Lovely stay! Staff was super friendly. Breakfast better than average hotel "continental" with many healthy choices. The common areas and room were remarkably spotless. Views great from most of the many windows in our room and common areas. We didn't use the pool. It looked small b ut very clean. The gym looked quite nice - small also - but adequate for a hotel this size. We are walkers, so did the 10 min walk to downtown, however, we learned there is a shuttle to downtown included if one should want. The sheets were just a little scratchy, but the bed was comfortable.

The hotel is beautiful, modern, & very clean. Very friendly staff. There's both an evening happy hour, as well as daily breakfast, included. The room was spacious. We only stayed one night, but for a longer stay, there is a kitchenette with a stove top & microwave, a small fridge (like you find in a studio apartment), and a dishwasher. Spacious bathroom, as well. The hotel is between the arts district (a 10 minute drive) and an area where there are lots of restaurants (a 5 minute drive). Also, we have a plug-in hybrid and loved being able to charge at the hotel. If we head back to Asheville, we will definitely stay at the Element again.

Element is a new addition to downtown Asheville and the competition for the consumer dollar is high in this area, so the prices are competitive. There is no restaurant although they offer a small breakfast buffet. Beds are comfortable and the room has enough space for a few days BUT and this is my big BUT, it is located directly alongside a 6-lane major highway that is heavily trafficked day and night. The noise level was quite high and after 1 night of no sleep, they accommodated me by moving my room, but even at the new location I realized the noise level would keep me awake again so I checked out before evening and returned home. Got a blessed 9 hours of sleep!!! If you are not bothered by noise- this is a very nice hotel within blocks of all activity in downtown.

Beautiful views from the hotel. The evening reception/breakfast was nice and the food was good. Location was super convenient. The parking situation is not optimal (there is not enough onsite parking so the have two overflow lots you have to park and walk from). The mattress was a bit firmer than I’d like and I didn’t care for the feather pillows so the sleep wasn’t the greatest. We had to wait for quite awhile at the front desk when we needed help but I understand everyone is short handed. The newness/cleanliness, price and location made up for the downsides.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. It is a little bit of a walk to downtown but they have a shuttle that runs regularly to give you a lift to and from town until 10 m, which was great

I love everything about the hotel, the views are beautiful and there are places to eat that are walkable too. The only issue I had was that any time after 8pm there’s no parking spaces available and I’d have to wait for someone to hopefully leave to park my car.

We stayed at the Element Hotel in Asheville last weekend. It was very nice/clean. They have a heated pool, a free shuttle to and from downtown until 10 pm, bikes you can borrow, a complimentary breakfast, and probably more that I didn’t notice! We walked back because we all wanted to and it only took about 20 minutes. The full kitchen is a nice option. We didn't cook but would be nice if you were going for longer. I would definitely stay again.

Limited breakfast options. Farther from downtown than many other “downtown” hotels. Annoyed to spend $12 on parking for this out of the way location. Everything was new and modern. Fancy coffee machine was a nice perk. Room was small and could have been cleaner (dust bunnies and hair on floor).

Check in was easy. Decent location. Friendly staff. Good view from rooftop. Bathroom had not been properly cleaned. Room had not been swept or vacuumed. Housekeeping barged in on us twice despite do not disturb.

I really liked this hotel. It had a nice kitchenette which would be really great for a longer stay. My daughter and I only stayed one night but the beds were comfy and the view out of the window was really nice!

If you want a room to actually SLEEP in, don’t go here! Every idiot coming out of the tunnel lays on the horn and revs engine and you hear everything, ALL NIGHT LONG. I didn’t sleep at all and I’m a heavy sleeper, especially after a night out on the town. For a place to be this expensive, they should’ve used an engineer who had the knowledge to use better sound blocking materials, really anything. The tunnel noise is like a megaphone directed at the side of Element hotel. Will never stay here again. So disappointing because the check in staff and the van driver were great.

