I have stayed here several times when visiting Madison. It is close to my son, as well as centrally located to almost everything,from the zoo, to downtown, and to the airport. I do wish they had a water and dryer on site for longer stays.

Beautiful brand new facility with excellent breakfast, weight room, cleanliness, staff. Unless you need gold painted fixtures I think this is about as good as you can.

You need better coffee. That was some of the worst coffee I ever had. Everything else was very clean and very nice. The gym could use some more equipment but it worked for the weekend.

Terrific experience! Check in was quick, smooth. She accommodated our special request which we appreciated. Well lit parking, easy access to shopping and restaurants. Room was very clean, AC worked great, awesome shower. Would definitely stay here again

Good hotel in good area. Easy to get to. Elevators sort of slow, hotel room door return is pretty powerful, a little hard to get in and out with bags.

Clean and comfortable and streamlined. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Appreciate the room has hard flooring and no drapes, helps with the allergies. Like the grab and go breakfast sandwiches and the 24/7 coffee and tea. Within walking distance to several restaurants. Quick drive to fast food and grocery. Only 10 mins from Madison.

The room was thoughtfully laid out - one firm pillow, one soft pillow on each side of the bed; plenty of place to hang or store suitcases and clothing without large dressers; comfy bed; blackout shade was the best we'd ever seen - actually blacked out the light with easy control; roomy bathroom, great shower, plenty of lights near the bed and around the room. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, with no waffle maker to generate a long line. Coffee available 24 hours a day. The staff members were all kind and efficient. We could hear some other guests, but most noise was muted by the great construction. Plenty of parking; great carts to help transport our luggage to and from the car. We hope to stay again.

This hotel is about 5 years old but looks like new. The staff obviously takes great pride in presentation and cleanliness. The staff was friendly and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Very kind and helpful staff. New and clean place. Not in the prettiest part of town, but access to Madison is fairly easy. It’s about 4 miles or 15-20 minutes by Uber (upon pickup) to downtown or campus. Hotel has a bright feel with lots of windows and an aquamarine paint palette for wall coloring. The carpet pleasingly matches. Super simple but ultra comfortable room. I wanted to stay in bed for two more hours. Nice bath. My fave: no shower curtain (that’s always a big plus). Double shades on the window: one for blackout, one for artistic opacity. Breakfast isn’t overdone and isn’t full of gross choices. Instead it’s good coffee, some fruit, granola bars, and breakfast sandwiches. Nothing fancy, but nothing that’ll yield a coronary either. Just simplicity that incurs a touch of elegance. It does use an amount of once-used stuff for immediate throw away though. Not sure I’d count on the hotel for a full-scale protein breakfast, but it offers a decent jump start. There’s a good bar and coffee shop nearby too.

Overall the stay was fine. The bed was not to my comfort level, as it was on the harder side. The room above me were either having a stomping contest or there is very little sound deadening between floors. The breakfast they provide had great choices. Everything was clean and in working order. Staying for one night would be fine as the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I would not stay here for any longer than that, as there are no dressers or closets. They have nobs/hooks on the wall to hang clothing. Looks like they're trying to achieve a "simple style" vibe. Breakfast. There was fruit, grains and hot food available. The hot food appeared to be microwaved which made the biscuits soggy and a bit unappealing. I had an egg, sausage w/cheese biscuits sandwich. The design of the breakfast area could use improving. The waste baskets are directly under the food prep counter. This led to a cluster of people trying to reach the waste bins, while others were making toast, bagels, etc. Granted, the hotel was full, so the breakfast area was busy. In general, it's a very clean property with comfy beds, offers a decent breakfast, and seems to be located in a safe area.

Third time staying at this location. Wonderful hotel. Rooms are a little smaller but have everything you need. Up to date and showers are great. Breakfast includes sandwiches, fruit, cereals and juices and coffee. Friendly staff. Feels upscale without the upscale price. Highly recommend

Wonderful experience at Avid. The 24 freshly ground brewed coffee was an amazing perk. We had a problem with the AC in our room and they moved us very quickly to a room on the same floor. We will definitely stay with them again.

