Really lovely hotel, especially the roof level rooms. There is only one lift for the entire hotel (Wide) which means you often need to wait 5-10 minutes (if you don’t take stairs). Not a problem though for us

We chose to upgrade to a private balcony room before our stay and had a very nice room. You entered from the outside. It was charming. Lots of storage/shelf space in the bathroom. Wish the shower got a little hotter. Very clean and comfortable and the lobby/bar was very cool. Gym had a couple of bikes, elliptical, and some weights. Overall, very nice stay and the hotel is near public transit and about 20 min from the airport.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Location was brilliant near the central station and metro stops. We went whilst tivoli was closed but that is very closeby if you are planning to visit. Great central location. Staff are good, lady working the bar was brilliant and managed very well even when it was busy. The only thing i would make comment on is the luggage hold. It doesnt feel secure and all anyone needs to do is ask for a key, you have no idea whos going in and out of there. Nothing was stolen hut i could see it easily happening so something to be aware of. Maybe they should have a system where you prove you stayed in the hotel, theoretically anyone from off the street could figure this out. Overall great stay, food was decent. Hotel comfortable with nice interior. Would recommend

We had a wonderful stay at the WIDE hotel for 5 nights. We stayed in a 6th floor room with balcony which was plenty spacious for us. Very comfortable bed, blackout curtains, and quiet (in terms of hotel noise). Good in-room coffee maker. Location was great- easy walk or bike ride to anything we needed. Front desk staff helpful. The only downside is that there is a music venue directly across from the hotel entrance and 6th floor balconies. We checked in on a Sunday and there was incredibly loud (could not drown out even with white noise machines) disco/rave music that played from 3 until 9:30 pm. This only affected us that day as we were jet lagged and needed a nap. I went on their calendar online and saw that they have many concerts there and that they play music typically on weekends. We stayed Sunday-Friday and this was the only time that the music affected us, but I can imagine that this would be a bigger deal on weekends. We had a great stay and were out of our room every other day during these hours, but just a word of caution for anyone who plans to be in the room more or has a young child who needs a nap, etc. Oh and I could not find any info on the gym, but it was great! Very modern, nice equipment. Treadmill, elliptical, bikes, machines, and many free weights.

Lovely hotel and great location. Wish we would have know there is construction going on for our Oct 2025 trip. Housekeeping could be better as there was a dirty sock on the floor in our room. Also the vanity area is too small. No free coffee or extras, so expect to pay for it. Nice bar, but the luggage holding room was absolutely packed. No map of area or info given to tourist. Very reasonably priced, though.

Rommet var fint , spesielt badet der det var god plass til å sette toalettsaker og diverse. Stor dusj,men litt svakt trykk. Godt og varmt på badet , men litt kaldt på rommet . Housekeeping kom ikke og tok søppel selv om vi hang ut skilt om rengjøring. Veldig bra lokasjon med kort vei til Tivoli og shopping . God seng .

Hotellet och rummet levde inte alls upp till våra förväntningar, vi hade nog fått intrycket av info och bilder att det skulle vara mycket finare än det var. Tyvärr kändes det som riktigt gamla och slitna lokaler som man försökt förfina med renovering men allt syntes igenom. Incheckningen var okej men ingen merservice alls mer än att ge rumskyckeln sen var det klart. Rummet var väldigt litet och slitet. Det var dåligt städat, främst tyvärr i badrummet som hade så mycket opolerade ytor att det såg riktigt smutsigt ut. Våra glas som stod på rummet var smutsiga och när vi bad en person i städpersonalen om ett par nya suckade hon stort och gick in i det rum hon just städade och hämtade två glas därifrån, ett med munavtryck på och ett med kalkavlagringar på. När jag påpekade det suckade hon igen och låtsades som att hon inte förstod min engelska eller svenska så jag fick gå ner till receptionen. Där berättade jag allt detta jag skriver och jag fick ett ”jag ber om ursäkt” + någon voucher på en öl i baren om jag köpte en till öl” och två nya glas. Frukost köpte vi till, vilket inte var värt det. Riktigt dåligt utbud med pålägg men främst av allt, den varma maten var inte ens varm. Vi sa till redan dag ett men dag två var den lika kall. Annars helt okej hotell, inget extra alls men bra läge till både Centralen och centrum. Vi kommer troligen inte besöka detta igen.

