Van der Valk Hotel Amsterdam Zuidas-Rai

Ett mycket trevligt hotell, nära till tåg och metro station. Enkelt att ta sig till centralen men även till flygplatsen. Rekommenderar spa avdelningen till er, som bara önskar basta i olika bastubad och koppla av. Gymmet var otroligt bra för att vara hotellgym.

Waren sehr zufrieden. Nicht weit von der Metro Station. Parken im Hotel kostet extra. 25€ am Tag empfinde ich etwas zu viel.

Sehr schönes modernes Hotel, gut gelegen an U-Bahn, Bahn und Straßenbahn. Toller Wellnessbereich mit Blick über Amsterdam.

Super hôtel très bien placé avec parking, salle de sport (très bien équipée) sauna etc. Le petit dej est très varié. Je recommande cet hôtel

Nice hotel, beautiful room. Very close to Amsterdam Rai train, metro and tram station. Coffee and tea available the whole day in the lobby. Only thing was that the spa openend at 4 pm until 10 pm, so no time to visit if you’re already somewhere in the city center and before you arrive back at the hotel, the spa is closed. But overall, a wonderful stay.

Hôtel proche des transports. Comptez en moyenne 30 minutes de transport. Parking pratique ( attention nous avons payé un supplément pour rester l’après midi après notre départ ) Espace bien-être : digne d’un 5 étoiles , spacieux. Nous n’avons pas testé le petit déjeuner. Chambre très belle spacieuse et lumineuse. Nous recommandons cette hôtel et nous aimerions revenir dans le futur.

Como o objetivo era conhecer a cidade, usei o hotel como ponto de apoio, visto a proximidade do aeroporto e estações de transporte público. Entretanto, tipo tempo de aproveitar o espaço bem estar que é muito bom e com a vista incrível da cidade. Recomendo.

Room was beautiful, amazing view, spotless, spacious. Hotel staff were lovely, breakfast was nice. Wellness suite was nice, with all the different Saunas and etc. Transport to central really easy as Amsterdam Rai station less than 3min walk to the hotel. I would definitely recommend.

Fijn verblijf, hygiënisch. Mooie wellness, mooie gym. Uitgebreid ontbijt.

Alles war ok. Bis auf Parkmöglichkeit. Habe 50 Euro für 2 Tage Parken extra gezahlt. Habe zum ersten mal bei so einem Hotel Parkgebühr gezahlt.

Das Zimmer war vorher wohl nicht gründlich geputzt worden für neue Hotelgäste. Tomatensoße am Bett und auf dem Teppichboden Essensreste. Kaffeemaschine wurde wohl seit einiger Zeit nicht abgestaubt.

Room cleanliness was far beyond expectation, floor did not hoofer. Many debris, trashes found on floor upon arrival. Dust all around in room, cushions, hairdryer, Tv, mini bar etc. Towels were old with odour smell. Fridge was not working, reported to Front Desk at lobby next morning. Was told technician will fix it. Nothing happened when we came back in the evening. Called Front Desk again, however he said no record. The customer service was extremely worst, not willing to answer questions even just a simple one. Only told us, she doesn’t know. The whole hotel team would need to be trained how to serve a customer for a hospitality industry. Front office, hostess and female egg chef were blunt, no smile, not helpful at all.

The room was not cleaned properly upon arrival, prevous guest food was in the fridge (a container with wasabi). And the prior guest key cardboard card envelope with the room number.

The hotel itself was beautiful, and the rooms were really well equipped. Our room was super spacious. The cleaning was not great- the room wasn’t vacuumed in the 4 days we were in the room which was not great. The reception and bar staff are excellent. There is no good food around the hotel.

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Zimmer, mit atemberaubender Aussicht. Allerdings war die Unterkunft nicht wirklich sauber - für den Preis ein No-Go… Es war Müll unter dem Bett und Essenreste/Naschi auf dem Boden und Krümel auf den Sofas… An der Rezeption sagte man uns dass das Zimmer nochmal gereinigt wird, es wurden aber nur die Handtücher getauscht und der Müll war noch da. Wir kamen erst sehr spät zurück also mussten wir am nächsten Tag wieder zur Rezeption. Dort bot man uns als Entschädigung freies Parken an und waren sehr freundlich. Trotzdem war es schade. Insgesamt ist das Hotel gut für einen Besuch in Amsterdam und direkt mit Verkehrsanbindung etc. Für uns eine gute Lage.

