Poorly designed hotel, the lobby is on the second floor. Elevators are extremely slow and travel in the opposite direction that’s indicated on the signal. Rooms that face the street are noisy. All noise from the park in the square is heard from the top floor room. Parking on site is $20, parking garage offsite is $10. The garage is an inconvenient walk off property. Breakfast is $19 for the same food you get for free from other hotels.

This was a decent hotel. It is on the 2nd-4th floors of a central building. Access into the hotel was only by elevator getting out stairs were available. This was not the best situation as the elevators were slow coupled by one out of order. Entrance should somehow be made easier. The location is excellent, right in the middle of town. The picture is accurate but a bit deceiving as the lower level is not part of the hotel.

Parking could be more straightforward and the inside is absolutely stunning but could use more curb appeal on the outside entrance. It is not clear what door you enter in and then they have 2 VERY SAD looking trees in planters. Meantime once you get to the second floor and the outside rooftop bar area it is STUNNING!!!

The parking set-up is horrible because they don't have enough parking on the property. You have to park in a garage, pay and cross the street with your luggage. The front of the hotel and entrance is not clear and the hotel is in downtown, so we have to deal with one street which make it hard to look for.

The hotel is in a nice area and really well maintained but It's a little inconvenient to check in. There is no parking by the entrance. The lobby isn't in the main entrance. You have to temporarily park at the check-in drop off, go through a breezeway, to then take the elevator to the second floor to check in. You then have to go across the street to park at a garage deck for$10/day. Then walk all the way across the street with your luggage back to the hotel.

The hotel is in a good location. It's close to restaurants and shopping in Ocala but our room smelled and the parking wasn't at the hotel. We had to park in a parking garage across the street. We also were not happy with the loud music playing outside until midnight and 2:00am. Ear plugs come with the room because of the loud music. The bed was comfortable but the AC unit leaked and caused our room to smell like mildew. The best thing about this hotel is the location!

The carpeted hallway floors going to you room were absolute disgusting. Crime Scene level stains through all 200ft of the hallway. Trash candy wrappers under bed Also an extra TV remote under the bed. And parking was shared with public parking garage, no valet service. And last but not least are room when we showered the drain could not keep up, slow draining. So standing in are own dirty water while shower. Please do better Hilton. Downtown Ocala needs help….

The room they gave use witch was a upgraded option was rite on top of kitchen noise and smell was a little to much they should really not have a balcony on that room nor sell it as a upgrade, should be discounted to be honest! But staff was great! Room also was very musty and almost smelled moldy ! But service was great !

We had a balcony room and couldn’t used the balcony as it had no furniture and no door handle to get back inside. When asking the desk about this they told us that all the outside handles had been removed for “safety” reasons. However all of the other rooms had outside handles so that was disappointing. The coffee pot was broken and was told another one would be sent up to us but it never came. Finally there was a lot of mold in the room on the walls and in the bathroom. NOT what you were expect from a Hilton. Very disappointed.

Shower had used rags hanging from the shower head. Body wash was completely empty. Toilet seat was up and mostly used toilet tissue, which tells me they didn’t clean the bathroom at all.

Accommodation was updated and the fragrance in the hotel was very nice. Very close to good restaurants. TV was not working for my entire stay and when I spoke to the front desk I felt like the young lady by her tone did not care and just shrugged me off.

If you’d like to sleep on the floor and not on a comfy bed then it’s probably for you. The beds were god awful. The bathroom is spa quality but all that goes out the window when you lay down and try to sleep in the hardest bed I’ve ever slept in. Zero cushion, just springs or coils. I’ve slept on comfier beds in a super 8. Back pain for days after.

Overall, it was a nice stay. The view was nice- the balcony was worth a little extra. Parking was a hassle and expensive to park on the property- $22/ day! There was another option of a parking garage for $12, but it was too far to walk for us. The room was nice and clean, although there was a hair net behind the garbage can. A lot of reviews mentioned noise. There was a lot of outside noise when the balcony door was open, but it is in the middle of a city next to a very busy road, so that’s understandable. There was some noise in the hotel itself- we could hear people walking on the floor above us. I think the hotel was cheaply built with thin walls. There was a cheap-looking flash strip on the edge of the balcony floor. My real complaint is the bathroom door. It was a barn door style and it was almost impossible to get it to stay closed. That is almost a dealbreaker for staying there again! However, the shower was really good- very hot water and good pressure. I also liked that they had attached dispensers of shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. That is a great idea, plus the products were high quality. The only other issue was that there was a small table that was very wobbly. I think it just needed to be tightened. Overall, though, it was a pleasant stay.

The room was clean and spacious I enjoyed the room, except for the noise. The walls and windows are paper thin. I knew noise was an issue as soon as I saw the hotel had complementary earplugs in the room! It felt as though the room had no windows. We were on the 4th floor and we were able to hear every car, truck, motorcycle that passed as well as people speaking outside the hotel. Also, the door was difficult to close.

