They may have remodeled the rooms and some of the hotel, but you could tell it was a cover up. Pool was absolutely horrible. Breakfast, just go out somewhere. Every door slammed, not sure how someone sleeps. The workers were pleasant and kind…it’s just the property itself.

This property is under construction and there was no notification regarding this. The dining area was covered in sheet rock dust from sanding. The painters were blasting music, there was paint spilled all over the carpet areas in the hallways, the hallways and elevator were covered in sheetrock dust.

I liked that the hotel was recently remodeled. New paint, carpeting, updated modern bathroom fixtures. All very nice. What wasn’t nice was that the microwave was out of commission and it took over an hour to replace it with one that worked. By this time we had to go out to eat. (We always pack our own food so this was an expense we didn’t need.). Then we go to get ice….ALL of the ice machines were out of commission with no intent of getting them fixed before the end of our 6-night stay. Their TV’s had NO options for plugging in a fire stick. The stations that were available to watch were slim pickings unless you like sports. Your might be able to find 2 movies to pick from. So stay was not very pleasant and we were stuck there for 6 nights.

There was no hot water in tho entire Hotel for more than 24 hours, and it still wasn’t on when we checked out. There was mold around the sulicone seal in the bathtub and large areas in the floor of the tub were peeling off. There was construction being done below our room at 9 a.m. that weren’t warned of either. The parking lot was covered in deep snow but never plowed. NOT IMPRESSED

Location was great. Many issues with spiders/insects in the rooms. Had a spider crawl in the bed sheets while in bed, noticed spiderweb above bed frame. Moved to a new room, only to encounter 3+ spiders and gnats. You think paying $370 a night, the rooms would have been cleaned or reviewed by hotel staff. Also wish the manager/owner was more accessible and returned inquiries.

The first room I was given was dirty, had what looked like mold on the ceiling, the sheets had holes in them, surfaces were sticky and the furniture was dirty. The desk provided a second room that initially looked better but then realized there were a lot of dead bugs under sink and the smoke detector was missing. There is renovations going on but the space needs a lot of work. The common spaces smelled of smoke. I ended up leaving the hotel because of the conditions.

We didn't enjoy our stay. It was very loud all night from people in the halls to the heater. Our sheets had stains on them and a bath towel had a ball of hair in it. The breakfast was not worth trying. We left as soon as we could.

Breakfast regular continental, the staff had a pretty lackluster attitude overall, however we did notice that the young woman who checked us in appeared to be on shift for at least 20hrs. So maybe they were just tired. There were a bunch of large gnats in the bathroom. The sheets on the bed when we arrived were not clean. There were several spots that appeared to be urine and or semen all over the fitted sheet. I changed the sheets myself, which I would prefer to do it my self at that point. The bigger problem was the same young woman at check in, didn't seem like she knew where to get us any clean sheets for the bed. She first gave me a twin size saying "this is all I have back here" I guess she finally figured out where the laundry was, because when I came down to tell her again that I needed King size sheets. She had finally found them. Just to be clear in my review, the overall stay was okay, however the ownership/management of the hotel is clearly setting their staff up for failure. Only one person on front desk staff for over 20hours and only having a couple housekeepers for a busy game weekend is a recipe for disaster.

“You get what you pay for” is the definition of this hotel. Price is cheap, but I would have rather spent a little more to have a nicer hotel. Black mold all over bathroom ceilings and walls. Tub faucet falling off. Back door is completely unlocked and open for anyone to walk in without a key. And do NOT stay here if you’re staying by yourself. I (a woman traveling alone) was put on the first floor with a window facing a dark alley with curtains that didn’t shut all the way. Hairdryer didn’t work, and they couldn’t get a replacement so I had to go to work with wet hair. The bed at least seemed clean and bug free, the lady that worked the night desk was nice, and the free breakfast was okay, but that’s about it for the nice things I can say about this room.

Nice room. Big freeser on the fridge to refreeze our ice packs. Bathroom was clean. Fold out sofa was tiny, maybe a twin siza and mattress was maybe 2 or 3 inches rhich you could feel every bar that it sat on.

Our room was spacious and clean. It has obviously been renovated, recently. Bathroom was good, as well, with a separate toilet and shower room from the sink, which we both liked. Also, we liked the shower only instead of the tub/shower combination. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The renovated room was nice, clean, and mostly good. Nice new shower, sink, good toilet, clean floor. But it still had an older digital tv though. Good microwave, and a refrigerator on the larger side so we could put a smaller backpack of food items in. The air-conditioner worked fine but was pretty loud. The worst thing was the desk chair. The seat was stained. And worst of all, one of the five legs was broken off and missing. I didn't think to check the condition of the chair, so when I sat in it, I fell over on my back in it. I am lucky I didn't hit my head or otherwise hurt myself. When I told the front desk, all they did was smile at me and apologize. I expected more concern from them and an offer of an adjustment, but nothing. Disappointed.

Really friendly staff and super easy check-in. Loved that we could add another night last minute with no problem. Room was freshly renovated and clean. There was some construction down the hall, but it wasn’t loud—just had to walk through it to get to the car. Breakfast was way better than expected (fresh fruit, eggs, pancakes, sausage—all good!). The location was awesome—could’ve walked to the stadium faster than driving with game-day traffic. Shuttle was a nice bonus too. Great value for a football weekend—would definitely stay again!