This was such a stunning hotel to visit and a great experience using the suite room and bath over looking the view. However I'm not one to complain but considering the price I think the cleanliness of the room wasn't great, mirrors were dirty, old finger prints on doors/handles, mouldy sink plug, badly cleaned shower leaving soap scum in-between tiles etc. My reason for rating the staff 2 stars is purely because I visited this hotel for my 21st birthday (as a treat), as you can imagine this is a high class hotel which attracts high class people. Being somebody who isn't exactly high class and someone who came for the experience, I felt very unwelcome and very looked down upon, for this reason use of the sauna/ spa area wasn't used and we spent most of our time in the city:( we would have liked to make the most of our booking which is unfortunate. Our check in time was 2pm and we were made to wait in the bar until 5pm for our room to be ready. I wouldn't have cared if our room was cleaned properly but it wasn't. It had been a long day as our flight out was at 6am that morning. Majority of staff were rude, arrogant and not interested in helping what so ever! There was also no map of the hotel and there is 15 floors so trying to find your way around with no help was also a task! On a good note, This hotel is a well designed and modern place to stay. Located 20 minutes on the train from the city which was no harm for us! Just wish the cleanliness and service was better!

三天兩夜 第一天晚上有進來整理被子 但沒有吸地板 很多灰塵 第一天一抵達就發現咖啡機裡仍有使用過膠囊 沒有拿走 第二天冰箱沒有補礦泉水

Goede accomodatie, vind alleen dat de schoonmaak iets beter kan..kwam bijvoorbeeld nog haren tegen in de badkamer en de spiegels waren niet goed schoongemaakt net zoals de tafel in de kamer waar je nog vlekken en vingerafdrukken op zag..

The hotel and bar staff/reception staff were excellent. The cleaning sdtaff of the bedroom left alot to be desired, I booked 4 rooms for business and two of us had no cleaning for most of the week, no change of sheets or towels despite asking on numerous occasions.

The toilet is separated from the main bath without a sink.

Clean modern hotel, located slight outside the city center, but easily accessible by public transport. Room was comfortable and spacious for our family of four. Strongly recommend.

This was our second stay at Van Der Valk Zuidas. The hotel doesn’t disappoint. It is very clean and spacious. This stay it was a bit warm even though the AC was on, but it was okay. I would very much recommend this hotel to others. Close to subway and an easy ride into the city center.

Beautiful rooms, great location and excellent service-

Very good hotel. Couple of very minor issues with the bed, sheets come off all the time as they aren't big enough for the bed. The pillows are far too thick as well. I had to use the "show" pillow. Other than these minor points, the hotel is lovely. Situated a 5 minute walk from the nearest metro into the centre. Very clean and very helpful staff. Good shower and good views. Highly recommend.

Stannade två nätter i familjerum med våningssäng på våning 9 (13 våningar totalt) Otroligt fint och rymligt rum med fantastisk utsikt - hela ena sidan bara fönster! Jättemysig våningssäng som ett litet krypin och smidig trappa upp till översta sängen. Våra ungdomar på 13 och 16 år gillade det skarpt. Badkar i rummet så man kunde ta ett bad och njuta av utsikten. Stor väldigt bekväm kingsize säng för oss vuxna, där låg man fint och bara njöt av utsikten, speciellt kvällstid. Parkering längst ner våning 1 och 2 av hotellet för 25 € per natt och sen tog man sig vidare till våning 5 till receptionen. Gick ca 100 meter till spårvagn 4 och det tog ca 10 minuter in till stadskärnan (laddade ner app GVB för att köpa biljetter). Väldigt imponerad av detta hotell! Kommer definitivt återvända!

Broken toilet flush (buttons) and only one tissue left in the bathroom tissue box. Walls are wafer thin and could hear everything the neighbour was doing until 2am. Perfectly fine soap replaced with new one - didn’t find that very eco-friendly. Room was always super cold. Turning the temp up for the fan didn’t help, turning it off completely did little as well. Had to stay inside the bed to keep warm. For about £480 for 2 nights, would’ve expected better and a bathtub.