Excellent hotel in an historic building. Very convenient location, walking distance from central train station, metro, Tivoli Gardens and Radhuspladsen for Stroget. Beautiful rooms with high standards of cleanliness and illy coffee machines with very comfortable beds and good black out/ sound proofing. Breakfast was always fully stocked with many hot and cold options. Comfortable lobby, friendly helpful staff. Highly recommended

Städning endast om man hänger upp skylten att man vill ha det städat INNAN 9:00, vilket vi uppmärksammades om först vid utcheckning. Halvfungerande streamingfunktion på TV:n, funkar inte med alla streamingtjänster. Lite slarvig service, bad om nya duschhanddukar eftersom städning uteblivit, men fick bara en. Helt ok rent, svalt rum, bra men högljudd AC.

Just an average hotel. Was clean in terms of the basics of bathroom etc but very dusty on all surfaces. You had to place a card on your door to request it to be cleaned each morning, we did twice, but it wasn’t cleaned on either occasion despite us seeing cleaning staff on our corridor. Poor quality sheets and bedding, what I would expect from a very cheap hotel if I’m honest. Good distance to Tivoli Gardens and Central Station (10 mins) but everything else is further. Any good restaurants are 10 mins walk. Lots of building work going on around the hotel and traffic can be heard from rooms. One benefit of this hotel is the bar in the lobby, it’s really nice.

Set the thermostat to 10C, no change. Asked for maintenance to check, they said it was working. Also note that across from the hotel is a beer garden so expect some evening noise and music.

We stayed on the side of the hotel next to an outdoor music venue - so thumping bass until 2 am on Sunday night / Monday morning. Our relatives faced the other side and had no idea - so I’m not even sure why they allow guests into the rooms on the venue side on concert nights??

Great stay at WIDE. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was really comfy. There’s music opposite in the summer but it stops by 10pm-ish. Otherwise it was really quiet.

Our stay at the Wide Hotel was very pleasant. It was located just off the H.C. Andersens Blvd making it convenient to many of Copenhagen's attractions and high spots. The room was nicely furnished, clean and the bed was comfortable. Our only complaint was the sink which was too small and the faucet which was too big for the sink.

Very comfortable bed. Very quiet room despite being right by the lift and loud music happening outside. Good shower and nice toiletries. Ideal location for someone who, like me, was travelling solo as you’re close to the main rail station, Tivoli and the main centre. The view from my room was just the back of a building so wasn’t quite sure about the bed positioning facing out but it was easily resolved by closing the curtain. Good lighting which is always lovely to have in a hotel room. I had the breakfast and there was a good range which helped set the day off to a good start. Lovely staff and very helpful.

The hotel was in a nice area and we were able to jump on the metro with no problem as it was a few blocks away. Great cafe on the corner for breakfast. We had requested 2 rooms on the same floor if possible. My friend was put in an outside room. She had to literally go outside to get to the room and it was pouring down rain. Although this room is probably lovely in good weather with a nice view, getting to the room left my friend soaking wet! The staff were helpful in moving her to a room on my floor. Would stay here again.
The hotel was in a nice area and we were able to jump on the metro with no problem as it was a few blocks away. Great cafe on the corner for breakfast. We had requested 2 rooms on the same floor if possible. My friend was put in an outside room. She had to literally go outside to get to the room and it was pouring down rain. Although this room is probably lovely in good weather with a nice view, getting to the room left my friend soaking wet! The staff were helpful in moving her to a room on my floor. Would stay here again.

Amazing hotel in a great location near the Radhuspladsen. Stayed in one of the penthouse rooms with a private balcony - Highly recommended. Fantastic service all around. We had to move rooms 3 times. The first time was because there was no hot water for the shower and they couldn’t fix it. The property was sold out so we had that room for 2 nights then we were downgraded to a room partially below the parking lot. The room had a leak. Nobody would help us move our luggage and we had to drag it downstairs because there was no elevator to that side of the building. The front desk staff was terrible! They offered NO assistance and made us check out and store our luggage before giving us a new room. FINALLY a wonderful gentleman at the front desk understood and sympathized with us since we were there 4 nights and switched our room. Again though, no luggage assistance or compensation for the disturbance and inconvenience.

