Fantastic check in with friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room in a beautiful old building with a modern twist. Great location, a few minutes walk from the old town. Comfortable bed, effective air conditioning. Shared kitchen area was a bonus. Sound travelled from top floor rooms - not a problem for our stay but could be a concern for some.

Es un alojamiento muy muy céntrico, literalmente a 2 minutos andando de la plaza mayor, pero al mismo tiempo en una calle muy tranquila. Si quieres comer o tomar algo puedes hacerlo en las cuatro direcciones. Hay supermercados y farmacias cerca, así como tiendas y cualquier cosa que necesites. El interior es como un palacio renovado con una cocina que puedes utilizar muy equipada, solo faltan cazuelas( por si quieres comprar pasta fresca y cocinarla) y sartenes. Pero si quieres desayunar o comprar algo de comida o cena hecha, es perfecto. Las horas de recepción son muy limitadas, pero no es ningún problema porque te lo facilitan todo y la comunicación por WhatsApp es continua. Un sitio muy recomendable si vas a Bolonia. Nuestra habitación era enorme para los tres y muy cómoda, tienen detalles como dejarle agua en el mini bar o cápsulas de café en la cafetera de la habitación y en la cocina hay muchas cosas a tu disposición.

Amazing location! Walk down a half block to all the shopping and monuments in Bologna. Yet the building is quiet and feels secluded. The best of both worlds. Clean and simple rooms with all the basic amenities needed (espresso machine, mini fridge, bathroom supplies). Pull out couch in our room was not comfortable for the adults but the kids had no complaints as they fell asleep immediately after a day of walking about. Very friendly and flexible staff greeted us at the door and even had the perfect dinner recommendation for our family with dietary restrictions.

This is a perfect little boutique hotel very close to the old town. Walkable to everything. The room was very comfortable with memory foam mattress. Taxi was able to drop us off and pick us up right at the front door. Nespresso maker in the room and two free water bottles. Recommend highly for easy going travelers.

very centrally located, they do not warn you that the hotel in a ZTL zone, and cannot even arrive in front of the entrance to load or unload your bags if you drive. Eventually, when you get to chat with the reception lady, she will tell you that there are garages around where you can park. If there was a registration for ZTL, there was no mention. I parked half a mile away and that problem was solved. In terms of staying, I found my room charming and clean with the very comfortable bed positioned on a platform with access via a short set of steps. I had no problem with that, but my companion, up in age and having to get up sometimes during the night, felt unsafe. The bathroom was pristine and appeared brand new, but the shower stall was clearly of a different quality (!) with the walls that looked like they were peeling off and overall unpleasant. The breakfast space is very modern, super clean and creative and artsy. There is no breakfast, just the possibility of making coffee (we were told this is an affittacamere) and a double espresso is good for me to get me going (although I chose not to have it there). Overall, it's a great location, with good design and a steep price. Oh, I was forgetting that the concierge we had was absolutely charming and made the whole experience delightful.

To begin, this is not a hotel or inn. It is more of an Airbnb without the kitchen inside. We did get there earl with car and bags. No one answered door.They are very clear they open at 3, but we were hoping to put our suitcases in and go. The Receptionist did respond through Whats App. Luckily we use that. She was on her way. She was kind and very helpful. She even got us in our room earlier. The facility is artsy and interesting. You must have your own combo to enter. Parking is a 15 min walk. You cannot drop or roll bags to this place. Do not bring your car. Do not bring big luggage. We are gone for weeks, so this is what we had. Finally, no internet. Not great and it was never fixed. We needed to check back at home. Cranking your own wheel is how this place works. Not a hotel with major reception. And way too much to figure out on our own. Again, we used an app for that part too and we are in our 50’s. Room was bare but fine.

Excellent location to walk to downtown Bologna. Room was large, clean & had a great shared kitchen area. Could use some better soundproofing between the floors. We were on the 1st floor (1 level above the street), and could hear people walking in their room above us. The only hiccough was there is only limited hours for checkin & the staff was late. The emergency number we were provided was not working. Once the staff arrived everything was sorted out quickly. They were very helpful in recommendations for dinner, sights to see & help with taxis. I would recommend staying here!

