakfast, the tables were never clean. The gal who set up breakfast was great. Staff was helpful except the bartender who was rude.

Hotel full of ball kids. Lobby was LOUD upon check in. Kids playing bags & jumping around. Our room was clean & quiet. Breakfast was poor. Bisquits were rock hard. Bacon was so overcooked it crumbled. No eggs of any kind. Dissapointed for a 200$ room.

Had a very nice stay but the hot breakfast was very basic. Waffle was hard as a rock and the coffee was terrible. Had to grab a proper brunch before heading out of town.
