Staff and hotel were beyond expectations. It’s 5 star service (wasn’t expecting it), nice little gym, nice bed, great shower, good food, lobby store etc Interesting that’s it’s in a mall though… the area around the train station and inside the mall seemed rather sketchy and sometimes unsafe. It seemed loud at night with yelling, people sleeping on benches etc.

Very comfortable, quiet, good breakfast, friendly staff and right next to station for train to Amsterdam. There is also an excellent car park underneath, which you can book online.

Beautiful hotel at a really good rate for a city centre. good restaurant in the hotel or restaurants in the mall. 5 minute walk to the old city. only complaint was the 80 Euro parking charge for 2 nights. Could the hotel not negotiate a discount?

I arrived too early for check-in. The staff offered to keep my bags until I could check in. When asked how my travels had been, I commented that I was tired and couldn't wait to brush my teeth. I was immediately given a tooth brush and the smallest toothpaste ever so that I could brush them before my room was available. I spent one night here, and then traveled to Paris, returning 4 nights later before my return back to the US. The staff happily kept my large bag for me. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, I was grateful for the gym there. This was my second trip to Urecht, and also my second stay at the Crowne Plaza. It's so convenient for proximity to the train station.

My husband and I like everything about this hotel. Just one detail: when we checked in, the carpet in the room was not well vacuumed. We complained about it but next day it was the same after the room cleaning. All the carpet in the hall was dirty. I think is the so basic vacuum they use. The breakfast was very good! We definitely recommend this hotel. It is wonderful!

The hotel is clean, modern and well appointed, and the staff (especially the restaurant staff) are very friendly helpful and an absolute credit to the business. The bed is comfortable, the shower is modern, clean and has excellent water pressure and the house staff do a wonderful job. One of my favourite points was the quality of the breakfast buffet. It's the standard European breakfast range, but without the quality problems that usually present themselves at other hotels. The food is on par with most 5* hotels that we've stayed in.

When we arrived the reception informed we weren't due to arrive until June, then offered us a basic room with no apologise, Manager Nikkolas became involved and eventually sorted us out. Room was not great Seats stained, Blood on net curtains covering window, horrible large brown stain on quilt (which they did change). Not a great experience for the money we paid.

This hotel was perfect for us. Quiet and clean, amazing breakfast, pleasant staff, great location close to train station and in a mall so lots of shops and food options, including a great supermarket, close by.

Fick ett tyst rum. Sov gott, bekväm säng. Utmärkt läge, dock lite svårt att hitta till och opraktiskt att ta sig till receptionen. Lite dåligt med renligheten dock. Ena kaffekoppen inte ren, lite fläckigt och mögel i kylskåpet, sand när man lyfte på sittdynan till fotöljen och toalettsittsen ytterkant var inte ren. Såg bara kaffekoppen och kylskåpet första natten så hotellet fick inte chansen att åtgärda detta. Frågade om möjlighet att få utceckning en timma senare men det var omöjligt. Allt liter märkligt då man marknadsför sig med att sätta renlighet och hygien högst.

During our stay of 19-22nd June, Air conditioning was not working in certain areas of the hotel, including our bed rooms on the 8th and 9th floors, with temps of 26-28 deg C at night. After 3 days of raising this with the staff to find out that air con was working in other parts of the hotel and the neighbouring Hilton, I was not impressed. A refund was made by the hotel of partial payment, but I can not recommend this hotel, until the air con is fixed.

Really enjoyed my stay (despite it being only for one night 😅). Beds were nice and comfy. Bathroom was brilliant and had everything I expected. There was some kind of fan/drilling sound from the bathroom that stayed on even with the lights off but it didn't disrupt my sleep. The TV is probably one of the best TVs I've had in a hotel room (4K HDR) all with smart apps pre installed. It would have been nice to provide a HDMI port for guests to use for laptops or games consoles but that would have just been a bonus in my opinion. Great location with great views, literally minutes away from the central station with about a 30min train ride from Schiphol airport. Would highly recommend.

It's a great hotel in the middle of everything, but Expedia lists the rooms as soundproof and they are not. You can hear the busy city and if someone moves furniture or are in the halls.

Lovely friendly welcoming staff always ready to help. Breakfast was excellent and always well stocked. Room was large, clean and well appointed. Very close to the railway station, very convenient for transfer to the airport or a day trip to Amsterdam.

Hotel was very good within shopping complex and near railway station. Room and bed very comfortable. Only 2 issues were the fire alarm which went off in the evening where we evacuated the buildings along with other hotel guests. My issue was there was no hotel staff around during the incident and relied on the security staff to provide input. This is not acceptable at least the hotel staff should have provided communication during the incident and taken a roll call. Other point is minor however when I pay for a service I expect to get exactly what is provided in terms of room description. We were disappointed as the room was a small suite with bathroom but was not what I thought we were getting as per the hotel com site. We would have gone for a standard room if we had known this fact. Anyway we really enjoyed out 5 night break and will return in September

Staff were super friendly and efficient. Printing off reservations for example. Whilst we were there our phones registered a weather warning alert - they were very quick to explain and reassure us on the extent of likely damage and restrictions to travel.

This hotel is centrally located. In general clean and service is done everyday. Nice decorated. Friendly staff. When you arrive by train, walk straight to the mall Hoog Catharijne and then go to ground floor (0). In front of Vascobelo you will find the main entrance. Hope all this info helps you find your way.

When returning to the hotel at night, there were loiterers in front of the hotel entrance inside the mall that were loud and at times yelling at passers by and seemingly wanting to cause trouble. Security at the mall and hotel should not allow this behavior.

Difficult to find from train station, no markings. Only when we went into shopping centre did we see one sign to go straight and after that another hotel was mentioned. We eventually found it when we accidently went into a side of the shoppibg centre.