Great accommodation with good facilities (including a shared kitchen and small seating area) and in a brilliant location too - about a 5 minute walk to Piazza Maggiore. Our check in process was straightforward and the team were very helpful and communication was great. I would really recommend staying here and would stay again. Thanks!

Struttura in buone condizione e pulita. Quelo che non mi e' piaciuto e' il pessimo odore nella hall e nelle scale, odore persistente, probabilmente dovuto a umido o non saprei a cosa. La camera era confortevole e pulita.

Very good. Shower looked a bit moldy but overall clean. Check was super easy. Communication with host was very quick and accurate. Even helped me to reserve a taxi to airport.

Sehr ruhig und sehr zentral gelegen. Giovanni und Viola, beide vom Empfang waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und wir hatten ein grosses Bad.

とても綺麗でお洒落なホテルでした。ベッドもふかふかでゆっくり休めることができました。 シャワーのみ、少し水捌けが悪かったのと、小物置きがなく少し不便でしたが問題なく使用することができました。ありがとうございました！

I had a horrible experience because the walls are so thin and you can hear everything from next room. I liked the hotel, it’s very stylish but when I got 3 college students next door, who were talking loudly and it felt like they are in my room. Management couldn’t do anything and I had to change the hotel in the morning. The manager apologized but I didn’t get a refund for 2 unused nights. So I would not recommend this hotel unless they do soundproofing, right now your stay would depend on your neighbors. What a shame.

The hotel is in a great position and really convenient for exploring the centre of Bologna. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable but maybe a little 'tired' in terms of decoration and maintenance. Nice comfortable bed and lovely toiletries.

This was a lovely modern conversion of an old building really nicely appointed. Slightly unfortunate that the only natural light was from skylights, there were no windows to look out of or to open. The staff were wonderful and their communication (via whatsapp) was excellent. I'd stay there again

The location is unbeatable minutes from all the main sights, markets and the huge Conad grocery supermarket. Viola couldn't have been more kind or more helpful.

Bien que notre réservation fut effectuée sur hotels.com, Mitodea n'est pas un hotel mais s'apparente plus à un airbnb. Great location in the historic center. Comfortable, spacious room, and friendly, helpful staff. But, as noted by others, the staff are only there from 3 to 7, so you're mostly on your own. That worked well for us.

very centrally located, they do not warn you that the hotel in a ZTL zone, and cannot even arrive in front of the entrance to load or unload your bags if you drive. Eventually, when you get to chat with the reception lady, she will tell you that there are garages around where you can park. If there was a registration for ZTL, there was no mention. I parked half a mile away and that problem was solved. In terms of staying, I found my room charming and clean with the very comfortable bed positioned on a platform with access via a short set of steps. I had no problem with that, but my companion, up in age and having to get up sometimes during the night, felt unsafe. The bathroom was pristine and appeared brand new, but the shower stall was clearly of a different quality (!) with the walls that looked like they were peeling off and overall unpleasant. The breakfast space is very modern, super clean and creative and artsy. There is no breakfast, just the possibility of making coffee (we were told this is an affittacamere) and a double espresso is good for me to get me going (although I chose not to have it there). Overall, it's a great location, with good design and a steep price. Oh, I was forgetting that the concierge we had was absolutely charming and made the whole experience delightful.

Excellent location to walk to downtown Bologna. Room was large, clean & had a great shared kitchen area. Could use some better soundproofing between the floors. We were on the 1st floor (1 level above the street), and could hear people walking in their room above us. The only hiccough was there is only limited hours for checkin & the staff was late. The hotel is in a great position and really convenient for exploring the centre of Bologna. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable but maybe a little 'tired' in terms of decoration and maintenance. Nice comfortable bed and lovely toiletries.

We had a fantastic stay, the hotel was small but cozy and the staff was super helpful during our entire stay. Great location in the city center with walking distance from basically everything you could need. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Bologna!

