The hotel is really old and dated and new owners are in the process of updating. That being said, there was literally no food available for breakfast. Railroad next to the hotel makes a lot of noise during the night making sleep difficult. Something was broken in every room we had rented.

There was a huge group of young 20 year old kids running back and forth to the pool yelling and slamming doors at midnight. The front desk staff knew who I was talking about when I called to complain so why didn't they tell them to be quiet before a complaint came in? They did quiet them down very quickly though so I'm happy about that. The pool though why is it open for people at midnight?? Otherwise the hotel smelled very strongly of weed everywhere when we first walked into the lobby. We aired out our room with the window open but again why is the hotel reeking of weed?

It did the job. Front desk staff was dressed pretty sloppy. they were friendly and helpful. the entire 1st floor reeks of cigarette smoke. The elevator flooring has a plank missing from the middle. Got us out of the rain for the night. Bed & Shower was all we needed.

I stayed at The White House Inn in May 2024 and it was OK. The place is clean enough. It's next to train tracks so it can be noisy at times with the passing trains. We used the meeting room for a family event and it went well. It cost $75 to use the meeting room for the afternoon but it was worth it.

Liked nothing. Ask for handicap room, was on 3rd floor in a regular room and elevator quit working on Saturday. Had to walk stairs to and from room with our luggage and other supplies needed. No one could speak much English to ask for things. Our room had no towels, wash cloths, etc. we had to go down to front desk and ask for it. The man came out with it in his bare feet. Filthy dirty, I took pictures, pee spot on the bedspread when opened up to go to bed. TV only worked when it wanted to. The man at the front desk had a dirty shirt on. A bunch of homeless, etc inside and out asking us for money. Breakfast was a gallon of milk shared by all, 2 kinds of cold cereal and toaster waffles. I wouldn't recommend that place to someone. You shouldn't either

The price point around half of what the Marriott and Hilton Hotels charge compared to this one seemingly fit the bill. It took two days for staff to actually get me a tv that works, never mind that I never did get cable working. In addition 3 of 4 lamps were not working, and the fridge died overnight. 5 day stay, since checked out but I’m still waiting for additional pillows from the front desk. Don’t bother using the hotel room phone, no one answers. While the hotel says no smoking, maybe that wasn’t enforced until 2022 because it sure smells like it. Parking lot - lots of odd characters, trash everywhere, not one space feels fully safe to park. Bathroom - remember this ain’t the Hampton Inn. If you’re over 6’ tall good luck standing in the shower. And don’t worry, the spots on the tile outside the shower, or the spots under the sink were always there, no need to worry. Bedding - at least the bed was soft, and it was odd that only the morning of check out did I see the blood spots on the main blanket over the bed. Fun times!!

Our first room wasn’t cleaned at all when we arrived, when we got a new room, our keys didn’t work. Not a single member of staff during our stay spoke English. When we got to our second room, our AC unit was disgusting, our tv didn’t work, sheets were stained, and the box spring was covered in brown stains. The entire hotel had an odor that smelled like feces, and the lobby smelled like cigarettes.

I checked into my room at 7 pm on Friday night. I was gone until 10:15. Upon returning, I sat down for a few minutes and then got up to go to the bathroom. There was paper in the toilet and it was yellow like someone used it. The toilet seat, around the screws and near the back of the toilet (by the tank) was dirty. GROSS. Also, the drain in the alcove sink was broken. I called the front desk and asked someone to "come up to look at a few things." The woman replied, "I'm the only one here until 11pm. We can send someone up at that time, or I can come up." No one came. (Not surprising.) The entire place smelled like an ash tray. The continental breakfast was a joke. It was just glazed donuts, opened bread and bagels, (no jelly, butter, or cream cheese to put on it.) There had been some containers of cereal, but the seal was broken on a few of them, like they had gotten crushed in the crate they were being store in. I took photos of all of this. I'm never staying here again.

When I was running water for the tub, there was some type of metal type dirt. That was the tub disgusting. There was tile coming from the side of the tub where I could see behind the tile or baseboards. It was not a very clean or maintained bathroom at all.

