Definitely an "adventure" staying here. The area felt a little sketchy — a drifter asked me for a holy Bible, which honestly felt pretty on-brand for the vibe. Our "non-smoking" room smelled like it had hosted the Marlboro Man’s retirement party. The bed was surprisingly comfy, but the blankets had a charming hint of Eau de BO. Parking lot was basically a graveyard of cigarette butts. On the bright side, they let us check in early and didn’t charge extra for our dog — probably because they figured he couldn’t lower the property value any further.

This is exactly what we needed and expected. Drove 11 hours to this motel needing a dog friendly easy access room. Ours perfrctly fit the bill. Note this is a basic motel. No perks like in room coffee but was spacious, very clean, and had ample room to exercise dogs. Only wish others would have picked up their dog waste...motel provides bags and disposal.

We learned basketball kids are rude and loud. There was a big bb tournament in town and those kids have no consideration for anyone else. The rooms are far from sound proof, bed linens and towels have a gross smell, and the place needs a update. It is a well lit parking lot, with a lot of signs telling you to lock your vehicle. We felt safe enough but overall the check in staff was the only excellent thing about the hotel.

1: poor customer service, the guy was on the phone the whole time he checked me in. 2: disgusting room, bed bugs, smells even though it's a non smoking room. 3: apparently the AC is controlled by the front desk and he didn't bother to mention that. Will not go back.

The whole outside smells like sewage and the non smoking room smelled like smoke but it was late and I thought ok we can make it work. Well, it’s straight up in the hood. And besides that I woke up the next morning with a ROACH crawling on my pillow! The only good thing I can say is that I had paid for 3 nights and they refunded a portion of that… I had to fight for it but I was able to have something to switch hotels

I stopped here to sleep during a road trip. I felt like the area was kind of sketchy but it was only one night and the room seemed pretty clean. Imagine my delight when I found a bed bug on my pillow. I was even more delighted when the desk clerk didn’t believe me and wanted me to go back up to the room with him, keep in mind I am female and traveling alone. Completely inappropriate. I showed him a picture but wouldn’t go back up there. He then told me he could not issue a refund until he spoke to management. I asked him to have the manager contact me, wrote my name, phone number and room number down and I haven’t heard anything nor have I received a refund.

This location felt unsafe. People were yelling at each other outside my room, and the property was rundown and dirty. The motel room itself at least had a relatively new floor, but overall felt pretty gross. Hair, dirt, stained towels, cigarette burn hole in comforter. People gave this place good reviews, but I don’t get it. Steer clear of this place!

Everything was functional and clean, except the restroom floor needs better cleaning especially in the corners and around the toilet. Couldn’t find any pen or paper. The tv had a pretty small screen and the tv signal would often go blank. When the tv signal came back a different program was on. It was raining and a lot of water came off the front of the second floor walkway down to the sidewalk below and you couldn’t walk from a ground floor room to your car in the parking lot without getting wet from the runoff from the walkway above. The receptionist provided basic assistance but wasn’t friendly. The total bill was $85 but it wasn’t worth that.

I’ve stayed in other rooms that We’re not that bad. But this one was really bad. The shower did not work properly and the tub would not drain. It was not very clean this time. The floors were dirty. The shower curtain was nasty.

Whole place smelt of Marijuana, bathroom was pretty dirty, and pillows and bed were uncomfortable. If you want a cheap 1 night stay then it's okay. Wouldn't bring my family again tho

The remodel was definitely a good move for this Motel 6. Room had a nice modern feel to it with great tv/movie choices and a decently comfortable bed. The only part that is a bit underwhelming is the tiny bathroom. Make sure to bring your own bathroom necessities because they do not provide any Other than a bar of soap. Good spot if you are looking for a cheap stay with some food choices near by.

Room was clean enough and bed was fine. There was no hot water and only a few electrical outlets worked. It was a late check in and early check out, so it worked to crash. Would not recommend or stay there again.

Stayed 3 nights. Motel was newly renovated and room was clean. Check in was simple and they accommodated my special needs. Shower was hard to get to fully pull and drain was a tad slow, but water pressure was amazing. Towels are small. There was some questionable people that would pull in and out of the property but they kept to themselves. Motel is surrounded by food options which was nice.

We booked a non-smoking room. The room that we were assigned smelled heavily of stale smoke. We were met with “Some guests smoke in the room anyway”. The back of the bathroom door was disgusting.

I am a nurse traveler, so I have had multiple stays at this motel over the last few months. It is within eight miles of the hospital, located around several choices of restaurants and shops, seems to be a safe environment, and is always clean. The only down side is some of the rooms have a very low water pressure and the water temp is low. Otherwise, a good stay.

This is week 2 that I stayed, I left last Tuesday morning at checkout and the guy claim they sent my deposit back to my debit card and my card wouldn't let them so they sent it to Expedia. I paid for the room through Expedia not my deposit, and now it's been a week, and they charged me another deposit when I came back Tuesday night. i need that money for food for me and my cat that is pregnant but they seem to not care if we starve as long as they get their money. This has been horrible and I will never stay at motel 6 again, and I will be telling everyone that I come into contact with about my experience at motel 6.

I was turned away before I could get the room that I had already reserved. Despite having talked to someone at the property to let them know we would be a late check-in, we still were denied our room. The front desk clerk looked like he was asleep or stoned out of his mind, and it took 2 phone calls, 10 minutes and about a dozen rings of the bell to even get him to the desk. We had to sleep in our CAR because of the clerk refusing us a room. I am highly dissapointed in Motel 6 and I will never book there again.

I booked a stay here through Expedia but when we got there to check in, the front desk didn’t show a reservation for me. The man was super nice and helped us out with getting a room for the night. He even matched the Expedia price! Super friendly. The rooms were good for the price. Bed was super comfortable!

Brackets and hooks were not secured. There was no way to use the TV cabinet as a desk as there were no electrical ports. The area is not exactly the greatest part of Wichita.
