This hotel has the worst parking situation I've ever experienced. Even though the hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, it has good breakfast, and is comfortable both in the rooms and in the lounge, the parking is so bad I will not go back. They allow airport parking at their location where people can pay to park their cars and leave, and they don't even already have enough parking spaces per rooms they have. Even with a disability parking pass, other people were parking in the lines meant for wheelchair ramp access, and one night 8 different cars had to block each other in at the round about in front of check in just to have a place to park. One night we had to park off a curb outside of the parking spaces and hope that we didn't get a ticket or get our car hit by somebody. And the neighboring parking lots are all other hotels or private business parking only so you can't just go park and walk over. I really did like the hotel itself inside, and the room was great and spacious. The accessible shower is one of the best i've ever used, and I just wish the parking was better. We stayed for a week straight and every time we left the hotel it was a struggle getting back in.

Check-in was businesslike. Staff was never rude, but was friendlier the second day. Room was clean and well-maintained. Property is located near airport so noise is unavoidable. Guest parking lot was on the small side with several spaces reserved for Hilton rewards members. Complimentary breakfast was surprisingly good (happily, no turkey sausage).

Completely unimpressed with breakfast. Friday was fine, Saturday and Sunday was awful. Watery eggs and sausage that looked like elephant knees. Parking was also interesting, limited spots it seemed for the number of rooms and the security guard took 1 later in the evening giving guests even less options. When checking out, we loaded up our car out front and couldn't even pull through to leave, we had to back out because that was apparently being used for parking too? We doing a lot of traveling for sports and I probably wouldn't book here again.

Courteous staff, had a fast check in and check out. My flight was at 6 am, yet the shuttle was available on time at 4:15. Shuttle to/from the airport is 8 minutes with no traffic. Breakfast was very good. Omelettes and sausages were available aplenty. They also had various kinds of breads, cereals, yogurt, and juices. Lobby was very nice — could sit and watch the games. There was also a pool table and board games available in the lobby. Live TV in the room covered all the common channels. TV had the option of Netflix and other common service apps. Gym was decent with a treadmill, elliptical, and a Peloton. It also has free weights and one of those newfangled TV screen trainers. Only about 20 minutes from The Shoe. But after the game, traffic gets bad so it took us over a half hour to get back.

VERY VERY clean and comfortable room! Staff is extremely friendly, and the lobby has all the comforts of home. 24 hour snacks, pool table, and esthetically pleasing public area with vibrant colors and comfy couches. We loved the free breakfast and 24/7 shuttle service to the airport. Also has a gym on property. Will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is great looking and very comfortable. The staff was pleasant and courteous. The room doors I think are fire resistant: they are VERY heavy to open. I think due to this weight we heard doors shutting most of the night. We had to leave the hotel at 5AM for our flight. The Tru advertises 24 hour shuttle service to the airport; we inquired at check-in and were assured there was no problem. Getting to the lobby at 4:45AM we were told no shuttle until 7AM. They have a printed sign telling how to get in touch with Lyft, Uber or a Taxi. This leads me to believe that the early morning shuttle no-show is not a rare occurrence at The Tru.We had to pay, not the hotel for the Lyft/Taxi ... $20. One if our reasons for selecting our stay here was for that shuttle service 24 hours a day advertised. If it were not for this shuttle service feasco we would have given The Tru all excellent ratings but simply cannot excuse the shuttle service deception.

Bright and welcoming. Easy to find and park. Rooms were clean although the bathroom floor had some "dust" in the corners. But everything was very comfortable and clean. The price was wonderful. We will definitely use this hotel when we return to Columbus.

Pretty dirty bathroom floor and corners. Found multiple (short) hairs on the bedding and the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. Airplanes were super loud as well, but that’s to be expected at an airport hotel.

I love that they do not have carpets. Carpets are usually so filthy....So now, since I discovered TRU, I arrange my trips around these hotels just to avoid carpets. Plus yes, it is a very clean hotel, and this is the most important to me.

Everything was so clean, room was wonderful. Every staff member we saw was SO nice. The woman cleaning the breakfast area on Saturday morning was one of the sweetest people I’ve met. She started our day off great! Will absolutely stay at this location again.

The pillows are ridiculously thin. You need about 4 pillows to =a firmer pillow. Beds just okay. Fun vibe to the place and close to airport w/24hr shuttle are the biggest perks. OK for a layover sleep

I usually stay at this hotel because it of its cleanliness and overall condition of the lobby and rooms. The only problem I had was the air conditioning in my room was very noisy. In general, I had a good stay.

Hotel staff very friendly. However room was very small and too small for a King bed. No shampoo in shower container so had to wash my hair with regular soap. A number of electric outlets in the room did not work. Also a lot of road noise even late at night. Will not be staying at this hotel in the future.

This was disappointing. Rooms are very small. Hardsided luggage doesn't fit anywhere. Room temp never cool enough and cuts off when you leave the room, so takes forever to cool down when you get back. Breakfast was OK, bathrooms are decent sized, staff was very friendly and nice shuttle to the airport.

The hotel was clean and quiet, despite being full for a music festival and tattoo convention. It also had a very convenient location. One complaint—the beds were rock hard and this is not my preference. I slept okay but woke up stiff and sore every morning.

Check in staff was not friendly or informative. Breakfast area was not clean. There were hairs on the plates holding the serving spoons the eggs were wet and watery and the security guard has nothing better to do all night bc you can’t even sit in your car to smoke bc he’s constantly harassing you walking up to your car demanding to see your room key. I felt unsafe when he walk up to my car at night and he was very aggressive as if he didn’t believe I was a guest there

If you’re booking and think you will check-in at your desired check in time you will be fooled..they couldn’t accommodate my family until 4 hours after our booking time. Huge inconvenience and never in my travels seen anything like it! Decided to go with something less expensive for the “convenience” by nearby attractions. Huge regret! Always pay extra for quality. I’ll never book here again

When arrived to the property around 5 pm, my room was not ready. I did online check in and picked my room. They told me that I had to wait 1 more hour for it to be ready, if I did not wanted to wait, I could be assigned another room. Which I had no option since I was not willing to wait an extra hour for something they should have done 2 hours before my arrival as check in time usually is at 3pm and I got there at 5 pm.

Very modern , clean hotel. Didn’t get to have the breakfast, they said some of the shipment didn’t come they were running out of food. I think there could have been more staff to help with check in and breakfast service.

I enjoyed the light energetic atmosphere at the Tru. The hotel was clean and very modern in style. The king bed room was pretty tight with 2 people moving around. The location is prime area near airport. There are plenty of restaurants near for quick Doordash or run to the store. Over everything was cool!

The location made it easy to get to Ohio State campus for move in and it was close to airport and Easton for shopping. The room was super quiet, clean and the toiletries were great. Breakfast was good and I appreciated the lavazza coffee. Pricing was reasonable.

Although the location is near the airport I didn't hear planes overhead during my stay. There's a pool table and board games provided for use in the lobby which is nice and unique. Staff cleaned tables often and that is refreshing. The breakfast was just ok.

Tru is a great hotel in Columbus. Everything was clean, and the staff were friendly. I appreciated they had “quiet” hours, and a major perk is that their coffee was delish!! Most hotel coffee is not my favorite, but theirs was good!!

Check in was great … matter of fact she was even helping another customer find a hotel since they were sold out! Breakfast was good but oatmeal was empty and eggs were definitely powdered but that’s to be expected. Would of been nice to have a few danish.
