Genuinely one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Terrible rooms. Uncomfortable and unkept. The valet service is useless and expensive. If you have anywhere to be be sure to get your car requested an hour in advance.

Hotel was very nice. It’s downtown so busy to get to in rush hour but in good distance to walk to various restaurants. It seems like a trendy area. Parking is quite expensive. We paid $38 a day which is nearly $50 Canadian a day which is insane considering it’s already an expensive stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room must have been missed for house keeping but they came when we mentioned it to the front desk. My husband checked out the fitness center and said it was really nice and had all equipment you would need for a full body workout. It was a nice experience

It was lovely!! Will stay there again for sure. The only way to improve it is to add vending machines, ice machines, and an ATM. Those certainly aren’t dealbreakers. The restaurant and coffee shop and buzz at the hotel were palpable. Looking forward to my next stay!

Stayed for a concert at the Armory. Very convenient to our event. Beautiful building inside! Bathroom was very large with an all glass shower. Only complaint is the self parking option. Very little information given as to how to get into the parking ramp during weekend hours. The building isn't open so the only option is buzzing security. Perhaps give a handout with instructions that say go to the GOLD doors across from the Large 3 flags flying and press the button for security. Grateful our wild goose chase was not during a -20 below day. Given 3 very different instructions to get to our vehicle . Ultimately beautiful hotel! Valet parking may be worth the upcharge.

Hi. The room was not properly cleaned during parts of our stay. A dirty glass left on the fridge, the toilet not cleaned for days. The fact that the only curtains were shear was not good. Upon checkin, we were told we were getting a good view, we got to the room and it was a view of other rooms across from us.

I wanted to love this hotel, and there were definitely parts of it that were great, such as the easy access to public transportation, restaurants, downtown, riverwalk, etc. And I loved the greenery in the atrium/lobby area! Unfortunately, for some odd reason, housekeeping missed our room ALL FOUR DAYS of our stay, except for the first (the day we arrived). But the remainder of our stay, we had to go downstairs to complain and ask for additional coffee for our room, clean towels, and extra toilet paper. We also asked them to be sure to PLEASE clean our room on the following day, and each time, they missed our room. We can't figure it out. We did NOT have the "Do not disturb sign on" and we specially ASKED for a cleaning. So, I don't believe it was anything WE did. Additionally, the internet in our room went out for 3 of the 4 nights we stayed there. My partner ended up playing "IT GUY" to help them finally solve their WiFi/Internet access issues. So, that was really annoying too. (We love to binge-watch late-night shows when vacationing.) On top of those two things, there was a wedding in the hotel this weekend, and we were NOT told that a) it would be VERY LOUD on Saturday night, and b) the hotel restaurant would be closed that night for the private event. (And it happened to be the one night we were planning to eat there.) Just a lot of little inconveniences added up to a disappointing stay. The hotel staff is friendly, but they weren't very responsive. 2 stars.

This hotel is stunning. Everywhere we went in the hotel I couldn't stop staring. The live plants, the color choices, everything was perfect. The front desk staff was fantastic every time we interacted - even just saying hello as we got off the elevators. The rooms were very clean and the bedding was comfortable. I have never stayed in a hotel room that was as quiet as this one. No weird sounds from the A/C, and very minimal sound from outside could be heard. My only complaint (and it's mostly my fault) is that I didn't realize until checkout that they have complimentary valet service, however now I know for next time and makes this hotel even more of a gem when staying in Minneapolis! I am trying to find excuses to come back and stay at the Emery!

Was expecting an Autograph experience and was disappointed by this property overall; didn’t feel like it was up to that standard. Check-in was brusque, with no real welcome, no explanation of anything on the property, and no acknowledgment of Bonvoy status. Another front desk staff was borderline rude. Restaurant was average with very spotty service. Plenty of working space if you can endure the hordes at the small coffee shop (that you can’t bill to your room). Rooms are on the small side and color scheme is dark but not sexy; whole property felt like it needs a lighting consultation. One front desk staff did me a super solid and I really appreciated her. Also: Really nice, well-equipped gym.

This is now my favorite hotel in Downtown Minneapolis. Location, rooms, easy valet service, restaurant etc. One gripe though: curtains in the rooms are not blackout curtains. So in downtown the sheer drapes leave your room pretty bright. Bring a sleeping mask.

The hotel rooms were not very user friendly. Very few places to store items. A shelf at the bedside was totally too small. No drawers underneath to store books, glasses, etc. The safe sat on the floor in the closet, we had to get down on our knees to set lock & unlock. Closet had very little space to hang long items. In the bathroom, there was one small towel bar, a double hook. Nothing in the shower to hang a washcloth or wet towels or even outside the shower.. The room was extremely hot. Even though we set temperature at 71.........it never reached that temperature. We kept the room dark and night shades closed at all times to help keep room temperature down. There were no vending machines on any of the floors,very little offered in the way of water, sodas, juice, snacks in the lobby. They didn't sell any newspapers. My husband tried on Sunday to get change for $20, in order to leave room tip. The young lady was very helpful, she went to restaurant, coffee bar and even the valet but was unsuccessful. She deserved a merit badge for her efforts. The restaurant was excellent. The hotel did a great job of providing space, service and food/beverages for our grandson's wedding. We probably would not use the hotel again.

