Another great stay as always at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Charlotte University Research Park. Neighbor to UNC-Charlotte, IKEA, Top Golf, a ton of shopping and restaurants, incredibly easy access to parking and interstate, you really cannot go wrong with this spot. That's all exterior. Interior, Darin and team really have this place humming along. Super friendly and helpful staff, excellent rooms, great workout room and meeting rooms, awesome daily complimentary breakfast, and back deck overlooking some relaxing scenery. Darin and the team really treat you well here. I'll be back for all of my visits to the Charlotte/Concord area.

The breakfast was great, the room was clean and comfy, the staff were friendly and professional. Parking was ample and free. Would def stay here again.

The inn was good . Booked room expected the swimming pool. But it is not in working order so I could not swim that should have been removed from amenities I feel cheated. The staff and breakfast was good

Stayed the night for a concert and it was more than perfect. Very quick, friendly, helpful check in experience. Clean, cute modern decor in front loved the outdoor fire place. The inside was very clean and updated. Room was perfect, clean cozy bed, great bathroom, had closet, fridge, microwave. Great location- by lots of restaurants sit in and fast food, grocery store, college and next to lots of places to shop Cute tucked away area

Large comfy room and delicious breakfast, plenty of parking and walking distance to several nice restaurants. Perfect after a long car trip. Staying north of Charlotte helped me on my journey north - and it was a great rate.

Would stay here again! It was very close to UNCC. The staff were very friendly! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable.

Cockroach was crawling on the floor when we entered the room. That being said, the hotel did look clean, it may not be a reflection of the hotel as much as it was the last person staying in the room.

It’s a very nice hotel but I woke up with spider or bed bug bits on my legs and feet. Luckily I’m a nurse and immediately washed and but antibiotics on the area so just be careful

It’s a nice hotel. Located close to restaurant options. Hotel was very clean and up to date. good food options for breakfast. My only complaint is that the bed was so uncomfortable. It was hard as a rock and the pillows were flat. My back hurt when I woke up.

We were met with a friendly face, super nice and helpful! The breakfast choices were good and times served were accommodating. The hotel common areas was very clean as well as our room and our bathroom may have been the cleanest hotel bathroom I’ve ever seen!! The only negative thing I’d say is that the bed wasn’t extremely comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was really not even adequate enough to rinse hair after washing it. Other than that, I’d highly recommend this hotel in the Charlotte area.

The people were very friendly and helpful, both at the front desk and breakfast. Everything was clean and the location is convenient. Took off a star for thin walls that let disruptive noise in at night and low water pressure in the shower.

Staff was excellent, location was near everything u might need. Only issue was the bed was very uncomfortable and for that reason I wouldn’t stay there again or recommend to friends.

This hotel is not terrible but it isn’t great. The pressure when showering was very sporadic and there was a ton of noise coming from the room above us all through the night. The staff was friendly. I do feel like it’s overpriced for the type of place, but it’s decent enough to stay.

All of the staff members were very friendly and welcoming. All of the hotel spaces were clean. Only downfall was that the mattress was more firm than other Marriott hotels.

The window shade in our room was broken. We couldn’t see out the window. We reported it and no one ever came to address the issue. The beds are also so low it makes them difficult to stand if you have any mobility issues. Finally, please stop making the lamps and light fixture switch so difficult to locate. It’s like finding Waldo!

I was admitted to the hospital and obviously couldn’t make it to my reservation, I asked them if they could switch dates for me reservation since I knew it was last minute and they couldn’t cancel and refund me. I was told no. They were unwilling to help out in a time where I was vulnerable and it would’ve made my life a little easier. I will never book this hotel or recommend to anyone.

My experience is complicated. I paid for my room on expedia but while checking in, they charged $221to my card. I was informed the next morning this was not supposed to happen. Almost a week later, I am still waiting on the charges to be removed from my card. The room was clean an dud not smell of cigarettes which is wonderful. But the pillows are terrible. We stayed less than 12 hours while traveling. The continental breakfast was a plus as well.

I booked me & my dads room because we came in town for my cousin's funeral. We arrived a little before 12 & there was no availability for us to check in early. We left & came back about 5 minutes to 3 & there still wasn't rooms available. They were changing shifts & the new girl that came on asked for me & my dads ID & a credit card. I expressed to her that I booked the rooms & told her to put incidentals on my card. After she checked my ID I put it away and then she asked me for it again. I asked her how many more times would she need it so I know when I could put it away & it seemed like she had an attitude. I asked was my marriott number put on the rooms & she said "no because you booked through a 3rd party". I told her I had messaged the hotel after I booked & asked for the number to be put on my account & that was why I asked. She still seemed like she had an attitude. I got to the room & there wasnt a bathtub which was an issue because I have an infant. I had to go to the front desk about it because the phone in the room didnt work & the same girl said "well you shouldve booked a handicap room". Thankfully I was given a tub to bathe my daughter. The evening guy was great. I told him about the situation with the girl earlier in the day & he apologized profusely letting me know she was new & that he was working on training with her & would talk to her about it. Outside of that everything was great. Breakfast was good. the hotel was nice and updated, and parking was easy.

Stayed for 4 nights and room was not cleaned on 3rd night as we were told. We had to ask for towels.

Stayed here for our daughter’s wedding weekend. From check in to check out staff was amazing! Shout out to Deborah, Sheila, and Lamar! Top notch customer service. Overall, the whole staff was amazing. When I’m back in Charlotte this will be my go to hotel. Thank you all for everything!

Everyone we came in contact with was super friendly and helpful! The breakfast Diva is so hard working and I loved the little Swiss and spinach quiche! Rhonda at the front desk is a wonderful lady! Very professional staff. Couldn’t get any better.

This Fairfield Inn was very convenient to everything that we wanted to do in Charlotte. We were attending a concert at Skyler credit union amphitheater. It was less than 20 minutes from the hotel. Great location for the PNC music pavilion! We had a great 1 night stay.

Close to the business I was there for and lots of dinning options close by.

Stayed at this property due to its convenience to UNCC Stadium. My school played UNCC in football and our band had a HBCU Band event that Sunday. Updated property, friendly staff, breakfast, clean rooms, and good location. Walkable to restaurants, bars and public light rail

Friendly Staff, Clean Room, and Good B’fast

Other than keeping items replenished until breakfast was over, the stay was good. Like no eggs or bananas at 9:30 when breakfast ends at 10.

I stayed at this hotel for the first time for 2 nights and it was lovely. Rooms were updated and clean. The hotel and area was quiet. Breakfast was good but I wish they had some fresh fruit. However it was a 10/10 I will stay again!

Seemed to be a new property, very clean and neat. Clean and comfortable room and nice new tv. Breakfast was sub-par, very few hot choices. This was the only disappointing part of our stay.
