Plum Tree Club

The hotel staff were friendly. The pool was a big attraction for us, as was the supermarket nearby. We were able to propare and share meals with our friends who were in nearby suites. Shuttle to the beach with Clyde was awesome! Definitely would recommend!

What makes the Plum tree special, is the lovely staff who were extremely helpful. The cleaning staff did a wonderful job in keeping our 1 bedroom very clean. We found the shuttle to the beach helpful and convenient. For overall value you really do get what you pay for. While we found the 1 bedroom very clean and the bed very comfortable and the unit had everything we needed, we found the Plum tree to be extremely dated and in need of some well overdue maintenance and repair that impacts health and safety. The netting surrounding the golf course has fallen down in parts and we heard among other guests that flying golf balls almost hit them. The surface area and walking path exterior to the pool is slippery even when not wet due to the original finish being worn. We were disappointed to observe some people dragging away loungers for personal use while leaving only a small number available for pool user and on a couple of occasions left us without one even though not many people were at the pool. Some of the loungers need to be repaired. We were told that they would be starting renovations in April 2025 which should hopefully bring what we could clearly see was once a well loved and vibrant place.

Loved my stay at this gem, everyone was accommodating and helpful and sincere. The pool was awesome and well kept. If you’re looking for somewhere to relax and enjoy solitude this is the place for you! With scores of activities at your every turn!

The property was in a convenient location its very quiet,safe and offers parking,the apartment wasnt modern but ill rate this place 10/10

easy check in, centrally located - pool on site, beaches within a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive - supermarket, shops and restaurants all nearby - well maintained, friendly staff - great experience!

Arrived for 14 nights to find a letter that Pool closed 7-10 days, which turned out to be our entire stay. Management said drilling noises etc would last 2 days but lasted our entire holiday, 8AM -3PM power tools and jet washers. No real apology was made, or any realistic alternative given & there wasn't even an area set out with loungers. We both tried to discuss in person but found the managers attitude quite dismissive, especially when compensation was mentioned. I've also tried to get compensation since returning home as very disappointing and not relaxing at all but between Expedia and Plum tree nothing happens as manager doesn't respond to their emails. This could be a nice place to stay, and sold as apartments with a secluded central pool but if facilities etc aren't up to your expectation its basically hard luck, they have your money and that's that. The housekeeping staff were very good & maintenance guy always friendly, shame about the rest, not one visit throughout our stay with an update or to ask how things were going. Very disappointing service and as we are regulars to the islands not on our rebook list.

The Plum Tree Club is in a convenient position for the south coast and Rockley area. The pool is lovely and clean. Some of the sunbeds needed repairing/replacing but while we were there it was very quiet, so we always had somewhere to sit and either an umbrella or tree to sit under. The surrounding gardens were stunning and well kept. The apartment itself was pleasant enough with everything we needed for our month long stay, but it is in need of updating (bathroom, kitchen, and a general make over). A downside is that there is no AC in the lounge, only in the bedroom. Housekeeping came in every other day to change the beds and towels which is excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly. The internet WiFi wasn't consistent throughout the property which could be a problem, although ok at the dining table. RC on the Green at the golf club is a convenient place for food and drink, (although slightly in the expensive side) Overall, we had a great stay at the Plum Tree.

Kitchen was full of small insects. The wifi was very unstable. The pumps in the pool was broken for 10 days, and the water became more and more green and disgusting every day. I'm not sure I would like to return. You'll have to do better.

Room was very clean. AC was outstanding. Kitchen was good and clean.

The staff was excellent and housekeeping did a great job cleaning my room. My room however was in need of a makeover, it looked a little tired. It’s a very quiet location and only a 15 minute walk to grocery stores and restaurants.

The apartment was very clean and we love the quiet, peaceful location. The property needs some updating (which we were told it has been scheduled).

Clean and safe environment. Pleasant housekeeping staff. Appreciated the provision of a shuttle service to and from the beach, which was always on time. The front desk staff could be more friendly and welcoming rather than appearing stoic. They are the guests' first impression of the service when registering.

This property was conveniently located for cropover events. Unfortunately the apartments are extremely dated and roach infested.

The property is kept clean and very tidy. The staff that I came in to contact with were friendly. Always said hello or good day. I had two housekeepers during my short stay, one week that was super friendly and funny. They made me laugh. I couldn’t get the television operate the young male worker came and with a smile and a little funny banter helped immediately. I need a late Check out because of my flight time and it was honored without issue. There’s a pool that I used daily because the beaches has seaweed unfortunately. I most definitely recommend here if you want comfort, safety and a peaceful stay. I will definitely be back on my next trip and I highly recommend the property.

The location of the property is excellent. The communication with the staff were very polite and the apartment is beautiful. My only dislike was there were chicken mess throughout the property which on numerous occasions ended up inside the apartment.

Nice accommodation option to stay in Barbados, close to everything, fresh linen and towels every other day, fully equipped kitchen is huge bonus, quiet, easy parking, pool, patio, AC in bedroom, would stay again.

Don’t believe the photos! I’ve just returned from a couple weeks at Plumtree, this is my experience. Check in, no hello, welcome, how was your flight but “what’s your name”, followed by here’s your bill, you need to pay immediately before you get your key. Apartment very dated ( not unusual in Barbados in budget accommodation), can live with it if it all works. Patio fine, 4 chairs but no table, lights above the bed don’t work, tv (a little bigger than an iPad) doesn’t work so back to the office. Table sorted, lights sorted as they weren’t plugged in, I couldn’t see that as the bed had to be pulled out to plug them in! TV remote ended up being the problem, after removing the tape holding it together and 2 sets of batteries later the tv switched on. Let’s log on to WiFi and check the emails, won’t join, back to the office, we’re having a few internet problems which we’re trying to sort they say, eventually when leaning over my neighbours patio it connected but won’t download anything, speed checked it - 7 Mb! Useless basically, so no point in the fire stick, internet won’t support it or WhatsApp calls or download any web pages. Check the pool out, nice area however, no shade. 6 knackered old plastic tables, 1 umbrella, back to the office, “we’ve got some on order”, never to be seen in 2 weeks. Coming days, aircon leaking in bedroom, put a bucket under it from under the kitchen sink but can’t as it’s there because the kitchen sink is leaking! I could go on!