Had a great week long stay at this hotel. Clean, quiet and staff were friendly and helpful. Had to make a call about a small issue with the toilet, although a message did not seem to be relayed to the maintenance staff, the woman at the front desk quickly took action and moved me into another room while offering apologies for something that did not involve her. Very impressed with the service, will stay again!

Check in staff was though and friendly. Made us feel comfortable and didn’t go overboard. The breakfast attendant kept the breakfast buffet 100% stocked and picture perfect clean. While it was typical buffet offerings, since it was so appealingly displayed it really seemed to taste better. The attendant deserves an atta boy. All the staff were very personable. Keep doing what you are doing.

This hotel is a perfect option for a stay in the Madison area. It hotel itself it set next to a lake area with a ton of walking options along with multiple dining and coffee options. It was the perfect spot for my family. It is a quick drive to downtown Madison for any shopping. I would absolutely stay here again.

Had a nice stay. Room was very quiet and comfortable. There is a bus stop very close by and I was able to get to downtown Madison as well as a nearby Walmart very easily. There is also a local e-bike rental (BCycles) right behind the hotel

Very kind and helpful staff. New and clean place. Not in the prettiest part of town, but access to Madison is fairly easy. It’s about 4 miles or 15-20 minutes by Uber (upon pickup) to downtown or campus. Hotel has a bright feel with lots of windows and an aquamarine paint palette for wall coloring. The carpet pleasingly matches. Super simple but ultra comfortable room. I wanted to stay in bed for two more hours. Nice bath. My fave: no shower curtain (that’s always a big plus). Double shades on the window: one for blackout, one for artistic opacity. Breakfast isn’t overdone and isn’t full of gross choices. Instead it’s good coffee, some fruit, granola bars, and breakfast sandwiches. Nothing fancy, but nothing that’ll yield a coronary either. Just simplicity that incurs a touch of elegance. It does use an amount of once-used stuff for immediate throw away though. Not sure I’d count on the hotel for a full-scale protein breakfast, but it offers a decent jump start. There’s a good bar and coffee shop nearby too.

Clean and comfortable and streamlined. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Appreciate the room has hard flooring and no drapes, helps with the allergies. Like the grab and go breakfast sandwiches and the 24/7 coffee and tea. Within walking distance to several restaurants. Quick drive to fast food and grocery. Only 10 mins from Madison.

Everything was clean and in working order. Staying for one night would be fine as the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I would not stay here for any longer than that, as there are no dressers or closets. They have nobs/hooks on the wall to hang clothing. Looks like they're trying to achieve a "simple style" vibe. Breakfast. There was fruit, grains and hot food available. The hot food appeared to be microwaved which made the biscuits soggy and a bit unappealing. I had an egg, sausage w/cheese biscuits sandwich. The design of the breakfast area could use improving. The waste baskets are directly under the food prep counter. This led to a cluster of people trying to reach the waste bins, while others were making toast, bagels, etc. Granted, the hotel was full, so the breakfast area was busy. In general, it's a very clean property with comfy beds, offers a decent breakfast, and seems to be located in a safe area.

Third time staying at this location. Wonderful hotel. Rooms are a little smaller but have everything you need. Up to date and showers are great. Breakfast includes sandwiches, fruit, cereals and juices and coffee. Friendly staff. Feels upscale without the upscale price. Highly recommend

Hotel was clean, bed was very comfortable. Dove products in the shower was nice. Continental breakfast was a bit disappointing, they had quality coffee but the remainder of breakfast was grab-and-go instead of anything homemade. Would be fine for a business trip but for a couples trip we chose to find a local diner.

Hotel was amazing. Only thing that was not was the shower, it got the floor wet all over in the bathroom so when you are handicap and need a stable place to secure your chair but the floors all wet it’s very hard when the shower curtain allows the water to go all over the floor. Which due to the drain hole right outside the shower it’s meant to do this.

This hotel was perfectly located for all our activities im Madison. I love that the rooms do not have carpet. It was clean and well maintained. The staff were wonderful and helped give good recommendations for restaraunts etc. Great stay will definitely use this hotel again.