Great room, clean and comfortable bed. Having the filtered water at the sink came in handy and we liked the automatic blinds/drapes. A tad noisy on the hwy side but not enough to interfere with sleeping. Breakfast was good and loved sitting on the deck overlooking the mountains and city.

The common spaces were open and inviting and the shuttle driver was very nice. The room might have had a nice view, but the power shade was broken so we couldn't enjoy it. The room had plenty of space for a family of four; however the beds were uncomfortable and the AC didn't seem to remove the humidity from the room. The wardrobe needs a rod installed to hang clothes and the bathroom sink could use a towel rack for the hand towel. Parking was easy and convenient.

Very nice modern hotel with plenty of easy (free) parking either in their lot or enclosed garage. Beds were comfortable & breakfast was quite good. If there was a negative it was the location is sandwiched between a freeway and a busy street so you can hear some traffic at night

Nice, spacious, clean rooms. Comfortable bed. The hotel is surrounded by highways so even on the top floor it is very loud. No problem if you have earplugs. The hotel shuttle service (Saturday and Sunday 3pm - 10pm) to downtown and surrounding areas is fantastic.

The rooms were big and spacious!! The kitchen was out of this world. There was even a dishwasher in the room, they had spoons and forks, anything you could want! I highly recommend this hotel.

We were not given the room I had booked on line. The room we were given alternately was still not comparable to the room I had booked online, however, it was satisfactory. The hotel is close to the highway and the traffic was very noisy. I had a fan app and turned that on and was able to sleep comfortably. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The breakfast was satisfactory with a wide variety of food. The mountain view was very pretty, but we were there just to spend the night and left very early in the morning, so there was no leisure time to sit and enjoy the view.

This day would’ve been OK. Had it not been for your morning staff. As we were getting ready to leave they were knocking on the door continuously. Service manager or somebody was pacing the hallways and rushing us out. We were just a few minutes past 11 however I was told by the staff earlier the day before that we may be a few minutes late getting out and they said that was OK. I will be asking for my money back as we left a Apple charging cord in the room. When we turned around to get it two minutes later, as staff was leaving the room, they said they couldn’t find it and it was already taken. They are not cheap. We did not appreciate the attitude of the cleaning staff. Unacceptable.

I had an extremely poor customer service experience. There was an error in billing. It took 4 calls to the hotel to get my money refunded. After the third call, they issued a refund, but not for the full amount. I had to call a forth time. When I did, they said that they did not refund the full amount because there is a charge for parking. We were never alerted to that cost. Frustrating and time consuming to say the least! The room was clean. Be aware that there is a lot of road noise from the adjacent highway.

We were in Asheville when the hurricane came through. The hotel lost power and water (like the rest of Asheville), but the hotel did whatever they could to accommodate. The Manager and staff was great. Thank you!

I enjoyed the front desk staff and breakfast staff. But the maid staff kept on knocking in my door asking when i was checking out. I feel like that info should've been communicated to the maid staff so they could stop interrupting my peace. I felt safe in this hotel and i enjoyed the quiet atmosphere

Best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel in the states. They had healthy options and everyone in the family enjoyed it. Clean and comfortable beds. A short drive into downtown Asheville. Would definitely stay here again.

Wow this place is awesome. We stayed in a double bed suite which was so spacious with a full kitchen and the views are unbelievable! I've never met a friendlier staff from the minute we checked in to the moment we left. There was a reception in the afternoon with snacks and free beer and wine. Full hot breakfast is fantastic. Excellent hotel! Just know it's 12.00 to park on site.

Far enough from downtown which avoided all of the foot traffic and transients. Relatively quiet except for emergency and large vehicles. Corridors kept very clean and tidy. Breakfast was very mediocre, at least if you wanted anything hot. Cold options and coffee machine were great.

We stayed at Element to go to Biltmore Estate. The hotel was just a short drive from there, 10 minutes. It was very clean and nicely furnished. There were only two things we were a little disappointed in. There are no fans in the bathrooms and the breakfast was not good. All of the food was cold and flavorless. We had to go somewhere else and get breakfast before our tour of Biltmore. We would stay there again if we go back to the area.