Dated furnishings. Queen sized beds were missing the cover over the box springs. Vinyl near the tub has gotten wet over the years and is pulled up. Carpet appeared vacuumed. horizontal surfaces were smeary. Staff was somewhat distant perhaps understaffed? Continental breakfast was a bare minimum. No fruit such as Bananas or Apples were present. The building is dated and needs a lot of cosmetic work, inside and outside. Abandoned items litter the perimeter of the building. The hotel is located near an active train route. The train blasts it's horn at 3:35 AM each of the 4 days we stayed there. I would not recommend this location.

Let's be honest upfront- This is a blue collar, workingman's hotel. It feels like the 1970's in the rooms, the outside areas are a little ragged and need some upkeep and the breakfast is sparse. Having said that, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and the TV and air conditioning worked well. The place is mostly concrete, so it was very quiet in the room and easy to sleep well without hearing hallway noise and creaking floors above. For the price, a decent place to spend a couple of nights.

I would pay an extra $20 to go somewhere else, the train horns were excruciating, the air-conditioning unit decibel level was higher than an AC/DC concert, and not to judge, but the clientele was very interesting. I would not stay there again. It really is disappointing when the ownership is not willing to upgrade and put some money into their facilities.

The first room we were given was incorrect. We booked a double room, but were given a king. That room smelled like wet dog. Was able to change rooms without any issues. The second room was better, smell-wise. The bedding was a bit damp on one of the beds and it was stuffy. We opened the window and the screen was tore with holes. The bathroom faucet was tough to turn off. The bathroom floor was in rough shape and the trim was in similar shape. The shower pressure was amazing though. Thankful my family is short, the ceiling was quite low in the shower. Thankful we were only staying for the night. The gal working the front desk was nice.

I.....DID.....NOT....CANCEL. I SHOWED UP AT 0130AM on friday morning to check in. Yes. I was late (our plane was rescheduled late due to a bird strike and we all had to find another flight) and I called multiple times with no answere. And when he did answer, i told him i was going to be there around 1-140am. When we got there he was sleeping in his office out of site and 35 minutes later when i heard him snorring through a door i banged on the door multiple times befor he woke up and came out. Then he said I cancelled and and while arguing with him a few minutes he finally said HE CANCELLED ME BECAUSE I DIDNT GET THERE BY MIDNIGHT. Then I contacted Expedia and they could not contact him over phone even though he was in his office and would not pick up the phone. My friend and I had to sleep in the car 3 nights in South dakota in freezing tempreture because he would not grant my room. I am going to pursue charges against him with a Lawyer and maybe never use Expedia again. Then he said I cancelled and and while arguing with him a few minutes he finally said HE CANCELLED ME BECAUSE I DIDNT GET THERE BY MIDNIGHT. Then I contacted Expedia and they could not contact him over phone even though he was in his office and would not pick up the phone. My friend and I had to sleep in the car 3 nights in South dakota in freezing tempreture because he would not grant my room. Liked nothing. Ask for handicap room, was on 3rd floor in a regular room and elevator quit working on Saturday. Had to walk stairs to and from room with our luggage and other supplies needed. No one could speak much English to ask for things. Our room had no towels, wash cloths, etc. we had to go down to front desk and ask for it. The man came out with it in his bare feet. Filthy dirty, I took pictures, pee spot on the bedspread when opened up to go to bed. TV only worked when it wanted to. The man at the front desk had a dirty shirt on. A bunch of homeless, etc inside and out asking us for money. Breakfast was a gallon of milk shared by all, 2 kinds of cold cereal and toaster waffles. I wouldn't recommend that place to someone. You shouldn't either

Be checked in and they couldn't find my reservation, okay no big deal she finds it gives us the key to the room it didn't want to open. Got it open, and in our room in our PJs and someone is trying to open our door they gave someone the same room. That is not okay. The hotel is really old and dated and new owners are in the process of updating. That being said, there was literally no food available for breakfast. Railroad next to the hotel makes a lot of noise during the night making sleep difficult. Something was broken in every room we had rented.

