We booked for our 5 year anniversary which happens to be on July 4th. We had a perfect view of the fireworks! One problem with our room was that the balcony door would not latch properly unless you slammed it shut, which you can’t do in a hotel without disturbing a neighbor. Also the deadbolt on the balcony door did not work, so the door opened in the middle of the night. Front desk seemed disinterested when I told them about the door. Said “it just takes a while to figure out”. Also be prepared to use the stairs or plan for long wait times at the two extremely slow elevators.

We arrived there and found the pool water very cloudy and made your swimming cloths and towels stink very bad. The pool heater had the pool water real hot not warm but hot. I told the management about this they told me everything is fine and finally they close the pool.

Modern beach front hotel with everything you need! Free breakfast, nice pool overlooking the dunes/beach/ocean, restaurant/bar, Starbucks, walking distance to many attractions and businesses, free parking Monday - Thursday. Perfect room set up for sleeping. Balcony with ocean view. Large walk in closet. Could use extra hooks for towels and an mirror so people can get ready even if someone else is using the bathroom, but we made it work.

The breakfast was awesome. Close to the beach. The pool was closed.for 1 week but that is understandable maintaining a pool has to be done. But so close to the beach the pool wasn't a big deal

Excellent service upon check in/out. Valet was inexpensive, easy to use and quick service. Surrounding restaurants, retail and amenities were all in walking distance from property. Excellent location in the center of JAX Beach!

We were not aware of the valet parking that was mandatory prior to the stay. The attendants were very polite and helpful. The room itself had good views but turned out to be quite noisy till very late. The room was also in need of some repair, i.e. the toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall, the door to the mini fridge did not open easily, neither did the door to the balcony. The pillow was very thin, and the bed was not terribly comfortable. It was convenient to have the couch as a trundle, but if you have two children someone is going to get stepped on getting off the couch. The floor felt like there was already sand on it when we got int he room. When we had to move the couch over a little bit there was tons of debris underneath. We did not use the pool, but the morning buffet was good. The cleaning staff was nice and gave us fresh towels when we needed them. The barn door for the bathroom is not at all practical, because the light wakes everyone up if someone goes in the middle of the night and you hear everything through it. not as much privacy as you would want. Over all if it was just my boyfriend an I, we would pick this hotel and room again, but difficult with teenagers. Location was great and accessible to a lot of things.

One of my rooms was ready after 5 pm, we had to wait an hour for it. Rooms were not very clean, they can do better. When I asked for 30 min late check out in all 3 rooms, they only offered 1 room late check out, which ruin my day. I asked the clerk to make an exception since we waited and hour for one of our rooms and she told me that me in 1 room with 7 people having my zoom meeting was their way to make an exception. Literally, I left early to a restaurant where i had my meeting.

Floor in room had sand on it. Sink in bathroom did not drain properly and the air conditioner did not work to cool the room. Had to call front desk to get the in room safe to work correctly. The lock on the door to the balcony did not work well. Parking options other than valet are not well lit and did not feel safe for single people. However, I will say, the staff at the front desk and valet were fantastic.

I was extremely disappointed. They had locals coming in and out of the pool area. Multiple people would come in from the beach and jump in the the pool with their surf boards and not showering. The pool area was full of trash and not well taken care of. Our rooms were hot and poorly maintained. They put us in one room that had no view and no balcony, then when they moved us the room was even dirtier and barely had a balcony. We couldn’t sit out there or even be out there all as a family. Not to mention the noise, there was no sleep!!! Which if you’re traveling with two kids, sleep is treasured. At 2am there was a lady running the halls yelling “I got the Hennessy!!!!!”. I was just disappointed because we spent over $500 for a nice family time and all I left with was tired and grumpy mom!

We arrived around 9:30 PM driving in from South Carolina. Our room was 75 degrees when we arrived so we turned the unit down to cool things off. It wouldn't turn on so I went to the desk and they advertised that it would take the AC unit 30 minutes to turn on. So we waited and got ready for bed. Our 3 children were very tired and started to lay down for the night. By this point it was around 10:30 PM and the room was still 75 degrees. My husband went back to the front desk and asked about the AC not working. They sent maintenance at midnight. He agreed the unit wasn't cooling the room and brought us a box fan for the night as our children were asleep by this point. The night was miserable for us as the fan didn't stay placed and kept moving out of place. Around 3 AM it had moved to face the door so we had to move it back every 2 hours. We didn't sleep much at all and received virtually no help from staff. For the price per night, you'd think you'd get better accommodations or at least moved to a room with functional AC.

