Quality Inn Asheville Airport

The curtain couldn’t close all the way (only our room, all other rooms were closed). I think one of the curtain hangers fell off the rack or something. To close the curtain I had to tie it up myself with a hair tie. The phone jack was ripped out of the wall so our phone couldn’t work. We had to walk to the front desk to request more towels since the phone didn’t work. The breakfast was a waffle maker with batter to make your own waffle. Only syrup was provided. They also had apples, bananas, fruit loops, raisin bran, yogurt, and blueberry muffins. The pool was also dirty and the hot tub wasn’t hot. It was the same temp as the pool. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the room was really clean.

The parking lot had dark spots which is not good for feeling safe. The floor of the lobby was full of mud. The room I was given, was not cleaned when I opened the door. The next room was better. The breakfast was pathetic. No coffee, not even an attempt at hot water. No waffle, a basket of apples, yogurt, and microwave sandwich, is not breakfast. No coffee is epic failure. I would not being leaving a negative review if you had hot coffee.

Mostly clean and comfortable- walls a bit thin though (we were awakened by loud neighbors getting in late). Accessibility note- didn’t see an elevator anywhere for floor two rooms. Overall, happy with our stay and would come back for an economic option near the airport.

Checked in around 10:30 pm and there was a serious lack of parking spaces. Room was very acceptable and pretty clean.

The pool water was green. There were cigarette butts everywhere that never got cleaned up during our three day stay. The walkways were very dirty with stains everywhere...it needs to be pressure cleaned and painted. The room was okay but the floors were sticky from whatever they used to clean the floors and the elastic in the sheets was so worn that they kept coming away from the mattress. Breakfast was very disappointing as well. No hot breakfast, like eggs and some type of meat. Free breakfast advertising is misleading. Overall, not a very good experience. No more Quality Inn for me, even with the value pricing . There are better chains out there in the same price point.

Shuttle driver was awesome. Came early and very informative. Reception staff was courteous and answered all questions. Laundry room in poor shape; 2 out of 3 machines did not work. Good value for price. I'd stay again...no way my wife would!

The breakfast menu was serviceable - did not have high expectations so no disappointment. But the hotel was a fine place to stay and the hotel staff were excellent. They went out of their way to be helpful and scheduled the airport shuttle without even asking them. Yes, I’d stay here again!

Had to switch out rooms at the beginning due to a broken toilet, but person at front desk was very accommodating. Long term parking right next to hotel. So it was convenient to get to airport.

Beds weren’t super comfy but fine. Clean. Would stay here again if i needed a ride to the airport.

Worst property by far I have stayed. This is a motel with doors facing parking lots. No elevator for 2nd floor. Only a waffle maker and muffins for continental breakfast. Wifi did not work throughout the stay and staff kept making excuses. Smelly floor with open cracks and unhygienic bathrooms. The only good thing for me was location and good dining options nearby. Would not stay again

Shortly after checking in we discovered our room had bed bugs.I'd only been laying on the bed for a short time and got up to use the restroom. While washing my hands. I noticed a bug on my shirt. After investigating. I was able to see that it was a bed bug and we immediately left. The young lady at the desk was very apologetic and called her manager to get directions on how to process the refund. I was very disappointed.

Came to Asheville to visit Biltmore with a friend, something we do several times a year. We have stayed at various hotels and this was by far, the worst. Corners in the room especially the bathroom were caked with dirt, hair, and who knows what else. Almost as bad were the corners in the room. There was only ONE plug that worked in the room!!! No matter how we flipped switches, tried different chargers, etc we were limited to ONE plug. There was a plug in the bathroom but it was by the sink. There was barely enough room to leave a phone to charge it!! The ONE plug was on the table between the beds. We had to unplug the lamp (leaving the room dark except for the bathroom light) to plug in ONE phone. There was a plug bank on the table but only one of the plugs could be used. Very frustrating. Breakfast was a disappointment. Both the coffee and hot water were warm, certainly not hot. On our second morning, the trash appeared to not have been emptied, certainly the trash can wasn't wiped down. The fridge wasn't really cold so there is concern that the food may not have been kept at the proper temperature and could have spoiled. On the upside,it did appear that the tables and counter had been wiped down. The bed and pillows were comfortable, nothing exceptional. I do believe that someone had smoked while in that bed at a previous time. While the hotel is 100% no smoking, I think someone got by with a cigarette. Price was high considering. Will not return.