Rigtig godt hotel med fin beliggenhed ved siden af metro og sporvogn direkte ind til centrum Morgenmaden var fantastisk Eneste minus var klimaanlæg som ikke kunne køle værelset ordentlig ned, men det ødelagde slet ikke helhedsindtrykket af et rigtig godt hotel. Blokker det gerne igen hvis turen går til Amsterdam

I had to change rooms at midnight on the first night as the room was far too hot and the air conditioning, even set to the lowest setting at 18, was completely ineffective. The next room was no better and I had a really uncomfortable night's sleep (or lack of). The next day I left the air con all day at 18 with the curtains shut as I was coming back late and thought that would solve issue. I came back to find the room was like an oven (25 degrees plus). I spent a second very uncomfortable night. I called up the next day ahd they moved me again and the third room had the same issue. They brought me a little fan to help. they told me it was because it was hot outside!!! Honestly, worst 3 nights I can remeber in a hotel and was totally dehydrated evey morning. Other guests were saying the same thing. Awful. Rest of hotel was fine but what is the point if you can;t sleep!!!

Very friendly staff. The rooms were spacious for kids as well. Clean and safe hotel. Easy check in/check out.

Bedrrom was good - Style and condition. Staff were pleasant, but not friendly. Could have been more helpful in tracing a package that was delivered (according to the parcel company) but not able to be found.

The hotel is nice and the price is good. But the staff in the hotel is really unfriendly and rude. Even for dinning in the room they say I will call you back and never call you back. They need to focus more in making feel the client good. For now I prefer to stay somewhere else.

Frühstück sehr gut und abwechslungsreich, Zimmer geräumig und Moder, Abstriche bei der Organstion des E-Parkens und der Freundlichkeit des Check-in Personals. Gängige RFiD Karte (Audi) funktionierte nicht, wir mussten eine Hoteleigne Karte nehmen, für die im Vorfeld 100 Euro Pfand zu zahlen war. Dazu wurde ein Frühstück abgerechnet, welches bereits inklusive bezahlt war. Die Klärung der Rückerstattung hat zudem lange gedauert.

Schönes und sauberes Hotel mit einer super Anbindung in die Innenstadt. Das Hotelzimmer bot einen tollen Ausblick durch die große Glasfront. Das einzig negative war das Personal, besonders abends an der Bar. Wir wurden anfangs nicht bedient und das Personal wirkte lustlos. Auf die Cocktails mussten wir lange warten. Ansonsten kann man das Hotel weiterempfehlen!

Very spacious room and comfortable bed. Service was very good and staff were helpful to my wife when she became unwell. No charge for late check out which was very much appreciated.

This property is in Amsterdam South. It is close to the tram, the metro, and the rail station. It is out of the way. And if you think you will save money by staying there, consider the costs of getting to and from downtown. Consider, too, that if you’re there for a short time, spending time going to and from your hotel may not be the best use of your time.

Excellent location for the RAI conference centre with easy access to the centre of the city and Schipol airport. Great breakfasts and a very comfortable room.

Modern rooms with all conveniences for the business traveller. Superb breakfast. Within easy short commute from the centre of Amsterdam.

the room itself and common areas were clean and well appointed. the staff were short with us. it was impossible to get an uber. this hotel is not near any tourist attractions. it made getting around hard. luckily we had a car. to get to the harbor from here was 25 minutes by car.

Perfect location! Two train stations within a few minutes walk. Schipol airport direct 10 mins. Ronin similar time! Park close by

Location is out of the center city crowds. But only 15-20 minutes from anywhere you would want to go.

Parkeren erg duur! Diner vond ik vrij matig; heel veel rijst en heel weinig curry. Ik vond het de prijs niet waard. Ook wel vreemd dat de serveerster geen Nederlands sprak! Kamer prima, bed comfortabel maar met een vrij dik dekbed zodat ik de airco moest aanzetten om het enigszins aangenaam te krijgen. Kamertemperatuur was bij binnenkomst 22 graden maar dat was veel te warm voor het dekbed. Jammer dat de airco de hele nacht moet draaien terwijl het buiten plm. 10 graden is.

Great luxury hotel close to RAI hall and train station. Room is big and well equipped, breakfast with reach food selection.