The parking lot cross the street from the hotel they told me I can park there but they did not tell me that I will have to pay for a parking on the weekend and I had got two parking citations need to talk to someone about the refund on the parking citation never mentioned to me by the clerk or anyone else

The overall scenery is nice—you’ve got a lot of restaurants nearby and a beach right in front of you. But honestly, I don’t think it’s worth it. The walls are extremely thin, and the other guests were loud and disrespectful, especially when it came to cleanliness and noise levels. Don’t be fooled by the “free breakfast” either—the area gets trashed quickly and isn’t enjoyable. The restaurant in the building is terrible. I waited an entire hour for a single burger, and it was overpriced. A cocktail costs nearly $20 and wasn’t even good. The pool area isn’t maintained well, and the valet service is awful—I had to wait almost 30 minutes just to get my car. At that point, I’d rather park it myself. Also, being charged separately for lodging and parking feels greedy.

Room looks just like the pics. Room service never came to our room. We had to ask for towels and for the trash to be thrown away everyday. Beds were not comfy. Convenient walk to beach and surrounding locations for eating and gift shops are in walking distance. Staff were all very nice and helpful.

We really enjoy our stay. I like to give Pamela for excellent service she went above beyond. I love staying springhill great location and excellent staff. I wanted to make sure I give recognition to all staff that made my birthday weekend excellent Hunter,Jenez and Lindsey. I hope to visit very soon.

The property was beautiful and right on the beach. The room was clean and spacious and it is the perfect location if you prefer to walk around to nearby eateries or bars. They have parking options so valet is not forced on you. We did choose to valet as the rates were great and it was convenient. Staff here is also amazing and we would definitely stay here again!

I researched quite a bit to find the perfect property. This hotel provided just that. We had a heated pool and several options for relaxing by it. There was a surfing competition taking place some of the days and you could not hear anything from our room. I enjoyed the path right in front of the hotel between the hotel and ocean that was a great path for my morning walks. Beach was beautiful and clean and just steps away. We were able to walk to shopping, great food and atmosphere and breweries! Our goal was somewhere we didn’t need Uber or rental car and this hotel location met that expectation. We will definitely be back.

OMG. What can I say???Springhill Suites, Jax Beach is amazing. Super clean, super sleek, located in the middle of restaurants/bars and on the beach. Breathtaking views from all sides but I would definitely upgrade to the ocean view because it has a sitting balcony and chairs. Every corner of the hotel is clean and modern. We were able to find free street parking both nights. Apparently the public lots cost on the weekends. If your traveling on a modest budget, I wouldn't do valet. Great burger spot is Relish with the best pumkin pie milkshake that is 2 blocks away. I would also recommend Dockside Seafood (2 miles away). I didnt get a chance to try the onsite restaurant but the breakfast was great. The hotel itself is quiet but Saturday night the area is lively. Very safe area but great people watching and some noise outside on the street balcony view. I cant wait to return. The bars nearby looked ready for Sunday NFL football with big screens and plenty of seating. Oh and staff were always present, ready to help or assist and the cleaning crew comes daily.

Rooms are new, clean and very comfortable. But stay on the oceanside. There is a bar across the street on the west side and it is very loud. The bar doesn’t close until 2am and the exterior walls don’t keep the noise out.

We had a balcony facing the ocean and it was amazing! We saw sunrise every morning and steps away from the beach. The staff were excellent and the breakfast buffet was excellent. It is located in an area with many young people enjoying the nightlife so it can get a bit loud, but not too bad. Overall, highly recommend this place!

So this hotel is clean the staff is nice and this hotel is updated and has great access to the beach. I'm so picky Abt were I stay and it being nice and clean. This hit the spot, also they have a hot BIG NICE breakfast, the best breakfast we have ever had in a hotel trust me.

Great place to stay. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel was right on the beach and convenient to the pier. Valet parking was a nice option with a free lot across the street. Breakfast was ok. It was nice having a Starbucks attached to the hotel. While we didn't get to try the Sandbox Restaurant it seemed popular. V pizza was a hit and just across the street. There was a lot of night life just outside the hotel. It didn't affect us but there could be a fair amount of street noise. It was a great place to stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Everything was wonderful, except the continental breakfast was a little sub par. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. Plus you get to just walk out to the beach! I would definitely stay again.
