Clean property. Ample pay parking. Great suite with kitchen and laundry facilities in room. Would definitely stay again in the future.

I liked everything however the parking rate was a bit high.

Clean and spacious room. Comfortable. Nice to have a kitchenette. Parking costs $, but it's conveniently located within the building, and street parking is scarce. They were kind and let us leave our car at check-out so we could walk to get breakfast and explore Montreal some more. Great location!

Requires better signage for hotel elevators vs apartment elevators in underground parking. Difficult to find temporary parking in order to check in.

Truly pet friendly hotel. A definite must stay if you are looking for a place to stay with your pets, in a great area with a dog park in the same block. In a neighborhood where people walk their pets at all times. Friendly staff. Finally a place where they don't simply let you bring your pets, but they welcome them with water bowls, you are able to use the elevators with them and come as go as you please without annoying other guests, as several other guests bring their pets as well. Yes, they do charge a fee per stay, but worth it to not feel "allowed" but welcome. Walkable distance to dining, transportation and market options. Also walking distance to Old Montreal and the Downtown. Bathroom with great shower, hot water and it includes toiletries. Kitchen with enough supplies (pans, cutlery, glassware and plates) and a full size fridge, a 2 in 1 microwave/oven, dishwasher, washer and dryer. And courtesy pods for the dishwasher and washer that were really appreciated. Great view in the rooms with view. Parking is available for a fee per night at the same building, which was also a great option since it was raining when we arrived, and your car stays protected from the weather in a reserved space and you can come and go anytime as you please. And the parking is connected to the lobby and rooms via the elevators, so definitely worth it even if there's a cheaper option close by. In short, a great stay if you are bringing your pets and want to still be in the in the city.

Excellent stay with a gorgeous view of the city and a fantastic bar on the premises. Room was extremely well-appointed. Staff was helpful and friendly. We appreciated the 24-hour reception also, especially since we had an unexpectedly late arrival.

Great check in. Parking was easy. Appreciate the room upgrade and the fact that we had a full apartment (kitchen, living room, etc) with lots of space. Only disappointing part was that there was no gym on site - only passes for a gym a few blocks away, which were being used by other guests.

Nice building in downtown, modern rooms, easily accessible, front desk staff were great, underground parking stalls were spacious, and the unit was well equipped with a nice kitchen, laundry, and good size bathroom. Only negative thing I can say is the living room couch was very uncomfortable and there's no TV in the bedroom. Otherwise a great stay in a quiet building.

We had an OK stay at the Griffintown. First, you should know that it is in Griffintown So not downtown but adjacent to it. Steps from the Lachine canal and the western end of the old port. The pros: The location is awesome if you like Griffintown (which I do). Getting around is relatively easy with frequent bus service but the metro (Bonaventure) is an uphill hike. Hotel is modern, clean, staff is friendly, lounge looked nice The cons: The room, while large, is minimalist. Coffee but no tea. Two small bath towels. No robes, no hangers. Cheap cheap cheap!!! At this point, I don't think they can provide less, although the individual shampoo as opposed to the disgusting bulk stuff was a nice surprise. No breakfast service or restaurant on site, just a trendy bar. We liked the apartment features like a fully functioning kitchen but the hotel part was lacking. Would return only if we wanted to stay in the area, so for a summer trip, not a winter one. Hotel has a lot of potential --they just need to work on the little touches. And fix the big hole in the lounge washroom behind the door

The feelings of having your own condo like suite while you are travelling it’s the best, everything was very clean, the kitchen had all the essential you might need, there’s even a laundry on the unit. Check in and check out was very easy and our room was ready when we got there so we were able to check in earlier. Overall 5/5 if you are looking for a nice and comfortable place to stay while you explore the city

The room is dated, with cheap furniture that’s wobbly, chipped and creaky. The bath sink was clogged, the shower door weather stripping was half off, the shower nozzle flopped, and the corner of the rug in the bedroom was turned up to become a trip hazard. I fixed the first two problems myself but had to wait till 1 pm the next day for others to be fixed. Luckily the bed was comfortable

Two bedroom unit was a great layout. Clean for the most part but there were flies in the bathrooms. We needed to use the pullout sofa bed but linens were not available in the room. Called down and they first just brought a top sheet. Had to call a second time to get the fitted sheet, pillow and comforter. One tv in the living area. The elevators were really dirty. Mats didn’t get changed out or cleaned in the three days that we were there for. On the second day, someone had vomited in one of the elevators and did not get cleaned until we informed the front desk. Parking is $38/night with in/out privileges. Arriving and checking in was a bit of a pain as there was no real place to stop and leave the car while we checked in.