Had a really enjoyable 10 night visit at The Plum Tree Club. 1 bed apartment, had everything we needed. A wee bit dated but, bed was comfy & room had all we needed & more. Large apartment & nice quiet pool beside Golf course. My wife had a terrible time with Mozzi bites, although I was fine. Would be more than happy to stay again if back in Barbados.

Everything was great, they could use upgraded beds they were a bit hard outside of that everything was great!

The unit was big and had everything I needed. It was located in a quiet& safe golf club. The aircon in the bedroom was fantastic! The only thing I would say is that the interior was very tired looking & needs updating, especially the bathroom. However the unit was very clean.

It was great value for a condominium, with a kitchen. Laundry was shared but it was never busy. Housekeeping every other day was great. NO air in the main area but it was in the bedroom. We enjoyed having the windows and door open and listening to birds. Never used the pool. It had a shuttle to the beach but we rented a car. Just need to update the TV, frying pans and some cookware needed replacing. Too hot to cook inside anyway. Bbq were dirty and rusty. Furniture was older but still comfortable, bed was comfortable too. It was peaceful there and felt safe. Staff were friendly. I would stay again if returning to Barbados.

Good location, one huge issue was the noise from the upstairs apartment at all hours of the day and night. Furniture scraping, other noises quite disturbing

our air conditioning stopped working overnight on our second to last night, and as soon as we raised this concern to the front desk staff, they were attentive and proactive in fixing it right away. They spent the day fixing it and when it was deemed unrepairable they moved us to another (upgraded!) room for our last night. Thank you so much for our lovely stay.

Excellent location close to main beaches and restaurants - well equipped self catering apartments with stunning grounds set in a golf course - superb staff with nothing being too much trouble - highly recommended

Nice and clean place. We were greeted by the Manager at arrival and all our concerns were attended in little time. Great place for vacation and well maintained. Would surely recommend to our friends.

The staff were incredibly helpful throughout the stay and made everything even more relaxing - it’s a small walk to lots of different amenities and you’re a short taxi ride away from an abundance of activities, bars and restaurants

I booked two apartments as my friends were arriving 2 days after us. The communication was fantastic. The apartment was comfortable and clean, offering everything we needed, including regularly refreshed towels and beach towels. The staff, from the groundskeepers to the restaurant servers and housekeepers, were incredibly friendly and helpful.Kristine's service was exceptional; I've never encountered someone so helpful during a holiday, she was extremely patient with all my question before and once arriving in Barbados . The location is a 15-20 minute walk from the supermarket, and getting a taxi or walking to nearby eateries is easy. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, creating a safe and pleasant environment for solo or group walk. I highly recommend this property and it great price.

A little bit off the beaten track, nice location when you get there. Shuttle bus was great, final bus in the evening to go for dinner would be welcome...5ish. Small mini mart on site would be good. Staff very attentive to your needs. Good value.

Stay from dec 22 to 26. If want to play golf everyday stay here. If your not into walking please dont. Theres only one restaurant on property that a short walk. The gas station mini mart is 15 minutes. Another 15 minute to neach and restaurants. Yes they do have shuttle it onlyvruns twice. Overall nice experience. The front desk was helpful

I have enjoyed my many stays at the Plum Tree Club and will definitely be going back. My favorite part of the Plum Tree is the location and the quietness of the place. I fall asleep and wake up to the sounds of nature... birds, insects, wind etc... I love that. Sitting on the patio outside of my room is one of my favourite things to do there because of how lush and green the location is. Amenities are in walking distance and so is the beach. It's a great place with great people.

This was a very relaxing, well equipped apartment for a quiet weekend getaway. We loved watching the monkeys running around on the fairway behind our unit in the mornings. And we basically had the pool to ourselves as it was off season. It's an easy walk to the grocery store/Worthing Square and there is a free shuttle to Rockley Beach. Definitely a good value for the price.

The shuttle to and from the beach was great. We were close to the beach and many dining options but set back in the quiet green space of the golf course with the opportunity to enjoy a nice cup of coffee on our balcony and watch the roosters and the monkeys in the morning.

What a little gem! I booked two months before travel. Everything was easy and communication was great. Check-in was easy and the staff were so polite and kind. The kitchen has everything you need. Want to stay in: cooker and oven. Want to stay local: the club house has a great variety (and they do take-out). Shower, over the bath, was nice and warm on sunburn (and cold too if you want to cool down). The beach is a 15 minute walk. The pool is great! Surrounded by local plants you get to see all the wildlife (lizards, monkeys, birds etc). Some bits were a little dated BUT, whoa, don’t take that as a bad thing, the chairs are comfy, the sofa, well I fell asleep on it so, yeah, comfy. We stayed in a room looking over the gold course. So much entertainment from some (like me) not so good golfers. The golfers did not wake us up. Early risers using the pool did not wake us up. After the second day the local cockerels did not wake us up (they’re part of the experience, watch them, laugh at them, but don’t feed them!) If you’ve read this far I hope you’re getting the gist that I liked this place. It isn’t a 5-star golden resort; It IS a locally run location with happy, friendly, helpful staff. My wife and I loved it!