My biggest complaint was the window did not have blackout curtains. It was just a pull down and the light from the parking lot poured in all night long. My hubby thought the bed was a little uncomfortable, but I had no problem with it. The breakfast in the morning was ehh at best. Liquid egg, bacon, cereal, and bagels. But it’s free and my kids enjoyed the cereal. Staff wasn’t over the top, but they were pleasant and quick. All in all I would stay here again when visiting family.

Clean and comfortable stay. Loved the check-in process online so my keys were ready at front desk upon arrival. The ceiling spray showers were amazing. Lighting in the room was a little dim, but still a nice stay.

The location was good for area colleges and shopping. Not too far from the airport. They are refurbishing,so the rooms are comfortable. I had no issues with the hotel. The front desk manager (supposedly) was rude and dressed in pajamas. look like she just wokw up. I checked out around 10am. She refused to provide a receipt at checkout. I wanted one because they held a deposit for incidentals.

I had no reservations and I called Expedia five times and no one answered. Finally I did chat and got help. Expedia never sent my reservation but Expedia did charge my credit card d for the full amount. Stood one hour in lobby for no reason. The hotel did not help and just hope I go away. Was already tired and had to wait for one hour because something went wrong and has nothing to do with me!

The staff was phenomenal! The host at the front desk was more than accommodating. First off, we had arrived earlier than our check in time, which after a 9 hr ride we were ready to just rest. Without hesitation the host was easily able to get us right into our room. We had a slight issue with booking an extra night while there and the host was more than patient with us while also helping along the way! I would recommend this hotel a million times over. ANDDDD the CLEANLINESS of this place was absolute!! Just a beautiful visit and stay over all! Definitely will book again for our trip next year!!

Really friendly staff and super easy check-in. Loved that we could add another night last minute with no problem. Room was freshly renovated and clean. There was some construction down the hall, but it wasn’t loud—just had to walk through it to get to the car. Breakfast was way better than expected (fresh fruit, eggs, pancakes, sausage—all good!). The location was awesome—could’ve walked to the stadium faster than driving with game-day traffic. Shuttle was a nice bonus too. Great value for a football weekend—would definitely stay again!

Breakfast regular continental, the staff had a pretty lackluster attitude overall, however we did notice that the young woman who checked us in appeared to be on shift for at least 20hrs. So maybe they were just tired. There were a bunch of large gnats in the bathroom. The sheets on the bed when we arrived were not clean. There were several spots that appeared to be urine and or semen all over the fitted sheet. I changed the sheets myself, which I would prefer to do it my self at that point. The bigger problem was the same young woman at check in, didn't seem like she knew where to get us any clean sheets for the bed. She first gave me a twin size saying "this is all I have back here" I guess she finally figured out where the laundry was, because when I came down to tell her again that I needed King size sheets. She had finally found them. Just to be clear in my review, the overall stay was okay, however the ownership/management of the hotel is clearly setting their staff up for failure. Only one person on front desk staff for over 20hours and only having a couple housekeepers for a busy game weekend is a recipe for disaster.

When we checking in the staff was ok but not overly friendly. We were given a room that was already occupied. I walked into a room with guest already present in the room. It was very shocking. We did get a new room.

When we pulled up I was incredibly disappointed. From the outside the hotel looks dated and is not located on a nicer street although it's close to ND so that's good. Inside some of the areas also looked dated. However they are remodeling so our room was great and clean and our bed very comfortable. I'm not sure it'll be worth the price for a football weekend but we felt it was reasonable for our night.

The neighborhood may look older commercial, but this hotel is nicely upgraded, clean, and so incredibly convenient for the several colleges just down the road. We'll definitely look to stay here again.

The hotel is adequate and the staff were very friendly. I needed access to a computer, but they did not have one. The breakfast options were very limited. Decor is some thing I would not normally comment on, but it was so incoherent that it actually had an impact. There was very little lighting in my room, so it was incredibly dark. I found myself finding other places to go to stay out of the hotel so that I only needed to come back to sleep. The price was good, the location, convenient, and OK if you need somewhere to stay in a pinch and a busy Notre Dame weekend. However, expect it will be a place literally just sleep.

We traveled over 4500 miles and this was our last stop before getting home. It was the cheapest, most comfortable and updated stay we had in all those miles. Also a great breakfast and pancake maker, so cool. Did not appreciate the 100$ deposit however.

Overall great! Appears to have been recently rehabbed. Our only negative is the coffee! The lobby equipment is awful. Get takeout from IHOP or Bob Evans. Microwaving yesterday's leftovers would taste a lot better.

Ok overall. Breakfast was poor needs big upgrade-eggs fake and coffee was terrible brown water with coffee mate (terrible) for cream. Outside building/grounds were dingy but inside rooms were clean and staff nice. I would go back.

Hotel was not as advertised. Based on reviews i was expecting much, much better. It is still under construction and not clean. Exterior is run down. Pool under construction. Beds were uncomfortable for two and we were kept up all night with the TV next door that never turned off for two days. The price i paid during move in weekend was exorbitant for the value that was delivered. Never again and now i have distrust in the value of researching the previous reviews