Es un alojamiento muy muy céntrico, literalmente a 2 minutos andando de la plaza mayor, pero al mismo tiempo en una calle muy tranquila. Si quieres comer o tomar algo puedes hacerlo en las cuatro direcciones. Hay supermercados y farmacias cerca, así como tiendas y cualquier cosa que necesites. El interior es como un palacio renovado con una cocina que puedes utilizar muy equipada, solo faltan cazuelas( por si quieres comprar pasta fresca y cocinarla) y sartenes. Pero si quieres desayunar o comprar algo de comida o cena hecha, es perfecto. Las horas de recepción son muy limitadas, pero no es ningún problema porque te lo facilitan todo y la comunicación por WhatsApp es continua. Un sitio muy recomendable si vas a Bolonia. Nuestra habitación era enorme para los tres y muy cómoda, tienen detalles como dejarle agua en el mini bar o cápsulas de café en la cafetera de la habitación y en la cocina hay muchas cosas a tu disposición.

This is a perfect little boutique hotel very close to the old town. Walkable to everything. The room was very comfortable with memory foam mattress. Taxi was able to drop us off and pick us up right at the front door. Nespresso maker in the room and two free water bottles. Recommend highly for easy going travelers.

The hotel is located in the best position right in the old town of Bologna, but still in a quiet residential street. As the building is heritage listed, they are unable to do anything about sound proofing the rooms so there is a lot of foot fall, creaking floor boards and noise transfer from room to room. The team at the hotel were very, very helpful and always extremely friendly, willing to help where possible. You can choose how often you would like your room cleaned, it is a very clean hotel. The other great idea is the open, shared kitchen space on the first floor, where you can heat up food, make tea & coffee and sit in another area rather than your room. Overall is it a lovely property and run very well.

This place was so spacious and conveniently located right in the heart of Balogna, walking distance to everything. The artwork and decor is fabulous and the room accommodations were everything we needed. We did have a little issue with our ac not being on but my daughter was able to get on a chair and turn it on. Shower was nice and hot, loved all the mirrors and outlets. Had a mini fridge and coffee station which was great although I couldn’t figure out how to make it work (my daughter made one and it worked but then it wouldn’t make a second one so I’m not sure what was happening but it’s all good. Espressos are accessible all over the city for cheap so it was no big deal. The beds were very comfortable with memory foam mattress. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Amazing location! Walk down a half block to all the shopping and monuments in Bologna. Yet the building is quiet and feels secluded. The best of both worlds. Clean and simple rooms with all the basic amenities needed (espresso machine, mini fridge, bathroom supplies). Pull out couch in our room was not comfortable for the adults but the kids had no complaints as they fell asleep immediately after a day of walking about. Very friendly and flexible staff greeted us at the door and even had the perfect dinner recommendation for our family with dietary restrictions.

A lovely period property in a historic and beautiful area. I would prefer to have a 24 hour reception - but that would increase the price. The room was big - but rather impersonal. Television too big and imposing. Curtains very depressing. Interior design could be softer and have more taste. Lighting - not pleasant. Reading light would be useful. Bathroom is nice. Breakfast room useful.

This was the best hotel we have been in a while ! It was very clean, new facilities, the staff was amazingly helpful and very friendly, including the cute dog golden retriever that gave us the warmest welcoming !!! I strongly recommend this place and its amazing staff !!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious and clean, with a working A/C unit, which was important in July! There is a small fridge in the room and water and coffee, too! We really enjoyed our stay. Another plus: the lovely, friendly doggo at reception (but we were asked first if we were afraid of dogs, so if you are: they will move him from there don’t worry!) :)

We had a very pleasant 2-night stay at Mitodea - Historic Residence. The property has a lot of charm, an excellent location, and a beautiful historic atmosphere. We would especially like to highlight the young lady who assisted us during check-in. She was very kind, attentive, and professional from the moment we arrived. She explained everything clearly and made us feel truly welcome, which gave us a great first impression of our stay. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located accommodation with warm and friendly service.
