從房間就可以看到鴨川，很愜意。飯店外觀非常漂亮，看起來很新穎；內裝比較偏向舊飯店，但算舒適整齊。雙床房比較沒有走路的空間，大行李箱要在門口的地方打開；獨立於浴廁外的洗手台很好用。加購的早餐家人很喜歡，餐點項目很多元、也很別緻，口味也很好，服務的女士也非常有禮貌。遇到比較大的問題，是公共區的洗脫烘衣機無法把衣服烘乾，花了蠻多時間和精神在處理衣服的問題，但前台應盡可能提供幫助。

Right next to the Keihan Gojo Station with a Family Mart and 7-11 across the street. One subway stop or short cab ride away from Yasaka Shrine and Gion Street. Amenities include slippers, electric water kettle, mini fridge, bidet, facial cleaner and lotion, toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, hair brush, body scrub towel, and green tea. Free sample size sake between after 3pm. Coin operated all-in-one washer-dryer on the 1st floor. You need to run the dryer a few times before your clothes will fully dry. They do not provide house keeping, but if you leave your trash and towels outside your room before 11, they will empty and exchange them respectively. Bottled water was provided at check-in. The hotel is located on a big street so it can get a little noisy if you sleep by the window. My friend who slept by the wall side didn't hear any of the noise.

Friendly, helpful staff. Good size room. Loved the fact it had a hallway with sliding door to bedroom. We have travelled around Japan and out of 4 hotels this is the only one we could get netflix/youtube on. Which when yoj are travellingvjyst upu and an 11yr old is a blessing after 14 days on the road. Breakfast was amazing. Lots of variety, across the nations. Fridge and safe in room. Rain head shower along with handheld. Good location with easy route to Nara and Golden Pavillion. Convenience stores opposite. We also ate in the chicken shop opposite. Food was good. They also do take out. Free courtesy bus to train station. Only small critisism is there is tea in the room but no coffee and no microwave for guests to use in the evening. Otherwise a perfect stay and would 100 percent book again if in Kyoto.

Pas de café dans la chambre, seulement au distributeur du hall de 15 à 21h. Aucun ménage dans la chambre au cours d’un séjour de 4 nuits. Chose this hotel for it's proximity to the train station, Gion and Nishiki market. We had a room w/2 twin beds. Very comfortable and a good size. Great shower. Clean. It was our favorite hotel of the trip (stayed @ 2 others). Staff was so nice and accommodating. Several spoke english perfectly which was helpful. Lawson and 7-11 across the street if you want an early morning coffee.

Perfect location for sights and close to a subway station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great firm beds and pretty quiet rooms (ours was towards back alley). Room was maybe a bit run down already, so that’s why one star out of clenliness, but definitely not anything super dirty. Breakfast was great opportunity to try out local food. Great value for the money!

It is a very nice hotel with very welcoming staff. The room was lovely,!spacious and very clean. They provide shower gel , shampoo and conditioner and there’s 2 shower heads , the one with mist was so nice. The blanket was super cozy but pillows a bit hard . There is a train station only a couple of minutes away and combini across the street. They also offer free transportation to Kyoto station. The only down side for me was the music until late in the hallway which you didn’t hear once the siding door in the room was closed.

スタッフは不親切ではないが、京都特有のよそよそしさがある。ホテルの名前を覚えてなくて、おまけにタブレットが繋がらず、スタッフにwi-fiを使わせて欲しいと頼んでいたら、奥から来たスタッフに「何しに来たんですか」と言われた。間違いなくこのホテルだから良かったものの、客に対してあのような態度を取るというのはどうしたものか。もし別のホテルだったら、どんなふうに罵られたのか、興味がある。ホテルの部屋には折りたたみ机があるだけで、椅子もないから、お茶も立ってのむしかない。共同仕事スペースはあるが、プライベートな作業は不可である。シャワーだけでお風呂はないので、エレベーター内に近所の銭湯のおすすめが出ている。もう少し良く調べておくべきであった。

This hotel was a great value for the room and breakfast buffet provided. I was concerned I might regret choosing it, over the Doubletree next door, but ended up being happy with the decision. Nice way to experience a variety of Japanese foods for breakfast, also. Not in a happening part of Kyoto, but convenient to the stations that take you there.

My friend and I stayed at 3 different hotels while we were in Japan and Hotel Abest was our most favourite one - we would joke "Hotel Abest is the best". We liked the fact that the hotel was right in front of Kiyomizu-Gojo station, so it made travel around the city more easy. Also nice because it was only a 19-minute walk to Nishiki Market and 20-minute walk to the Gion area. There was a Lawson and Family Mart convenience store right across the street from us too. The staff were very polite and friendly and always greeted us when we would come and go through the lobby. I would stay here again if I came back to Kyoto :)