Clean room Some staff were great others not so much

The hotel's excellence was noteworthy, but I did encounter some disappointment with the cleaning schedule. Specifically, dust buildup was noticeable on the kitchen's light fixtures and the bathroom's ceiling fan. Nonetheless, the hotel's overall cleanliness and the abundance of local amenities made for a satisfying experience.

I’ve stayed at Hotel Griffintown numerous times and generally appreciated the convenience and setup. However, my most recent experience was disappointing. I stayed in an Apartment, where the Wi-Fi was nearly unusable throughout the visit — something I haven’t encountered in previous stays. Worse still, after checking out, I discovered an attempted break-in on my car, with scuff marks clearly visible around the window lining. I had parked directly in front of a security camera and immediately contacted the hotel. I was told a manager would review the footage and get back to me. That was 21 days ago, and I’ve received no follow-up since. While I’ve had better experiences in the past, the lack of reliable Wi-Fi and the hotel’s failure to address a serious security issue have made me rethink future visits.

It was great space wise for everyone who stayed in the room(4 of us). We wished there was more lighting in the bed rooms and that a couple of bulbs were out in the fixtures, also the HVAC was really loud in the closet and there wasn't any lighting in it which trying to pick out clothes kinda sucked. All in all the space was great that the stove and things available for us to use to cook was great. Would come back, location was great for food and groceries and has a lovely cafe a couple blocks away.

This is a great place to stay in a new neighbourhood of Montreal! We did not want to be right in the Old Port area because it is too crazy busy and touristy (And Ubers don't like picking up there!). This place is about 15 mins walk along nice streets to the Old Port and the attractions along the River. It is about 15 mins to walk downtown or to the awesome restaurants along Notre Dame - Moreiros is a must! We had a queen suite, it has a fully equipped kitchen and dishwasher (essential!). There is even a washer/dryer though the dryer did not work well. We had room 604, it was very quiet. The elevator carpet was always filthy, this is why I gave a lower score for cleaning. Our suite was very clean. The windows do not have curtains that close all the way in the sitting area. We found this very annoying since everyone can see into your apartment and you can see into theirs. I don't think there is an ice machine. There is Nespresso coffee (small pods) in the room and some creamers. There is a depanneur across the street and a METRO about 2 blocks away. We liked staying here and would stay again as it was a clean, quiet and very reasonably priced hotel. I do recommend it for sure and I am quite picky about hotels!! One minor downside was it took about 3 days of requesting our room to be cleaned to get it done, we would ask when we went out for a few hours and got back twice to find it not done. I think that is more about the timing of the request than anything else.

The apartment hotel offers good value, primarily due to its location within walking distance of Old Port Montreal. The suite provides good amenities for the price, including a handy small kitchen, a washer and dryer. We found the surrounding area to be safe. However, there are two minor drawbacks: the sofa bed is not very comfortable, and there can be some minor noise at night.

Beautiful place, modern and clean. Parking is quite expensive and the air conditioner is only in the living room, so the bedrooms can be warm. Overall definitely recommend though!

Staff didn't bring the requested items to the room on more than one occasion, even on slower times at the front desk which was quite frustrating but other than that - it was great. Would book again.

Room was clean and nice enough. For the four nights we were there however, they was no room service. We had to ask for coffee pods, creamer, sugar, towels or sheets. For $700 a night during the Grand Prix, you would think they could send someone around to swap you supplies if they weren’t going to clean the entire room. Was a little inconvenient for sure. Was nice to have a washer and dryer in the room but there was no detergent so that wasn’t ideal either.

Had a lovely 2 night stay here whilst visiting Montreal. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was so comfortable, perfect bed and bedding! Would happily recommend.

J’avais téléphoné l’hotel plus de 2 semaines d’avance pour ontenir une chambre avec vue de la ville et l’étage le plus haut possible. Nous avons eu une chambre au 2e étage et vue du stationnement... Quand j’ai mentionné à la réception que j’avais fais une demande, elle m’a répondue qu’aucune note avait été enregistrée à ce sujet et que l’hotel s’affichait complet et pas de possibilité d’obtenir une autre chambre. De plus le canapé dans la chambre 201, est tres abimé et aurait besoin d’être changé.

