Extended Stay America Premier Suites - Bluffton - Hilton Head

Every entrance to the building had people smoking cigarettes in front of. So although the building is "smoke free" the smoke travels in and it just stinks. The front desk staff were actually nice and helpful. The rooms were for sure cleaner than most extended stays we've been too, but the hallways, elevator, and lobby we're not as clean. Internet was also very slow and the parking lot was pretty sketchy. Breakfast was nothing more than coffee and some granola bars and an apple. For the price it wasn't horrible but probably wouldn't stay again.

Many times I brace myself for a tolerable stay in a hotel, but I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and how well-maintained room was! I stayed only one night because I was working out of town for a couple of days, so I didn’t get to make use of the gym or laundry room. They offered a small serve yourself breakfast, which was OK.

Very nice, comfortable, and spacious room. Staff were nice and check-in was prompt. Good parking. Most definitely would stay again.

This place is missing a business center. An outlet over the stovetop was not working in our room. Other than that, it was not bad.

Visited here over the fourth of July holiday. Hotel had everything we needed for our two night stay. Breakfast is minimal with mostly granola bars, coffee and yogurt. Close enough to the beach for us without having to spent HHI prices. However, I am confident there are long term residents living there as there were grills in the bushes and people hanging out at the picnic tables most of the day. Overall, I felt safe and it served our needs.

This place is NOT 8 out of 10. Its fine but definitely not anything special. Don't be fooled by it saying it has breakfast. Some stale cereal bars and crappy coffee is NOT breakfast. Had a few bugs in our bathtub, bathtub didnt drain, ice machine was broken, etc. Staff was nice and overall property is clean though.

Newer hotel in nice area. We stayed 1 night on our way back from Florida with our pup. Additional charge for a dog was reasonable at $25. Bed was comfortable and room was clean with vinyl flooring - easy to wipe up from his water dish. Just off a main road, with sidewalks and not a lot of traffic for dog walks. Breakfast was just grab and go, would have preferred a bit more selection, orange juice, fruit, etc but would stay here again.

Hotel is basic. Not bad, not amazing. The general area and streets around hotel were good for walking a dog and safe. However, there were lots of people loitering in the parking lot both morning and evening, drinking beers and hanging out. Can’t say anything about breakfast as I didn’t eat it.

Everyone professional. Everyone polite. Property around hotel impeccably neat and ckean.

The first room we were given smelled of urine. The staff quickly gave us another room, apologizing and stating that it was a pet friendly hotel.

The room was filthy. Mold in shower. Floor had crumbs and was sticky. Bedding looked like it had been used. They advertised a lower price and since I had not paid yet the clueless assistant manager would not give us that price. I asked to speak to the manager many times and they never called us. Breakfast was a JOKE and not as described. Only thing in room was 2 tiny bars of soap and a tiny tiny shampoo. No hair dryer not even tissues.NOTHING IN KITCHEN AT ALL. Never again with them and I have had no luck with Expedia!!!!!!

The bottom of the tub was grimy, the shower stall appeared to have mold, the bottom of the desk chair hadn't been cleaned in months. The room wasn't ready until 3:30 and the desk people disappeared for over 30 minutes. Never again. The first room had a running toilet and a broken phone. No hot breakfast,

The place is okay. My main complaint is that our room was not properly cleaned when we arrived. The floor felt gritty and it wasn't clean. Our socks were full of dirt and stained brown when we walked.

This place might be the best value in the area. The nicest and most helpful staff to cleanliness is always on point. Great beds, and ok pillows. Overall for the price and what you get you won't find a better deal in the area. Stay at this place 2x a month on business.

I am reporting the hotel to the local health department due to the unsanitary and hazardous conditions. There was trash in the common areas and on the only operational elevator, the floors were not vacuumed, and there was vomit in the fire escape stairwell that remained the entire time of my stay. The second floor was also infested with roaches, my room and I learned two other guests had roaches. Since I booked through Expedia, nothing could be done to provide remediation. Expedia should not provide this hotel as a habitable option for guests.

Was disappointed in the cleanliness of the bathroom. Hair accumulation in the corners beside the tub. One towel dirty and hair on other towels. Shower curtain dirty at the bottom looked like it never gets changed. Beds were comfortable. No coffee maker. Also no toilet paper there was 1/4 roll that’s it. This room was expensive and we expected at the very least cleanliness

Clean, quiet property and friendly staff.