The staff was exceptionally efficient and friendly. The airlines lost our luggage and the staff helped us throughout the process. They were on the phone calling, waiting, following up on everything. We did not know who to call, we couldn’t speak the language, and we were totally frustrated and stressed. The staff helped us, going out and beyond . We also did not know how to work the washer-dryer and maintenance came physically to the room to start the machine and teach us how to use it. I would definitely recommend the Wide Hotel. Staff was great and it is conveniently located.

The reception staff by the name of Lewis was outright RUDE. I explained that I’m a hotels.com Gold ViP member and would like to enquire on late check-out options. He said there is no such thing. My room was on the first floor and overlooked the busy but friendly Studiestræde. It was a compact but comfortable room with a small bathroom. The room had a nice amount of storage, plus a small fridge for a bottle of water and milk and other drinks. A very comfortable bed, though the duvets were not quite big enough for myself. The shower provided steaming water and was of good presssure to ensure a good clean. The staff here are friendly and exceedingly helpful and knowledgeable.

Well situated for Tivoli, train station and main shopping street with Nyhavn a little further. Staff members were friendly and mainly helpful. Breakfast was included and there was a good choice of food. The cost was DK 245, about £30 per person per day. Expensive and not worth the cost. Room was small with no drawers for clothes and a small wardrobe. Bathroom was small, very small with a minute wash basin. The shower itself was good but again the ‘shower room’ was small and narrow. Oddly, there was no security chain on the door but there was a peephole. Opposite the hotel there is a bar and music venue open April to September (according to their website). The ‘music’ can start at 5.00, or earlier, and only stops at 9.00. It is loud, very loud and whilst we were there was ‘house’ music, so no melody just a thumping drum beat. I did complain but the person I spoke to showed no empathy and suggested, in not so many words, the landowner can do what they want in Copenhagen. I will not stay here again due to the noise and small room. I do not recommend this hotel.

Hotellet och rummet levde inte alls upp till våra förväntningar, vi hade nog fått intrycket av info och bilder att det skulle vara mycket finare än det var. Tyvärr kändes det som riktigt gamla och slitna lokaler som man försökt förfina med renovering men allt syntes igenom. Incheckningen var okej men ingen merservice alls mer än att ge rumskyckeln sen var det klart. Rummet var väldigt litet och slitet. Det var dåligt städat, främst tyvärr i badrummet som hade så mycket opolerade ytor att det såg riktigt smutsigt ut. Våra glas som stod på rummet var smutsiga och när vi bad en person i städpersonalen om ett par nya suckade hon stort och gick in i det rum hon just städade och hämtade två glas därifrån, ett med munavtryck på och ett med kalkavlagringar på. När jag påpekade det suckade hon igen och låtsades som att hon inte förstod min engelska eller svenska så jag fick gå ner till receptionen. Där berättade jag allt detta jag skriver och jag fick ett ”jag ber om ursäkt” + någon voucher på en öl i baren om jag köpte en till öl” och två nya glas. Frukost köpte vi till, vilket inte var värt det. Riktigt dåligt utbud med pålägg men främst av allt, den varma maten var inte ens varm. Vi sa till redan dag ett men dag två var den lika kall. Annars helt okej hotell, inget extra alls men bra läge till både Centralen och centrum. Vi kommer troligen inte besöka detta igen.

The room was nice, but it was a little small. The shower was good too however, if you’re a larger person, it’s pretty small and you might find it very tight. Beds are super comfortable, the hotel is in a convenient location. They had a restaurant on site and you could get breakfast for a fee.

We had a nice stay at the WIDE hotel. Spacious room - big enough to unpack 2 large checked bags, a welcomed perk from traditionally tiny rooms in Europe. A mostly walkable location - Axelborg was a frequent visit for us being only a few steps from the hotel. The AC in the room was weak at best making for a few warmer than preferred night's sleep. There is a concert venue across the street, so if you're looking for a quiet room, ask for one at the back of the hotel. I am a light sleeper and wasn't much bothered by this, but we kept our windows shut. All in all a great, affordable stay for a nice property.