Didn't know how to close the shades. Maintenance of the cord to lower shades was disconnected so maintenance person had to fix this problem which he was very good at fixing the problem . Pillows were very fluffy and there should have been a flat one along with one fluffy one. Didn't sleep well we left earlier than planned I didn't know how to turn on bathroom lights but on the inside of the room by the door I saw a switch that said master. This was the control for the bathroom lights. The room should have a manual for operating the shades and lights. Now trying to park with phone was a nightmare for us because we are not savvy with our phones. We asked for help at the front desk and was helped.

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Ocala downtown. We were surprised to learn the lobby was on the second floor. As we waited in line for our room we heard the conversation about the parking. Apparently, parking in the front was $ 20 but they could not guarantee a parking spot if you left. Then $ 10 parking in a garage nearby. So, another agent helped us and we told her we heard the previous person speaking about the parking, but we were not sure about the details. The agent handed us a handout. And we had to figure it out by ourselves. We stayed in a nonsmoking floor the fifth floor. But the smell of marijuana was so strong I had to call the front desk. A room change was never offered to us. The balcony has a strange slant and it is very unsettling being outside. The front desk said it was designed this way. I asked if there was a pool and they said no, the website should say that. Earplugs were provided in our room because there is a hospital nearby and some clubs are open late, and you can hear the music in your room. again, the website did not mention this. We checked in on Thursday 3/27 and our room was not cleaned until 3/29. I called serval times, but the housekeeping hours were 10-3:30. The bathroom did not have shower gel and conditioner. I spoke to housekeeping, and they sent Maintenace department, but they only changed the shower gel. The Cable would only work on one channel. The front desk said the cable was out and since it was a weekend they would not fix it

The room was decent but the service and staff were absolutely terrible. The parking situation is an absolute joke. I paid extra to park in front of the building and went to a wedding and when we got back parking was full. The staff left me on hold for 17 minutes and said I can park across the street for $10 then try and get the $24 back from the hotel later. Why sell more than they have available?

Sunday 22 I left the room, I put the sign to do my service. We returned to the room 6 PM they didn't clean the room, when I looked for an HK to ask him why they didn't clean the room he replied that they were busy that's why they didn't clean the room. The hotel was in a great location and it was downtown, so some noise is expected. However, it sounded like the downtown noise was in the room with us all night long on a Sunday night. At 2am, there was loud yelling and police sirens going off that woke us up. Also, parking is terrible. It's kitty corner in a public garage, and you use an app to pay $10, plus a $2.95 convenience fee. This is Ocala, FL not Manhatten, parking needs to be included for the price.

Super cute town and the hotel is right in the middle of it. So easy, convenient and fun. Park right at the hotel and then walk around this cute town a pick out one of the several nice restaurants or check out the historic candy store or sit in the gardened town square. 15 minute drive to the Springs. Highly recommend. Our room was quiet and comfortable

It was in a great location , but being said, it came with lots of noise from the streets. It was a weekend, and bars let out at 2 am. If you want great location stay here, but if you don’t want the bar close noise go elsewhere, , only other issue was parking, expensive for the convenience of parking on property. Had option to park across street in a public parking garage which was a little cheaper. I would stay again the location out weighs the late night noise.

The food was terrible ..The morning chef bad and cook at night Bad wings salty, burgers over cooked,, Morning bacon looked old didn't get half the thing that i ordered after I got back in room ,looked at food ,,we did not eat in restaurant we took it to our room.Anyway when we checked in front desk wasn't very nice ,I guess he was leaving ,,Next day he was better,Would i stay again No.It was clean

The outdoor patio music was at least 5 decibels too high. It literally hurt to walk through that door - I left immediately. One of the bartenders didn’t even k ow what beer they had. Another bartender was much better - but then running inside & outside let in the loudness. Absolutely terrible.

The positive of the hotel is that it is in the square and can easily walk to restaurants, bakeries and even Starbucks. Breakfast buffet was $19 and they serve fake eggs! To me that's a bit much for not even real eggs. It is confusing to find the front desk which is on 2nd floor. Not marked very well at all. We were on the third floor which smelled like a pet store in the hallway. The elevators sounded like they were rubbing against something and very scary to ride. The beds sounded like metal bleachers if you moved too much!! Very disappointing considering it is not that old of a hotel. The tile is all cracked in the elevators also. Just expected more than what we got!!

Bathroom door wouldn't stay closed (barn door type w no latch). Very noisy- however they know this and give you earplugs in the room. There was a cockrock in the bathroom. Parking was $24. No breakfast included. They had a standard hotel 'buffet' but come to find out it was $19. Nice decor.