The front desk service was courteous and efficient. The room was very dirty the floors look like they have not been swept and the heating / air conditioning unit is filthy grimy. There was food and trash on the floor behind the bathroom door

Very old property. Walls are paper thin and you can hear the neighbors all night. Couldn’t sleep. Industrial part area so lots of trucks and noise. Why wife would not have stayed if she were here. Not the best area, or facility. Pay more and get a place you can feel safe in.

The AC in my room did not really cool the air much if at all

The room was clean and a good size for a solo traveler. The staff was excellent. A little noisy in the morning, and the hot water wasn't reliable. Bonus for beautiful sunrises. Very convenient location.

Staff was friendly, no hot water really, massive chunks out of the floor, doors don’t shut all the way, there is a big gap, for $75 a night I didn’t think it would be a 2 star motel.

Only serviceable. The doorframe was an inch too big for door. Leaked light and noise. Did not feel secure.

It was good except for few things. Two things not serious, but one very wet. There was no available plug for the coffee maker so we had to move it to the sink. The chair arm to the desk was completely broken off the top on one side and the most serious and safety issue was the smoke alarm was covered with some sort of fabric in Tod. I notified the office. They said they were not aware of this, but we didn’t notice it till we were ready to check out and have been there all night. Other than that I would’ve put excellent

The internet speed was advertized as 50 MBPS but it was only 0.28 MBPS in the room. Horrible. Couldn't get on my meeting with that speed or get my work done

Room was very nice and clean, really pleased. Wi-Fi was nonexistent. I talked to the front desk clerk, and she said there was nothing she could do. If you really need Wi-Fi, don't stay here. Otherwise, great rate for the room.

Nice helpful staff

The property is fine for a night. Nothing fancy but fit the bill when our flight got cancelled and our luggage was lost. Jeannette at the front desk was fantastic though. She hooked us up with toothbrushes, toothpaste and muffins and fruit for the next morning. After a long stressful day we were thankful for her hospitality!

Check was great. Got in a few minutes but Jeanette was able to check me in. She was super friendly. Location was easy. Plenty of parking. The room was really clean and very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

I was ill when I arrived early and they got a room ready for me right away and allowed me to check in early.

I called from my room and asked for a 4am wakeup call so i would be ready for 4:45 shuttle to airport to catch my 5:30am flight. I woke up at 4:50am in a panic that I would miss my flight. No wake up call what so every, very very disappointed. I ran through the airport and begged people to let me go in front of them. Just barely made my boarding time.

I called the hotel early on the 19th to let them know that we would be getting in late due to traffic on our way. I made sure to inform the front desk it would be early morning on the 20th. I was assured it was fine. When we arrived at 4am we were told our reservation was cancelled, we didnt have a room, and that we wouldnt be charged... funnily enough i was charged and we ended up having to sleep in our car. Im disgusted with this hotel and their customer service. Complete lack of communication, customer service, and integrity. There are plenty of other hotels in the area, use one of those.

The property is very clean, as are the rooms. Kudos to the housekeeping staff. The gentleman that checked me in had zero personality. He didn't say good evening, welcome in, how may I help you. When he gave me my room he didn't tell me how park - which in that particular hotel you have to go only one direction. When I got to my room it smelled like cigarette smoke, or pot. I called down and he said he would change rooms. No apology. I went down to get my new room he didn't say I apologize for the inconvenience. He didn't say have a good night, again, he didn't tell me where to park for this oddly located room. I went down later to get a fork, he was very matter-of-fact and again no have a good night, or anything. If it weren't for him I would give this a five star rating. While cleanliness is most important to me, quality service runs a very close second.

I arrived with a service dog, and I was told no pets were allowed and I advised he was not a pet he was a service dog and the desk agent repeated again no pets. It was very disappointing that I needed to explain a service dog is allowed by law to be in a public place.

Great budget hotel, clean, quiet. We stayed 1 night just driving through Ashville. They had a nice continental breakfast, day office staff was nice and recommended a great place to eat for lunch.

Nice place, but continental breakfast was quite unimpressive.

Even though it was near the airport it was very quiet. Great variety of food for breakfast.

It is well located for our needs when we are in the Asheville area and the breakfast choices are very good.