Dated furnishings. Queen sized beds were missing the cover over the box springs. Vinyl near the tub has gotten wet over the years and is pulled up. Carpet appeared vacuumed. horizontal surfaces were smeary. Staff was somewhat distant perhaps understaffed? Continental breakfast was a bare minimum. No fruit such as Bananas or Apples were present. The building is dated and needs a lot of cosmetic work, inside and outside. Abandoned items litter the perimeter of the building. The hotel is located near an active train route. The train blasts it's horn at 3:35 AM each of the 4 days we stayed there. I would not recommend this location.

Motel is just by a railroad and kind of a warehouse district. The only real problem is you have check in at 11:00 am and it’s 2:00pm. Hotel says they have attempted to correct this with success.

I stayed at The White House Inn in May 2024 and it was OK. The place is clean enough. It's next to train tracks so it can be noisy at times with the passing trains. We used the meeting room for a family event and it went well. It cost $75 to use the meeting room for the afternoon but it was worth it.

The price point around half of what the Marriott and Hilton Hotels charge compared to this one seemingly fit the bill. It took two days for staff to actually get me a tv that works, never mind that I never did get cable working. In addition 3 of 4 lamps were not working, and the fridge died overnight. 5 day stay, since checked out but I’m still waiting for additional pillows from the front desk. Don’t bother using the hotel room phone, no one answers. While the hotel says no smoking, maybe that wasn’t enforced until 2022 because it sure smells like it. Parking lot - lots of odd characters, trash everywhere, not one space feels fully safe to park. Bathroom - remember this ain’t the Hampton Inn. If you’re over 6’ tall good luck standing in the shower. And don’t worry, the spots on the tile outside the shower, or the spots under the sink were always there, no need to worry. Bedding - at least the bed was soft, and it was odd that only the morning of check out did I see the blood spots on the main blanket over the bed. Fun times!!

I would pay an extra $20 to go somewhere else, the train horns were excruciating, the air-conditioning unit decibel level was higher than an AC/DC concert, and not to judge, but the clientele was very interesting. I would not stay there again. It really is disappointing when the ownership is not willing to upgrade and put some money into their facilities.

Breakfast, didn’t eat. Looked extremely and barely basic. No back on tv remote, couldn't read remote buttons, worn off. Room darkening curtain, but not completely hung up. Enough to keep light out. Sink same, drained very, very, very slow. Towel i used had small stain, but had been washed. Very dark outside when i arrived. Hit the grade school about 6 blocks away and realized i had to turn around. Stayed there 12 years ago and was still okay. Definitely not what it used to be and will not stay there again even for the lower price. Disappointing to say the least.

Our room smelled horrible. I couldn't get that smell out of my nose for days! I sprayed body spray just to try to clear the air. Didn't work. TV didn't work. Asked for new batteries for remote, but that didn't work. Continental breakfast was until 9:30 and food was about gone by 9am. It was a convenient hotel for 1 night, but will never stay there again.

The night attendant at the front desk, appeared like he was sleeping when we came in. Room only had towels for 2 people resevation was for 3. Breakfast milk was sour out of date, bagels and bread out of date. Juice machine didnt work. Coffee machine was overflowing and running on the floor, but employee didnt clean it up.

There were people having a tailgate party in the parking lot when we pulled up. The room was dark and felt dirty. The sheets had a couple small dark stains. The fridge seemed to be leaking and froze my apple come morning. The sink did not work well and could not find hot water. It did not drain very fast. The shower was short and did not have very much water pressure. Not sure if there was a continental breakfast cause we hurried out the next morning.

We chose this hotel for our business stay in Aberdeen because no other local hotels were available. Apparently, there was a stress on the hotels due to the local county fair just completing and the town being closest to a large construction project in progress nearby. We waited over 10 minutes behind another customer who'd stated he'd already been waiting about the same time when we entered the facility for an employee to show up. Everything about the hotel is aged and in immediate need of an overhaul. The only real positive about this place is that there were no bed bugs, but we did encounter a large German Cockroach in our room on our final morning. Their claim of a "Continental Breakfast" was a joke and virtually inedible. Not a happy stay by any means.
