One of the two elevators was broken, and the functioning one was extremely slow. Rooms are noisy; I could hear a lot from adjacent rooms. I chose this place because it was convenient to my son’s apartment in Stuy Town but I would not stay here again.

This was a great stay. Free breakfast (though crowded), small but comfy and up to date hotel rooms. In a very safe area and easy to get to lots of restaurants and transit. Would stay here again for sure. Only complaint: 2 elevators not enough; much faster to take the stairs.

Great location, loved walking to the park up the street and 5th avenue Would have given excellent rating, except when the elevator broke I was in it and it was not a fun experience! To check out I walked the 11 flights down. Other than that moment it really was great!! Thankyou

Great location and a super clean hotel. Breakfast was included/good quality and fabulous service. We stayed for 4 nights and got a good idea of the hotel. Most of the staff at the front desk seemed to be on their phones and it felt like we were bugging them when asking for information. They also missed a wake-up call which thankfully we had a phone on to wake us up for the airport. The hotel is clean and newer inside. The elevators were super slow and occasionally got stuck sending you to the wrong floor. They were a bit scary TBH. Would stay here again.

Friendly staff. Convenient to our daughter who lives in the East Village. Breakfast was better than expected, and loved having a free coffee bar in the lobby. Elevators were a little wonky and one of the two was broken down for most of our stay.

My mum and I stayed at this property for 7 nights recently and can’t recommend it highly enough. We would definitely book again! Great location, close to PT, comfortable, clean and quiet. Great facilities including gym, laundry and buffet breakfast.

Really nice and clean however the rooms need better accomafations for luggage and clothe storage. Theyre small and the bed is nice but only one side of the bed has a night stand. This is tough for couples. Theres nowhere for clothe so everything goes on the floor.

Comfortable hotel conveniently located near Madison Square Park. Friendly and dedicated staff. The only little thing that bothered me was having a room adjoining the elevator shaft, which is quite noisy. But we had a wonderful stay in NYC and I highly recommend it.

This room was very small for 2 double beds. There was barely a walkway to get to the bathroom and other bed. Shower door does not keep water inside well, bathmat is drenched after each shower. Staff is friendly though and complimentary breakfast was good.

The hotel was clean and quiet. The room was extremely small, with two double beds and basically enough room to slide around the beds. For a family of 4, it was very uncomfortable. This is probably fine for a quick business trip for a single person, but not even appropriate if you are more than one person (which is when you need the two bed rooms). The breakfast was fine (nothing exciting). People who worked there were very nice and helpful.

Breakfast staff was super nice and front desk was very attentive to our needs. The service by all staff was top tier. We asked for extra towels and pillows and they came within 10 minutes each time or less. I just wish the room was larger. It’s quite tight and the furniture is not as functional as other hotels with small spaces. The bathroom is also very tight and our shower leaked every time it was used onto the floor (hence the extra towels).

The property was nice. Overall staff were pleasant except one lady at day of checkout who was extremely rude. We did not have cleaning service unless we asked. The beverage station for water and coffee were only intermittently available. There was a loud knocking noise from the elevator that kept us from sleeping for 4 nights that we stayed.

Property is 16 minute walk to Union Square area. Very pleasant even during the evening. Lyft rides are easy to get, the entrance to the hotel is off the main road so it is quieter. The staff are very accommodating and pleasant.

The room was small, but very well appointed and decorated. The hotel is in a great location with easy access to sights and taxi cabs. We did some sightseeing after we checked out and the front desk stored our luggage for us for several hours.

Location can not be beat. You are paying to be in the heart of the Flatiron District. So many shopping and eating choices plus you’re mere steps away from the beautiful Madison Square Park. Rooms are as expected for Midtown but if you’re there for the beauty of NYC, you’ll only be in your room to shower and sleep. Would consider staying again if it fits within my budget!

Good location, 10 min walk to 42nd street, an hour walk to ground zero but lots to see on the way. Hotel clean , reception staff friendly and helpful . Room clean and comfortable, bathroom had shower only which was a walk in so big and clean, a bath would have been fabulous due to all the walking we did but not a deal breaker. Coffee machine 8n room but not well stocked, a kettle would have been better. Breakfast was disappointing as little choice , there was bagels , a few cereals , waffles only at the weekends so missed out on these , most of the staff at breakfast were unfriendly and unhelpful but these were the older staff , the young staff were trying to help. We wanted to be able to have decent breakfast to set us up for the day so for this reason I would choose somewhere else next time. Overall a good staff due to location and room.

Kind and helpful workers Delicious breakfast and liked that there was something different everyday. Would have loved a better muffin or pastry. Loved that workers were stationed there to fill food or clean up I felt very safe going in and out.

Above expectations- great amenities in room - coffee maker, frig, microwave. Convenient to subway & walking places ie Union square, park, shopping. Nice lobby w newspapers & cold/hot drinks readily available. Constantly greeted by staff especially at breakfast area w good varied breakfasts.