Check in time is late, 4pm We arrived at 1030am to drop off our baggage so we could explore the neighbourhood before attending an event later in the evening. We returned at 2pm to see if there was a room available early, however no such luck.. we decided to sit in the lobby and wait for our room hoping to get in a bit early as our event started at 4pm. Front desk attendant told us she would let us know if the room was ready early. We waited for a while and figured we may as well get ready in the bathroom as we would not make it on time.. however there is only one restroom and other guests had the same idea as us. At 330 we noticed many guests coming in and getting a room right away, we decided to check to see if our room was ready. When speaking to the new front desk attendant, we were made aware that our room had been ready for quite some time.. it would have been nice if they could have let us know, like they said they were going to. For a 3 night stay we were provided with less than a full roll of toilet paper, when looking for more we found a Kleenex box but there was only 1 Kleenex left in it.. You can go to the front desk anytime to ask for more supplies, however when you’re sitting on the toilet you can’t really do so.. they should provide more than 1 roll. Check out time is 11am, however at 1045 there was a cleaner knocking at our door wanting to come clean out the room..

The property made a great first impression. The room was clean with modern amenities. It was also larger than most hotel rooms and it had a full kitchen area for convenience. The balcony also made the room more enjoyable. However, the following issues made my stay a nightmare: 1) the AC is in the living room area so the bedroom area doesn’t get any cold air. The bedroom has AC controls but even on full blast there was no cold air coming into the room. 2) the hotel was informed that there would be three guests but no sheets, blankets or pillows were provided for the sofa bed. 3) The room didn’t have any toothpaste. When I asked the front desk they said they were out and didn’t have any. I had to travel out at midnight to find a 24 hr convenience store to purchase overpriced toothpaste. 4) I paid over $40 to park in the hotels underground parking thinking that my vehicle would be relatively safe. However, when I was leaving to find toothpaste in the middle of the night I noticed that some lone had vandalised my vehicle by denying and scratching it. 5) The incident happened as reported to the front desk. They said they would investigate and a manager would call me the next day. No one called. I had to contact the hotel to get a response and when I did they didn’t seem to care. Overall, i regret staying here and was not happy about my experience.

I checked in May 30th at 2am in the morning. I called the hotel and told them that I was going to be coming in after 1am and they said it was no prob. I come in to see the front desk concierge full on deep sleeping at his desk. Go check your cameras for evidence. I had to wake him up. Once woken up he was barely able to speak or understand anything I was saying and seemed very annoyed. He kept saying "I'll bring everything to you" when I had no idea what he was talking about, he must have confused me for someone else and wanted to end the convo. I told him I wanted to check in multiple times until he finally understood. He gave me two card keys, didn't tell me what room I'm even in. I had to ask. He gave me a fob key for the garage and didn't tell me what spot was mine, I had to ask. He charged me for one night parking when I was staying for 3 so I had to remind him and pay twice. He didn't give me any of the receipts after payment either. Rude and unprofessional were the first impressions I got for this hotel. He gave me the wrong spot number and I got a note on my car the next day saying I parked in a spot not meant for me and my car will be towed by the hotel. I spoke to someone else and figured out that he gave me the wrong info. The room itself had stains on the counter in both the kitchen and the washroom. There were hairs in the sink and crumbs on tables which led me to believe that the cleaners don't clean. Hard furniture and beds. Impossible to sleep.

Love staying here, it's centrally located near shops and restaurants and is easy to walk to Rue Notre Dame which is foodie heaven, all the way to my old neighborhood, Saint Henri.

We stayed at this property with our 10 year old special needs child for 5 nights in September. We needed a space that was “like home” and Griffintown Hotel delivered. It’s convenient to have a full kitchen and separate living/sleeping areas. It was also nice to have underground parking available for our rental car. The area itself is newer, so not the typical “culture” you’d expect from Montreal but with new comes modern convenience especially when traveling with a child. We liked that the area was walkable and the Lachine Canal was right behind the hotel for walks. If you’re feeling adventurous you can walk quite a distance along the canal. We enjoyed walking to St. Henri, up to Atwater Market. We’d definitely stay here again if we visited Montreal. The front desk staff was also helpful and friendly. We had an Amazon package with items for our son sent ahead that they kept for us until our check in.

The room was lovely. I like that we had a kitchen and washer and dryer. The location is not ideal though. It's far away from transportation and there aren't many dining options unfortunately.

Very good location. We did not have a car but easy to get where ever we wanted to go by walking. Close to Old Montreal. Nice having an apartment and being able to do our laundry after travelling for awhile. Also close to walking path along the canal.

Dining options are not the best. Nothing opened for the morning. They charged my credit card the damage deposit in error which took multiple days to get fixed still unsure if refund has been processed. Rooms are nice It is downtown Montreal - a lot of street noise through out the night.
