The Millwood

No protected internet — apparently they don’t pay for the security certificate, so if you have security protections enabled on your work computer, you likely won’t be able to connect. They also charge for early check-in, which feels a little petty. That said, if secure internet isn’t important to you, it’s actually a decent little place in a good location. The rooms stay dark, the AC works great, the beds are reasonably comfortable, and the ladies at the front desk are very nice.

This small hotel is a gem. 5 minutes from SFO, it’s an oasis. Rooms a a little small but the linens on the bed were great, the lotions and shampoos were delightful, and the included breakfast was surprisingly great, with linen tablecloths, napkins, espresso, and a delicious spread. The staff I encountered was friendly and helpful. Top,notch!

Check in was easy and the employee was great. The door to my room kept shaking every time someone else closed their door. The top lock did not work and the bathroom sink was plugged up. The bed was comfortable. It was a good stay for the night

Breakfast was very nice. Staff was helpful. It’s a boutique motel. Not a boutique hotel.