The staff was nice and friendly The room, however, is like a dorm room. Very sparse. No closet, just hooks to hang clothes. One tiny round piece of soap. One small trash can and that was in the bathroom. One small mirror and that also was in the bathroom. Very limited “breakfast”. Didn’t see a pool. I guess you get what you pay for.

There are no dressers for clothes. We had a kitchenette unit with no glasses or dishes. Bathroom was nice and bed was comfortable.

The check in was slow, the TV didn't work, calling from the room, no on would answer, have to be moved to another room, the bathroom door would get stuck on the floor

Nice hotel with spacious well appointed room. The room above us was very noisy because the uncarpeted floors made everything echo. Breakfast not so great...but overall good stay.

People in room above us were up at 5am every morning. They were pulling suitcases across the floor and walking nonstop for over an hour. Needless to say we were awakened and could not sleep during this time.

Excellent staff and hotel. Have stayed a number of times and it has always been a quality experience. Rooms are large and beds comfortable.

Basic decor but all the amenities necessary for an extended stay hotel. You do have to ask for what you need as they don’t fully stock every room, but the staff is friendly and helpful. We only stayed for one overnight as we were just passing through. There were a few cosmetic repairs that could be done but nothing that affected our very comfortable stay.

We enjoyed our stay. Beds are too small for a couple and the hotel is mostly for laborers staying for long periods of time. They ate up all of the breakfast first thing.

I was a little upset when we checked in took about 5 min to find someone to even check us in, we went down later to see if they had do not disturb sign no one at front desk, we needed a receipt upon checkout no one around we waited rang bell still no one

Staff is always great. New manager, he was very accommodating and great to work with.

We checked in at 9 pm only to be told that our "assigned" room was not ready. Maintenance person, who was staffing the front desk, told us they were short-staffed, then went to check on the status of the room he wanted to give us. Why assign a room if it's not going to be ready on time?

We booked a standard room but due to a cleaning mixup got a free upgrade to a suite. The suite was very spacious and had a full kitchen. Overall, it was pretty clean, but was missing basic amenities(hair dryer, coffee maker, etc) I would expect in a hotel. Not bad for this price point. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating.

I was checked in and assisted by the GM, Kelly. He took care of all my requirements with a smile and patience. He inquired each time I saw him, asking if I needed anything. I look forward to staying at this particular property the next time I am in the area.

It's a relatively new facility and reflects that, but it's not a good place to stay. We stayed two nights. We got there late Monday, tired from driving. We were put into a room and right from the start, we were hearing noises from the room above us. Stomping feet, furniture being moved, jumping around, etc. We figured we could handle it for one night because we were so tired. Still, it was a restless night, with noises continuing way past midnight. The next day, we couldn't find anyone in the office to say anything to. We got back to the room that day, our last day, around 4 pm and the same noises were already coming from the room...only worse! Again, no one around. We tried to get some sleep. It didn't work. At around midnight, our dog needed to go for a walk. As I was coming back, I saw a clerk checking someone in, and when he had a moment, I mentioned the excessive noise. He said he would call the room. The noises continued ALL NIGHT LONG! Again, hardly any sleep. The next morning, when I went to the check in desk, that same clerk was there and I asked him if he had done anything about the noises. He said he called the room and no one answered. That was it. No other explanation. No apology. Nothing. Those same noises had continued all night long once again. It's a shame because this hotel COULD be a nice place to stay but with the current lack of consideration and management, it is not. If we could give it a "zero" score, we would. For what you pay, it's not worth it.

The property seemed well kept and was in a good location for me to comfortably leave items in the back of my truck.

May be my bad for not knowing what extended care means. No maid service unless you stay for longer than a week. The "grab n go" breakfast was cookies. it was supposed to be available at 6:30. went to lobby after 7, coffee was empty. I asked employee what time was breakfast she said 6:30. It was after 7. Seems more of a section 8 type hotel. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Hallways were not even vacuumed, didn't seem like the employees took much pride in their job. Once bitten twice shy.

If you’re looking for an inexpensive, far-below average property to stay, this is for you! Very small room with no drinking glasses, dishes, silverware, etc., etc. It has a stove, fridge…but no pans to cook!?! Your onsite dining/snacks are vending machines. Breakfast is coffee, prepackaged muffins, breakfast bars…that’s it! You’ll also need to request extra pillows, comforters and toilet paper as the room comes with one roll of one-ply. House-keeping is scheduled at one week, although extra amenities are available if you go to the front desk, (which they claim is available 24 hours a day), we often had to wait for anyone to show up. Maybe next time we’ll look for a Motel 6 as it would be a nice upgrade!
