Drury Inn & Suites Lafayette IN

Very nice stay. The staff we interacted with were amazing! There was some wear and tear on the carpets in our room and in the hallway, but overall no complaints.

During my visit, I experienced interactions from some staff members that felt unwelcoming and unprofessional. At times, their behavior made me and others feel uncomfortable in a way that was difficult to ignore. I was in town to celebrate a significant milestone—my doctorate graduation—and I found the service experience disappointing overall. I would appreciate it if management could review the incident, including camera footage from my visit, to better understand what occurred. I am not certain of the staff member’s name, but I believe additional training and development may be needed to ensure a more consistent and respectful guest experience going forward. Based on this experience, I am hesitant to return unless improvements are made.

This was my first time staying at a Drury Inn, and I would definitely stay again. Our room was large and clean, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, and the indoor pool and hot tub were nice and clean. They also had popcorn and pop as a snack in the evening, a full complimentary dinner (pulled pork, baked beans, salad, baked potatoes, chili and hot dogs on the night we were there) and drinks for adults in the evening, and a delicious hot breakfast buffet in the morning, (pancakes, waffles, sausage, biscuits and gravy, etc). Nothing more you need. This is a little thing, but they also had the large bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the shower, with the pump. That is so much more convenient than those tiny bottles some hotels give you. This hotel is just off the highway, which made it a quick 5 minute drive to my son's basketball tournament. There is also a Walmart across the street and a Meijer within a mile, as well as multiple restaurants. Very convenient location, yet still quiet and safe.