I was disappointed with my room. I booked a 1 bedroom suite, expecting an upper level room with a view. It turns out all of the 1 bedroom suites are on the 2nd floor and have a rooftop directly outside the windows with vents and other rooftop fixtures, and also looked directly into the windows of another building; you needed to keep the blackout shades down to avoid having people look in on you. On top of that, most of the ceilings and walls were painted chocolate brown, so the rooms were very dark and dingy...not what you would expect for suite prices in a boutique hotel. Lesser priced rooms and studio suites on upper floors were much nicer. They really should let people know in advance. On a positive note, the lobby area and the bar/restaurant was quite nice.

Enjoyed immediate access to downtown, building had nice vibe in restaurant and bar, room was clean and comfortable. The 10th floor we were hoping for a view, however had more a view to adjacent building and no way to vent or crack window for fresh air as detractions. Also parking is separate firm and very overpriced. All in all a great stay.

Super convenient property for whatever you have planned. Close to the light rail which can take you almost to any point of interest. Hotel has a great lobby area with a popular coffee shop. Rooms are fine size-wise. Boring decor if you care about that.

The rooms are clean and quiet. The building itself was a bank from the early 1900's, so it is very cool and unique. Cool coffee shop in the lobby area with some tasty breakfast options. It's a short 10 minute walk to US Bank Stadium. The hotel is connected to the skyway, so even on a bad weather day you can get around the downtown. The staff was great, friendly and helpful

The staff are horrible. They discriminated my friend just because he was black and the staff in front desk are very judgmental. It was supposed to be a free relax time at the hotel but it just caused me emotional distress. If they want I can make them go viral TikTok. I have so many followers on TikTok. I really really didn’t like her. I was treated at that hotel. It was wrong And they seem to care about my feelings because they were just laughing horrible staff at the front desk. I forgot to get his name. I think he’s a manager.

This is easily one of the most beautiful hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. It is elegant, there is a decadent coffee shop on the first floor, and the Italian restaurant on site is not to be missed. The staff were amazing and helpful. The room was luxury and clean. It was a lovely stay. Highly recommended. I would go back just to stay at this lovely hotel again.

I wanted to love this hotel, and there were definitely parts of it that were great, such as the easy access to public transportation, restaurants, downtown, riverwalk, etc. And I loved the greenery in the atrium/lobby area! Unfortunately, for some odd reason, housekeeping missed our room ALL FOUR DAYS of our stay, except for the first (the day we arrived). But the remainder of our stay, we had to go downstairs to complain and ask for additional coffee for our room, clean towels, and extra toilet paper. We also asked them to be sure to PLEASE clean our room on the following day, and each time, they missed our room. We can't figure it out. We did NOT have the "Do not disturb sign on" and we specially ASKED for a cleaning. So, I don't believe it was anything WE did. Additionally, the internet in our room went out for 3 of the 4 nights we stayed there. My partner ended up playing "IT GUY" to help them finally solve their WiFi/Internet access issues. So, that was really annoying too. (We love to binge-watch late-night shows when vacationing.) On top of those two things, there was a wedding in the hotel this weekend, and we were NOT told that a) it would be VERY LOUD on Saturday night, and b) the hotel restaurant would be closed that night for the private event. (And it happened to be the one night we were planning to eat there.) Just a lot of little inconveniences added up to a disappointing stay. The hotel staff is friendly, but they weren't very responsive. 2 stars.

The Emery Hotel exceeded every expectation. The ambiance is unmatched and the staff goes above and beyond. Even though we experienced a few hiccups with our reservation, The Emery is at the top of our list for ‘must return soon!’

Emery Autograph Collection was an amazing stay! The hotel is beautiful, the staff were so kind and helped give us recommendations of places to eat and visit. We loved the Italian restaurant inside the hotel, Giulia and the coffee shop was great with pastries and sandwiches. The hotel was in a great quiet area but walkable to the busy area of North Loop and some great restaurants. I would love to stay again!

The receptionist - I'm sorry I didn't get his name - was so friendly and helpful! My brother and I really felt welcome. The room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant, Giulia, where the staff also was friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the coffee bar was tasty, too; but there was a long line for placing orders.

This hotel was very nice. The staff was very good. It was in a good area close to a lot of places to go and do stuff. My only concern was the room. it had paint chipping off the walls in our room and some of it wasn’t the right color match but other than that good stay.

Lovely hotel in well-located downtown area. Room was not ready at check-in, had to change clothes for the event I was attending in the bathroom. Having said that, the bathroom was large and clean. Our room was ready 25 minutes later as we were walking out the door. Not as relaxing as I hoped after a 2.5 hour drive and a hassle parking. Staff was kind and empathetic. Both front desk receptionists were great. Room was clean (and I am definitely picky)! Bed was just okay. On the firm side yet seemed to be sagging. Bedding was crisp and comfortable. Pillows were "crunchy". Not uncomfortable, but had a slight odor... earthy. I would stay here again, if the price remains competitive. Thanks!

We spent our anniversary at the Emery and enjoyed the entire experience!!! The staff was very professional and friendly. The bar and the restaurant were both top notch!!! Would recommend staying there to anyone and look forward to our next visit!!
