Nice hotel that meets our needs. The exit door by the pool has had a broken entry latch all 3 times we have stayed here. Once in September and twice in December. They accept pets and the hotel is affordable. Very clean inside. The grassy areas around the hotel are polluted with dog feces. No poop bags and limited trash cans. We plan to continue to stay at this hotel.

Great hotel. There wasn’t a microwave in the room, but you could use the one in the lobby. The pool was small. But otherwise, great staff, good quick breakfast, nice area.

Small parking area. I saw quite a bit of pickup trucks, including mine. Turning space, in some instances, not enough. Great people. "Free" breakfast is continental. Just muffins and carbs. Need to know before you book if that's important to you. I didn't like the tile floors throughout. Cold on your feet. The mattresses are the foam ones. Mine was way too firm. Didn't get any sleep. Overall, ok place. Spartan rooms.

We stayed here for two nights with small children. The hotel was more run down than other reviews would indicate. Walls were dirty and paint was chipping. Floors and carpet were dirty or stained in common areas. Sheets were dirty when we checked in, but staff was quick to respond. Breakfast was ok with somewhat limited options. No coffee maker in the room, but coffee was available in the lobby all day.

The floor was filthy. I took a shower and walked into the bedroom. I went back into the shower for my comb and left black footprints in the shower! I requested my room to be cleaned every day and it never happened. The included breakfast was almost inedible. Would not stay there again.

Location is good, safe area. We have stayed at AVID in other cities and liked it but this location was dirty. Elevator not cleaned, walked in room after shower and feet where black, walls not wiped down.

This was an excellent choice with restaurants close by. Staff very friendly. Cleanliness was top notch. Staff friendly very knowledgeable to surrounding area with questions regarding local dining. Parking lot area was in a safe zone. Only bad review : Room was not soundproof . While in bathroom doing your business do you really want to hear the neighbor doing the same. Honestly this would have been Excellent for those exceptions. The price was very reasonable for a family of four.. Appreciate your staff

Hilliard is a lovely town and this hotel was as good as other Avid locations I have used, however the area has a lot of road noise so expect to hear this within your hotel room.

The staff here were so nice. I asked to extend my stay one more day and If housekeeping could just bring me more towels while I was out, and they fixed up the whole room including placing my twins’ personal pillows and teddy bears neatly on the bed after making it. The shower pressure and water temperature was perfect. The whole hotel was very clean and quiet. Will definitely be back if I need to.

I have stayed in this hotel in the past without incident, but my stay last month was truly awful. I was woken up around 12:30 a.m. with the people in the room next to me talking EXTREMELY loud and banging around. It was concerning, and after about a half hour I called the front desk to ask what could be done, or if I could switch rooms (not that I wanted to at 1 a.m.!). The clerk told me the hotel was full so I couldn't be moved, but he said he would talk to them to get them to quiet down. No one every came up stairs, and they continued talking LOUDLY and banging around chairs or something until 5 a.m. I wasn't able to go to sleep until after 5 a.m.. Obviously this was an awful stay. I messaged the hotel to see what could be done about it, but I have had no response. I would avoid staying here because of the possibility of serious sound issues, and the property’s lack of responsiveness to the issue.

Cleaning chemicals left lingering smells, we were told that the breakfast on weekends lasted until 10:30am--but it was cleaned up right at 9:30am. But a nice place, fun design, and friendly staff.
