KEX Hotel

The KEX Portland was amazing. I stayed for 3 nights in a 4 mixed bunk bed room. The beds were perfect size and quite comfortable, I’d recommend adding another pillow but either way I slept through the night. The comforter was thick and perfect to keep you warm thru the night. The storage below the beds contained plenty of space for all your belongings, didn’t know what to do with all of it. It’s a great space to get to know the others in the room and have a good time. Showers/Bathrooms were fantastic, the water heated up quickly so you didn't have to wait around or it to get warm and they provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash if you forgot yours. I did not try the amenities except the bar. Each night I indulged in beverages, the bartenders were amazing and provided amazing conversations thru the night. The last night I finally had a Cesar Salad and Steak, let me tell you that some of the best food I’ve had. That place is always busy at night with locals coming for drinks, highly recommend enjoying some drinks. Excellent hotel and staff, plus its centrally located in my opinion to allow easy access to everything around Portland.

The check-in was great, I'd come on the train and was quite tired and Christian at the front desk had my bed all set. Giving great recommendations for local food around town all within a short distance including the great Pizzeria, a diner, and a local Brewery. My room was spotless as were the bathrooms were for great tile pattern on the floor. The bar area also had very old wood herringbone pattern on the floor a wonderful attentive staff and a fantastic happy hour. Oysters abounded

The over all aesthetics was amazing and comfortable. The hotel furnace system was loud. a constant humm.

The rooms were clean, the bathrooms were spotless with beautiful tile work which you will appreciate. Just an all around amazing experience for me while I stayed at KEX. The hotel staff were amazing and always helpful, and made you feel like your were a friend instead of a guest. An all around great hotel you should try next time you’re in Portland.

An amazing hotel in the heart of Portland. Very cozy art deco atmosphere, an amazing lobby lounge, with a great little menu to satisfy your hunger, and a great drink menu to satisfy your thirst. KEX Portland is one of those hotels where you come back to time and time again when you visit this amazing city. It truly feels like a home away from home, and you just want to be here when you’re not busy running around town. It feels like home, so why not stop in for a drink or bite to eat, and stay awhile. I guarantee, you’re gonna love it.
